The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the way it was served in small batches—it never felt like a typical buffet, and everything stayed fresh and inviting. The butternut squash lasagna ended up being one of the biggest hits of the night, even among the most devoted meat lovers in our group!

The drinks were fantastic, and the staff brought such great energy and friendliness that they helped keep the celebration fun all night long.

“Been to this nice restaurant many times and it’s always first class. Tonight my wife’s chicken was excellent. The wine was great. However, the Manhattan steak was not so good. The one that was brought out was extremely tough and even hard to cut into. Our lovely server offered to bring out a new one but I said I would fight through it. To her credit, she insisted on bringing out a new one and I asked for it to be Medallion cut. The replacement came out and should have been medium rare, but when I laid out the cuts it was simply very rare to raw with lots of fat as well. I simply refused to eat it and told her to just take it off the bill. To my surprise the wonderful Manager Dana immediately came over and admitted that they failed on the steak. He explained that they usually get great cuts from the provider, but recently not so much and he actually called the owner and told him they simply can’t be offering this kind of steak as this was not the first bad cut he has seen this evening. Dana did not charge me for the steak as well as the wine and offered a free desert. Dana did exactly what I’d expect a Manager to do in this caliber of a restaurant and that alone makes me want to come back again whichever we will do so!“

“I live in Avon and Northside is one of my go to places. They have a fantastic happy hour with Kat at the bar. Not only does she pour a great cocktail, bit is attentive and on the ball. She knows how to keep her customers happy. They should be thrilled to have her. The drinks are prefect and the food yummy. Better than most over the top expensive places in downtown Vail.“

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.“

“Love hanging out at the George! Any season throughout the year is a good time here. Great selection of beers and the redbull slushies are great too. Bar service is quick even when they get a little busy. The food at this bar is top notch. My favorite go to is definitely the duck and mushroom quesadilla. Its a great snack if your really hungry or a decent meal if not! Ski season Après The George is the place to be. Find it down the stairs and enjoy some damn good food and drinks.“

“It was a bit of a labyrinth getting through the hotel maze to find the restaurant, but worth it. Small but interesting menu. We liked the creative drink options and truly enjoyed the Alpine Sangria. The blackened grouper was delicious, and the wedge salad with pork rind was just right, not over dressed. We sat outside on the patio, and just as the sun went down and temperatures cooled, they turned on the fire pits to keep us comfortable. Our waitress Finn was cheerful and efficient, and our host even offered our dog a bowl of water. We really liked the place and will definitely return!“

The 2-star experience was mostly awful service... We only got our first drinks around 2 mins before we were given the cheque. Food was delivered wrong. Only saw the server once until we complained after food was delivered.

5-star experience was amazing the server was the best I've had in years. Charismatic, helpful, attentive. Pizza with honey wasn't a good decision. But was great food for everyone else.“

“I came to the Fireside Grill as part of package deal through the Nordic Center to go snowshoeing for several hours before capping the day off with a generous plate of wine and cheese AND dessert! The food was delicious and Lizzie took phenomenal care of me as I enjoyed my meal. Her kindness and attentiveness was much appreciated. I highly recommend this experience through the Nordic Center as well as the Fireside Grill for its excellent food and lovely staff.“

“Bully Ranch quickly became our absolute favorite restaurant in Vail — and we tried everything from the super trendy spots to the most expensive ones. The food here was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Prices were also very reasonable compared to everything else we tried in town. We didn't repeat a single restaurant in Vail... except for Bully Ranch. That says it all! Highly recommend!“

“I was pretty disappointed this season with the limited options this time. The food is served apparently only some days.. then there's no wait staff I guess anymore, and as much as this place suppose to be bumpin' for any apres ski time they decide to close at 4pm or so.. blew my mind.. absolutely the most prime real estate .. the way its ran I guarantee they're hitting less than 50% of its potential revenue! [It's a very obvious observation] no entertainment just self order line. Please be better.. make Vail resorts $$ so ppl don't need to pay $300 day for skiing“

“This place is a hidden gem, as it’s located away from the center of Vail village, inside of a mountain lodge. Spacious, rustic interior creates a cozy ambiance featuring floor to ceiling windows and a stone fireplace. The food is amazing - a combination of French and American mountain cuisine. The portions are big and great for sharing.“

“Cucina is such a hidden gem. I wish more people in Vail new about Cucina! The space is huge, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is incredibly fast and friendly—especially Salvatore and Tyler. “The veggie chili is very yummy and filling after a morning of skiing. Can add corn, onions, and hot sauce. They used to serve it over a baked potato too but sadly not anymore. There is also a quinoa/bean burger, but unknown if this is vegan. Items are only listed as vegetarian on the menu. They also sell bobo’s bars and a few other vegan snacks if you look.“

“We grabbed a window seat at Mountain Standard and it was the perfect spot to take in the snowy afternoon. After a long flight, the warm pimento cheese appetizer paired with a drink hit the spot. Comforting and exactly what we needed. We come back every time we're in Vail, and it never disappoints. Great atmosphere, great food, and a perfect way to settle into the mountains. “We have this experience two summers as we had a new waiter the first time but same waiter this time. Our order took over an hr to get and the waiter came back after 45 min wait to tell us our 15 month child menu was not available. How could they not know when we ordered from children's menu. Unexceptionable! Then after over hr food came but one did not receive her smash burger. That is inexcusable! Waiter then came back to apologize. The manager was very polite and comp our meal. We actually liked the food we finally got which is sad. We will not try it again from two experiences the same.“

“Me and my family visited Gessner last weekend for dinner while staying at Grand Hyatt. The ambiance is really nice, very classy with those mountain views, but the food was a bit hit and miss :(

We ordered the chicken breast, which I was really looking forward to. The meat quality was good, no doubt, but it was lacking that punch of flavor. it felt a bit bland, like they forgot to add something.

My wife got the pesto pasta, which was better, but still too dry for our liking. It had good flavor, but needed more sauce to make it perfect.

Service was excellent.

The presentation of dishes was nice, though, and the place is super clean and fancy.

The barista was very friendly, even when guests came in for ice cream, which is next door, she'd point them in the right direction and tell them to enjoy their ice cream. This place can get packed quickly, but afternoon in the summer are quite pleasant.“

“Such a fun experience all the way around. Having to take the Snow cat from the bottom of the hill to the restaurant is for itself. The restaurant is set up like a nice cabin and very cozy. Over the past two years, the menu options and quality have improved significantly.There is a good bar on the first floor, Bistro 14. This use to be a restaurant, but post-COVID, it is just a bar.“

“Service is a bit slow. Rachel, the bartender, was our waiter...she was working two jobs, but she is excellent. Our party of four enjoyed all of our food and the view from the deck cannot be beat! I had the Lemonade la coca, Hearts of palm ceviche and the Harvest burger. All were wonderful. I will order again!“
