“We're visiting Miami and wanted to try Cuban food..Esquina Cubana didn't disappoint. My husband ordered the special combo the croquettes , fried yuca and those empanadas soooo good. I ordered the fried snapper, the snapper was seasoned just right and the rice was yummy. Our server Cristian was great , very attentive. All I can saw is chef' s kiss...10/10.“

“Amazing experience with Gaston. My wife and I loved the live music that drew us to dine in. Gaston was so friendly and recommended the beef empanadas and ropa vieja, which were delicious. The restaurant is cute and not too loud compared to others nearby with a party vibe. La Canita is the perfect spot for a romantic night out and the hostesses are not pushy like others down Ocean Bld. Highly recommend!!“

“First tried this cafe in 2023 when I was on the hunt for an authentic Cuban sandwich. The food and coffee were so good that we had to return this time around and again it failed to disappoint. Great selection of food, fast and attentive service, I would highly recommend (have been 3 times this trip!!).“

“After exploring North Beach and searching for Cuban food in the area, we stopped in for a late afternoon lunch. The restaurant is nicely tucked away on the second floor of a well-appointed building and feels comfortable and inviting, with a quiet, homey vibe.
On to the food, the croquetas were delicious, and the guava shake tasted refreshingly homemade. The churrasco (steak) with its lovely sauce, along with the masas de puerco (pork chunks), were very tasty and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The side orders of rice, maduros, and beans were equally satisfying.

Our server was very attentive, and we even received a visit from the owner to make sure everything was going well, which it definitely was. Having access to the beach path after our meal was a beautiful way to end the visit. Thank you!“

“💕 What a beautiful peaceful elegant Atmosphere! The skillet breakfast was a delicious and safe Gluten free option (separate fryer)! My partner had the Cuban flavor breakfast.
Our waitress, Agustina was knowledgeable on food options and very attentive with a smile at all times. Her trainee waitress Josefa was friendly & kind .
And yes! Unlimited Mimosas for excellent price ( I had all flavors😃).
My future goal is to stay at this elegant hotel owned by one of the role model “Latino” couple Gloria & Emilio Estefan! 🥰“

“Beautiful setting- fantastic food and great service. But please, though I love dogs and have my own, I am not expecting everyone else to dine with them sitting at the next table... pets of any kind at a dinner table with their heads on the table-- not what I want to see while I enjoy my meal.“

“After a lot of walking and wanting to find a local spot for empanadas, Google brought me here and then I saw the roast pork being ordered so I got in the sandwich form a real cubano , and the Inca Kola was highly recommended a real Peruvian drink very similar to champagne cola. Both definitely a must and I'll be back one more time before I leave. The employees are a treat as well!“
