“I don’t write reviews much at all. But upon trying this place for the first time and being a quarter into my meal I just had to write one. The presentation (especially getting it delivered for takeout) went above and beyond. My picture I’ll provide probably won’t do it justice. I ordered the 30 piece Dragon Tempura, Tori, and Heaven rolls. All of them were excellent. All in all an 11/10 would definitely recommend to a sushi lover. Great job guys“

“Hiyakawa went above and beyond what was expected. My husband is a huge sushi lover, and me, not as much; but it was a nice date night for him, so I figured I’d get some gyoza and the wagyu and egg nigiri and be perfectly happy. Well, I was about to be SO impressed. We were sat at the sushi bar, and had the most amazing service from one of the sushi chefs. After we put in our order he overheard my husband thanking me for bringing him and the sushi chef realized I wasn’t much of a raw fish gal… he made it his goal to have me try something new that he thought would help bridge the gap. He absolutely astounded. I LOVED the nigiri he had me try so much and was overall so impressed with the passion and love that goes into the craft there. My husband said it has ruined all other sushi for him, lol. Amazing and so grateful we chose this place in a city full of excellent restaurants.“

“I had an excellent experience. The atmosphere was great, but what really stood out was the service. Fabiola was very attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the entire visit.

And I especially have to highlight LUISA — her drinks were AMAZING. You can really tell how much talent and dedication she puts into every cocktail. Every drink was perfectly made, with incredible flavor and presentation. Honestly, some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. Luisa truly made the experience even more special, and I would definitely come back mainly for her drinks. Highly recommend trying anything made by her.“

“We had a wonderful lunch at Sushi Sake Miami Springs with my wife and another couple, who are also friends and Miami Springs residents. Everything was excellent, the food, the service, and the overall value.

Marianna took great care of us and made the experience even better with her friendly and attentive service. The servings were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I am always especially careful when eating raw fish, but everything we ordered tasted fresh, well prepared, and of excellent quality.

We are lucky to have a place like Sushi Sake right here in Miami Springs, so close to home. We will definitely be back!“

“This is my favorite sushi restaurant in the US. I’ve lived in NYC, LA, Miami and this is the closest you’ll get to an authentic Japanese experience and setting. I lived in Brickell and find myself here once a week. Chef Takashi is an accomplished chef who prefers to operate in an intimate setting. He procures his Salmon from Scotland and his Tuna from Japan. No bad cuts, rice is perfect always. Every dish is excellent - sushi but also the salads and the hot dishes (gyu don, curry chicken, salmon belly). The setting feels like a small Japanese market where you’re surrounded by Japanese snacks and food supplies.“

The food is phenomenal, the ambiance, service and attention to detail were on point; all and everyone of the dishes were delicious and beautiful works of art, not too many that make you feel stuffed but more than enough so you leave satisfied. “I've been meaning to try Sushi Corner after reading many reviews about how tasty and affordable this restaurant is, finding all these reviews to be completely true! This hole in the wall gem of West Kendall is well worth your time to try! I came in with my boyfriend last night to their small no frills location and was immediately greeted by our server who was very attentive throughout our whole meal. It's true that they do serve everything using plastic ware which to me doesn't matter at all. I care about the quality of food and the food is definitely top notch! My boyfriend and I decided to order various menu items to share. I started with a hot bowl of Miso Soup $2 which was good; loved the portion which I felt was more than most places. Next we had the Rainbow Roll $10 (California roll topped w/various fish) which was glaringly fresh and came out beautifully. The Sexy Roll $10 (fish tempura, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, rolled w/soy paper, tempura flakes, eel sauce, spicy mayo) was by far my favorite just because of all the incredible flavors in it. The Florida Roll $9 (spicy conch, cucumber, masago) definitely surprised me with its spice level and amount of conch within it. Lastly, we ordered the Sushi Corner Fried Rice $8 (chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and masago) which ultimately surprised me in portion and tastiness. The fried rice isn't over done with soy sauce so it remains tasting light though its also savory because of a smoky flavor. So tasty! Can't wait to try your other roles and highly recommend to anyone in the area as I think they also deliver!“

“I honestly have no words to describe this place. This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in Miami!!!!!!!!

Everything was exceptional, from the service to the quality of every dish. The owner personally came to check in, which made the experience feel even more special.

The kampachi sashimi was hands down my number one favorite, absolutely out of this world. We also loved the tempura shrimp, and the fresh wasabi prepared at the table really shows the level of care and quality.

We finished with a matcha cake, and honestly, I couldn’t pick a favorite because everything was incredible. The price was also more than fair for the quality.

“I recently went to this sushi spot in South Miami, and I’m still thinking about it. From the moment we sat down, everything just felt right. The owner even came out personally to check on us, making sure we got everything we ordered and asking for feedback, which made the whole experience feel really thoughtful and welcoming.

We ordered a mix of dishes, including Hamachi Crudo, spicy tuna crispy rice, the Hamachi Love Me roll, Crazy Roll, and the Acevichado roll, and honestly, every single thing was delicious. The Hamachi Crudo was my absolute favorite. I loved it so much I think I had three orders of it.

But the real surprise of the night was the carrot cake. I am a huge carrot cake fan, and this one completely blew me away. It was easily one of the best I have ever had, and it was so good I had to get one to go.

On top of all that, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing, which made the whole night even better.

“We went there for my birthday and we loved it! The restaurant's ambience was so inviting and upscale, food was very interesting and delicious, and drinks were pretty! We loved crispy rice spicy tuna- very crispy, and rock shrimps were great which made us order rock shrimp roll( my favorite)! Drinks were a little strange- fortune teller was very specific, i was expecting more whisky flavor, but it tasted more sour. The restaurant is very beautiful, love it that it's outside but feels like you are in Japanese garden! We will be back!!!“

From the personalized welcome card to the intimate setting, the perfectly curated playlist, and the thoughtful gift at the end — everything feels intentional and beautifully executed. We also did the wine pairing and every dish was mouthwatering to say the LEAST.
