“This was the first time my hudlsband and I ever had PF Chang's. They were having a large birthday party and a silent auction. It was very loud because of the two large parties. My husband ate the Pepper Steak and loved it. I tried the California roll. He enjoyed his dinner, mine was OK. We both however LOVED the soups. He had a bowl of egg drop and I enjoyed the best wonton soup I have ever had. We even ordered a bowl of the wonton to enjoy at home. I know when I go again all I need is the delicious won't ton soup.”

He was incredibly social and also very polite. They even brought out cookies and a candle for my friend’s birthday. Even better that we happened to come at the same time as Coach Spurrier for dinner. Overall great staff, amazing food, and great environment.”

“Well after seeing such great reviews for this restaurant. It has only been about a month and a half. And it shows, waitstaff was running around crazy to make sure everyone was accommodated.
Well its situated in a small strip of shops, and parking can be tricky as there are some popular venues and another restaurant there as well. We got there just at the right time, got a up front parking spot, and the last booth. they line the outer area with booths, and have tables in the middle.
Took a couple minutes for our server to get caught up, but we had some amazing appetizers, sushi and dessert was amazing too!! Sushi was amazing, presentation was awesome, and the appetizers came out hot, and the only thing i would add for the appetizers is maybe having different dipping sauces for some of them, 3 different appetizers and the same sauce for all 3.used to something a little different in that aspect, just a suggestion. The appetizers were amazing without sauce..

“We have become repeat customers and decided this is our new favorite sushi and ramen place! Service: the staff is always friendly and attentive, took out allergy concern very seriously and double checked everything with the chefs. Food: the quality is consistent, the ramen portions are generous, and I appreciate the sushi rolls all have distinct flavors. I personally love the takoyaki which have come out fresh and piping hot every time. Atmosphere: anime posters on the walls, very tidy table and chairs layout, lighting that isnt too bright or too dim. The bathrooms are also very clean.”

“Las Carretas has been my go to restaurant in Gainesville for 2 years now! But this recent experience shows just how amazing the staff really is. Saturday I suspected I lost a diamond ring at one of the booths. I called Sunday and left my number in case something showed up. I wasn’t hopeful I’d be getting a call back. On Wednesday I got a call from Javi notifying me they found a ring. Turns out, It was my ring !! 😭🥹 I love the food, drinks, and atmosphere of this restaurant but the people who work here are truly great people. Thank you Las Carretas staff for being honest and amazing at what you do. 🫶🏼”

They made us and our guests feel so welcome and taken care of, handling everything with such warmth and professionalism. “A little disappointed because I haven’t eaten here in a little over a year and today it was the worst meal I’ve eaten in a while. The pink sauce was watery and tasted absolutely horrendous, the pickles tasted like they were dumped in the box with a spoon of cooking oil, and if that wasn’t enough, the cashier didn’t even pay attention to what was ordered and instead thrown a “you never ordered that” remark. Whatever you changed, please fix it because I crave your food so much and it would be a shame not to come back because the quality was bad. Other than this ONE incident; big milks has been my favorite summertime spot for the past three years. On point until this one time but I have faith that big mills will get it fixed and back on track. Their fried pickles are my favorite combined with their ice cold sweet and tart frozen strawberry lemonade.”

“Ford's garage fries, crispy yet soft on the inside. Flaky and peppery with a perfect balance of salt to compliment it. Hard to get on point fries, however these people accomplished it. The burger is larger than you would expect from a visual standpoint. It has fresh ingredients. I had the bison instead of the standard beef. It's freshly ground instead of ground beef. So as opposed to the patties being frozen coming in it's slabs of meat that they grind and then cook. The medium well option that I went with I recommend highly. They seared it on the outside and cooked at medium on the inside. The char has good flavor to it and the barbecue sauce has a very nice marriage with the cheddar cheese and the applewood smoked bacon. The romaine lettuce adds a nice touch on the bottom of the burger instead of the top. It's overall a very hard Burger to beat by any other restaurant. I very strongly recommend Ford's garage to any nostalgic burger lover.”

The honey balsamic glaze was delicious. I drank a glass of Moscato with my meal. I had flan inhouse and took home tiramisu. The waitress Sharmenda was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend the shrimp appetizer; it was packed with flavor. Our waitress was really attentive, and the whole restaurant was very clean and comfortable. The only miss was the Parmesan-crusted chicken—our daughter says it was just okay, so maybe skip that one. Overall, a great experience!”

There is a wide variety of different types of food to choose from! (I.e: soups, empanadas—better than Mi Apá!—chorizo (sausage), arepas, sandwiches, and MORE!) there are also bakery items, like Flan, Arroz Con Leche (rice pudding), and so much more. I recommend the Beef Empanadas, Chorizo & Cheese empanadas, and try their Arepas! If you want something sweet they sell “Chocolatina Jets” which are fun-sized chocolate bars or the Cocosette! This is a great place and I’ve always had a great experience here with food and service”

The wine was good not spectacular, but enjoyable, the food was delicious but for this 85-year-old appetite way too much food. The three ladies across from us having her girls night out made the whole evening very special. Unfortunately, the old man next to my daughter was negative about everything. Luckily, I was not seated next to him. Because I have no tolerance for people like that. according to my daughter, she enjoyed herself, so that’s all that matters. The service is top notch and our only complaint is that they dont open till 1 and they are closed on Monday. I have to go all weekend and then Monday too without my Dilla's. The sauces were fresh and bright and very flavorful! Lamb kebab and falafel were tender and spiced well. Lettuces and vegetables were fresh and crisp. I just wish I could have tried everything- I don't think I would have been disappointed! Eat outside if the weather permits. Oh! “Ford's garage fries, crispy yet soft on the inside. Flaky and peppery with a perfect balance of salt to compliment it. Hard to get on point fries, however these people accomplished it. The burger is larger than you would expect from a visual standpoint. It has fresh ingredients. I had the bison instead of the standard beef. It's freshly ground instead of ground beef. So as opposed to the patties being frozen coming in it's slabs of meat that they grind and then cook. The medium well option that I went with I recommend highly. They seared it on the outside and cooked at medium on the inside. The char has good flavor to it and the barbecue sauce has a very nice marriage with the cheddar cheese and the applewood smoked bacon. The romaine lettuce adds a nice touch on the bottom of the burger instead of the top. It's overall a very hard Burger to beat by any other restaurant. I very strongly recommend Ford's garage to any nostalgic burger lover.”

“Las Carretas has been my go to restaurant in Gainesville for 2 years now! But this recent experience shows just how amazing the staff really is. Saturday I suspected I lost a diamond ring at one of the booths. I called Sunday and left my number in case something showed up. I wasn’t hopeful I’d be getting a call back. On Wednesday I got a call from Javi notifying me they found a ring. Turns out, It was my ring !! 😭🥹 I love the food, drinks, and atmosphere of this restaurant but the people who work here are truly great people.
