“One of my all time favorites in Miami.
You cannot go wrong with any of the pasta dishes. We ordered a few but I only got a picture of the white pomodoro vongole, which was delicious. Very fresh without being too garlicky or heavy on the stomach. There pasta is always fresh and would taste great without any sauce. The red sauces (their specialty I believe) just make it all that much better.
My favorite salad of all time is their tricolore salad, I would come here just to have this and one of their cocktails. They have proper cocktails, well balanced and with premium liquors and ingredients.
The inside section is beautiful but be warned it is freezing inside, bring a sweater.
The outside while very pleasantly ventilated with fans everywhere is nice however is missing that beautiful design and ambiance felt inside.“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

From the warm atmosphere to the unforgettable flavors, everything about the experience was exceptional. The plate of pasta I had on that first visit was so memorable, it’s still the background on my phone — and I’ve made multiple trips to Miami just to come back and enjoy it again. The quality has never wavered. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.“

“First time at Dolce. We live just north of the restaurant and saw advertising on social media. The restaurant is having some remodeling done so I was a little afraid that our date night would go sour. Not the case! Everyone from the manager, bartender & server were as polite and professional as they come! The food was incredible and the price was very affordable. It was a great night for us!“

“Pomp and circumstance are not always indicative of service and value, but sometimes they are willing bedfellows. Candidly, I am not a big drinker or scene guy, so my feedback is based mostly on how we were treated and the vibes. The NYC lounge was filling quickly on a busy Thursday, but we decided to wing it without a reservation. A friendly server told us we could sit on the central couches, which we gladly accepted. Shortly thereafter, the manager, Daniele Balsano, approached us calmly and apologetically, regretting that the server was unaware of a previous reservation. In short order, he separated a four-top along the street-facing windows to be sure we had a place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. No belittling or sense of entitlement, just prompt, polite, and professional hospitality that manifested results versus excuses. Daniele was attentive throughout with his charming accent, dapper appearance, and warm demeanor. Furthermore, Daniele stopped us on the way out to personally apologize for the seating mishap, and even gave us his business card with his personal phone number, insisting that we reach out next time we wanted to visit. I cannot speak to the libations, but we ended up befriending the couple next to us and had a wonderful conversation. I can speak to the tasty snack trio they bring for all guests, which is a nice tip of the old New York hat to Bemelmans across the street. So, all things considered, while the aesthetic and prices are on par for similar places, the value is readily apparent because you feel welcomed and appreciated by way of the top-notch service. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and very professional. I ordered the seafood pasta, which was absolutely delicious, made with super fresh ingredients and full of authentic Mediterranean flavor. The fried calamari were light, crispy, and perfectly cooked.
