“JL’s has been a staple to my Navy family since the early seventies. We moved from Guantánamo Bay Cuba to Jacksonville.. Dad 95 years old and I had another great dinner! Liz, took care of us tonight, she went over and beyond the call of duty! I told her I wanted to get a new t-shirt when we finished dinner. We place our order and next thing I know she brings out several T-shirts for me to choose from! That’s, that extra little touch that goes a long way!“

The cooks, servers, and staff were, as always, quick, thorough, and the food was delish. Ibelieve I've had nearly everything on their menu now and it never is less than excellent! “It's all about Matt! Food: My husband and I had Fried Catfish and Cajun fries. Great! Place: Very nice. Pleasant atmosphere. Service: Extraordinary! Server: Matt. This is where I get into details. Everything about this place was pretty much like any restaurant we have eaten at. But, the service is what separates one location from another. Our server Matt was the point man on this and he has it in spades. He never missed a beat. He gave his real recommendations on what dishes are good and which ones are great. He kept our glasses filled, constantly making sure our table was clean. Always stopping by to make sure we were fine without being overbearing. He paid close attention to what everyone (we were a table of 8) wanted. And the whole time he smiled and presented himself as someone who loves their job. I would go back to Cajun Crab just for him. Great service. He is why I give this place a 5-star. Thank you Matt.“

“Tried Flying Fish Taphouse on a Saturday evening. Opted for outdoor seating, which the weather was great for and we had the added bonus of a live musician. Had Hannah as a server and she was amazing, super friendly, and quick with responding to the needs of the table throughout the evening. The food and drinks were great. Would definitely recommend trying.“

“We ate here for a late dinner. We ate a gyro and shrimp fettuccine alfredo. I prefer to over season and add more salt when I prepare my food at home. Still, the food here is really good not over seasoned or salty was delicious after I added some table salt. Not bad at all... clean and relaxing atmosphere and great customer service. At the end the girl behind the counter asked me how was it and I really appreciated how attentive she was. I will visit again I will try and kabobs next time.“

“Palm’s Fish Camp exceeded everyone in the group’s expectations. They welcome us, all 54 of us, with live music and good food. They accommodated for all of our needs including one of us with a horrible sea food allergy. Everything went so smoothly. We all had an amazing time. We came on a great night 2 for 1 drink special so we tried some holiday drinks ks the Rudolph old fashione with maple syrup and the Mistletoe margarita with cranberry and pomegranate. The old fashion was good and strong with cherries and orange segments. The margarita was refreshing a bit tart in a great way very good. We ordered the Mahi blacked platter with baked potato and creamed corn along with shrimp cocktail and fried green tomatoes. The shrimp was prepared very well and the cocktail sauce chilled and flavorful. The Mahi was fresh and delicious. All the apps and sides were good but wow that creamed corn was specially delicious with a hint of bacon. The atmosphere was lovely clean with holiday music. Nice salad bar and seating areas as well as a nice bar to sit and watch a game. After dinner we sat at the bar and chatted with the owner and other patrons. Overall a really lovely place highly recommend for the charm and sweet service. Everyone was very welcoming.“

“One year ago we lost a very dear friend, co-worker, family member and loved one! We went to seasons 52 to celebrate his life and brought with us (his ashes). The staff at seasons 52 town center Jacksonville Florida was amazing and accepted the situation as if he was there! From the bar tender Michael who served him a drink to the receptionist who Renee who made us fell very welcome and treated our friend with respect and dignity to our waiter Blake who also went the extra mile to make our experience exceptional! We would like to recognize these people for helping us make our friends night out so very special we will be back every year because of them and the service, not to mention the food was amazing! “OMG this was amazing! I thought it was just going to be some cheap takeout place when we drove by based on the building, but decided to give it a try. It's like super fresh perfectly seasoned fish for fast food prices. I don't get it. Way better than any fish I've ever had before. The Sandollar has been a favorite for quite a while, but no more. Menu has been shortened quite a bit. No 2 choice seafood combos and platter is out of sight.“

“Everything here is made fresh to order. The staff is very friendly, I have only tried there fried gizzards,shrimp fish and wings they were all great. I highly recommend this place for a snack or a late night meal if you don't feel like cooking“
