“Thoroughly enjoyed the buffet of delicious food catered by Cimmini’s at their family wedding this weekend. Appetizers, pasta (including gluten free) and desserts were outstanding.“

“The food was excellent! Minestrone, beef tartare, risotto, and the short rib were all extremely flavorful, well presented, and featured well executed, unique takes on standard fare. The terra misu was out of this world! Mock tails were very tasty, and the service was friendly, knowledgeable and timely. The ambiance was fun and lively without being too boisterous. The only criticism I have is that the servings were pretty small, and even after 3 courses we left feeling a bit hungry.“

“My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Basta, and it was a truly wonderful experience. It's not often you find a restaurant that can impress a diverse group including my wife, my mother, and my mother-in-law, but Basta did so with ease.

We started our meal with a selection of appetizers that set a high bar for the rest of the evening. The burrata was incredibly fresh and creamy, a perfect complement to the rich, smoky flavor of the olives. But the real star was the focaccia bread—warm, airy, and with just the right amount of salt, it was impossible to stop at just one piece.

For our main courses, we chose two pizzas and a vegetable dish. The zucchini was a fantastic addition, with the fresh, crisp vegetable elevated by the vibrant basil romanesco and the satisfying crunch of the breadcrumbs. The clam pizza was a delightful surprise, with the briny clams and a hint of lemon perfectly balanced against the smoky, blistered crust from the wood-fired oven. The Daisy pizza was a testament to the restaurant's philosophy of using high-quality ingredients; simple yet perfect, with a wonderfully flavorful tomato sauce and creamy mozzarella.

To finish our meal, we decided to indulge in all of their desserts, and we were not disappointed. Each one was a perfect ending to our dinner. The Campfire vanilla ice cream had a unique, smoky sweetness that was balanced by the vibrant and refreshing orange and beet sorbet. The sweet corn ice cream was an unexpected and delicious highlight, while the rich chocolate budino with pistachio butter was pure decadence. And of course, the donuts were a warm, fluffy, and perfect final touch.

Basta’s combination of a warm, inviting atmosphere and truly incredible food made for a special and memorable night. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, adding to the overall great experience. We left feeling completely satisfied and already talking about when we could return. I highly recommend Basta for any occasion, whether it's a date night or a special family gathering.

Spaghetti and meatballs- classic It’s how I judge an Italian restaurant; if I don’t like their sauce I won’t be back. No worries! Perfect pasta and sauce! Tender delicious meatballs! “We eat at Carelli's for their spinach salad and eggplant Parmesan...always delicious! We were seated in the main dining room which we much prefer over the banquet room, at a table that seats four even though we were two. We enjoyed the extra space! I couldn't decide between two red wines and the server graciously offered me a sip of each to help me decide. No one has ever offered that before....it was very much appreciated. Five star experience on all accounts!“

“We recently held our son's and our new daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at Parma Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar and every detail was perfect! Emilio and Mike provided helpful guidance every step along the way and ensured that our event went smoothly. We had a large party (44 people) and they recommended that we hold our event in the heated patio area for more privacy which was a great call. Our amazing servers Julie and Ilona are top notch and didn’t miss a beat. From helping us set up/decorate the tables to taking our orders to promptly serving/clearing dishes after each course to ensuring that no one waited for beverages, their service was flawless! And the food! Everyone raved about how delicious each dish was. I forgot to take photos of all my dishes but included a few to show how beautiful/tasty they look/are! It's hard to pick a favorite dish since we ordered just about everything on the menu and it was all delicious! Great cocktails and wine list too! Salads were excellent as were the charcuterie options.

Service: we sat at the bar and loved hanging out with Jessica, the bartender.

“Came to lunch with family. Service was incredibly slow and the restaurant wasn't half-full. The food was fine - pasta dishes were much better than the sandwich one table member ordered. Overall, I was disappointed. We arrived at noon, our lunch order wasn't taken until 12:30 and I had to leave to return to work before our dessert arrived. I wouldn't recommend this place for working professionals until 2 hours lunches are your norm.“

That being said, the Canollis are a crime. Please fix the filling recipe. They taste like they are filled with frosting made of crisco and powdered sugar. Ricotta. Ricotta. Ricotta.“

I have mobility issues and couldn't go around the neighborhood to find it so the manager sent one of his employees to my house to find the order for me. They were pleasant, kind, and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my order was taken care of. Mici's gave me such good customer service, and I am so thankful to have them in my neighborhood.“
