“Our office did take out from this restaurant and we were all super impressed. We had a variety of makis and sushi's, beef, fried rice, miso soup, and salad. Everything was super fresh, pleasing to the eye and very delicious. Definately will go for date night with my husband to eat at the location. I haven't had sushi this good in a long time. “I am addicted to this place. I am in love with their Shoyu ramen with soft boiled egg and their vegetable tempura. There are many options for other ramen as well as other Japanese dishes and sushi. It's small but cozy. I just love it!“

“Such a gem of a restaurant! The korean lady serving us was so sweet. We had questions regarding our dietary restrictions and she was so patient with us and explained everything thoroughly.
We like to avoid mirin/sake and cross contact with meat when eating sushi and she explained that they only use vinegar to season their rice and their meat and fish stations completely separate. 10/10 just for that!

2.Castle pines rolls- 10/10, this was so good!
If you are living in this area you must visit them or, like us, if you are just driving through Colorado on your way to see garden of the gods or something like that, you better stop and try it out!

The market-price bluefin tuna was cut magnificently and extremely tender. The nigiri was garnished. The garnishes are so fragrant that you can taste them from smell as you put it in your mouth. The fried oysters were very refreshing. Toasted red bean sesame balls were served alongside our check and were an incredible finish. Our server was very friendly and funny.“

“Really enjoyed our experience at Kinoya Sushi & Izakaya! If you’re looking for all-you-can-eat sushi with a good mix of sushi, sashimi, rolls, and Japanese dishes, this is definitely a place worth trying, especially with a group of friends so everyone can order different items and share.

We started with the Baked Mussels, which were creamy, rich, and flavorful. The Beef Short Ribs were thinly sliced, tender, and easy to eat, with a really good marinade and seasoning.

The Sushi Tasting Plate was another highlight, and the Yellowtail Jalapeño was easily my favorite. The yellowtail tasted fresh, and the jalapeño added just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the fish.

I also highly recommend the Chawanmushi with Crab (Steamed Egg Custard). It was light, fluffy, silky, and tasted great. Just keep in mind that it takes around 15–20 minutes to prepare, so I recommend ordering it early rather than waiting until the end of your meal.

For the rolls, we tried the Toro Scallion Roll, Kobe Beef Roll, and Aurora Roll. All three were very well balanced, and I was especially impressed with the rice. The texture and rice-to-filling ratio were on point, which makes a huge difference when it comes to a good sushi roll. This is definitely a great spot if you enjoy trying a variety of specialty rolls.

For sashimi, we had the Super White Tuna, Yellowtail, Freshwater Eel, and Salmon. Everything we tried was fresh and tasted really good. I do wish the dinner AYCE menu allowed a higher limit on the sashimi pieces considering the dinner price, but regardless, the quality was definitely there.

The Miso Butter Mussels were also very good, savory, buttery, and packed with flavor.

One of my absolute favorites of the meal was the Hamachi Kama. If you enjoy grilled yellowtail collar, I definitely recommend ordering it. It was flavorful, satisfying, and especially enjoyable with a cold beer. 🍺

Overall, Kinoya Sushi & Izakaya is a great choice for all-you-can-eat sushi, especially if you come hungry and bring a group of friends. There’s enough variety to try a little bit of everything, from sashimi and specialty rolls to hot Japanese dishes. The quality of the fish and sushi rice stood out to me, and there were several dishes I would absolutely order again.

Favorites: Yellowtail Jalapeño, Hamachi Kama, Chawanmushi with Crab, Toro Scallion Roll, Kobe Beef Roll, and Aurora Roll. 🍣

“This is our 4tu time ordering from Wild Basil and having the food delivered. Our favorite neighborhood restaurant for over 30 years, China Taipei, closed in April. We REALLY miss it and have been searching for a replacement.
I think that we have found it! Our deliveries have arrived earlier than expected (which is great) and the food has been very good.👍 Ordering online is simple and the drivers have been very polite.
We sure miss the following items that you don’t serve - Scallion Pancakes, and Chicken or Shrimp Chop Suey, and free Fortune Cookies for dessert. Any chance you would ever consider adding any of them? 😉😋 (Especially Chow Mein!)
