“Had an amazing late lunch at News Cafe. It was just the thing to start off my Miami trip! Had the Chicken Paillard which came in a very generous portion with roasted potatoes and an arugula salad and it was super tasty and fresh. “Amazing food and perfect atmosphere! We sat on the upper patio — right next to the stage — and had a great view of the live music. The service was fantastic (thank you Edwin!!!). The New Yorker (whiskey sour) was one of the best cocktails I've ever had (old fashioned was delicious, too.) We had a long, leisurely meal and enjoyed every second of it. Highly recommend!“

“Good sandwiches and Cuban bowls! We got the Chorizo Serrano sandwich, the Lechon sandwich, and a pulled pork bowl. I also got a smoothie, which was really good! We got our stuff to-go, but they had a little bit of seating if you wanted to stay and eat. I will say, Google Maps says the entrance to this place is on Collins Ave, but it’s actually on 11th St, just as a note for others.“

“I ate here on Sunday and the food was amazing, but the service truly stood out. From the moment we walked in, both servers were so genuine and welcoming. One spoke English and the other spoke Spanish, which was perfect since two people in our group only spoke Spanish. They made us feel very comfortable and taken care of the entire time. They also made me the best latte I’ve ever had! The young waitress and I also had a great conversation about New York lol, which made the experience feel even more personal and friendly. Definitely coming back and hoping for another great experience. 10/10. Will be back when I land in Miami next month“

“If you’re staying in midbeach and looking for delicious Cuban food, you’ve found it! I’m in Miami for one day, and we are having dinner at a fancier restaurant. I was looking for an authentic, hole in the wall place- and this is it. I’ll be talking about the beef empanadas and chicken empanadas to anyone that will listen for years to come. It’s a few blocks off of Collins and definitely worth the short walk.“

Food Highlights:
• Straight Bangin’ Chicken Wings – Crispy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. The side of hot sauce added a nice kick, making them a must-try.
• Truffle Parmesan Fries – Light, crispy, and generously topped with Parmesan and truffle seasoning. The truffle garlic aioli was a perfect complement.
• Smash Burger – A simple yet flavorful burger with juicy smash patties, melted American cheese, and a soft bun. Comfort food done right!

She made great recommendations on both drinks and food and constantly checked back to make sure we were happy and enjoying everything. “Amazing service, amazing food! We often stay at a hotel near by and eat here at least a few times every trip. My favorite dinner meal is the churrasco skirt steak with chimichurri and shrimp. Superb! Also, love their lemonade and mango shake. Breakfast is also great. Will be coming back here every time!“
