Restaurants in Covington

“Passing through Covington and was very happy we decided to have dinner here! For starters, we got the foxy balls which is a really flavorful fish cake, the portions were big and satisfying. We then had their special for a limited time, Suya Beef and Suya Chicken wings. The flavors are on point! Both beef and chicken were seasoned so good, the chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It has an enjoyable heat, perfect amount of spice. Even the cucumbers and plantains were seasoned well, everything on the plate was amazing. They are definitely worth it. The prices are very affordable too considering the quality and the portion you’re getting. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area again! ❤️”

“This is a great local spot on the square to relax, get a drink, and unwind.
The pizza was our favorite part. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness, and the crust was perfectly crunchy and not too charred.
The martini was strong, and they were all for giving a couple extra olives.
Highly recommend stopping by.”

“I loveee dining here I usually have Cristina as my bartender and she is the sweetest!! And don’t get me started on the food😍😍😍 my favorite is the chicken & waffles and the buffalo Mac & cheese !! 10/10 would recommend”

“A nice little restaurant nestled in the downtown Covington area. Though the building seems historic, it was nicely decorated with a modern design. It is so nice to enjoy time with friends and even a date night with this environment. My friend and I both enjoyed our dishes. Though I can only speak on a few items, I can say that it is a very restaurant to eat at. It is levels above average and I know you can enjoy a nice experience here too.

Pecan crusted chicken 4/5 - Very beautiful and crunchy skin on top of a bed of lovely mashed potatoes and green beans. It may not have been the best fried chicken in the world, but it sure was very well done. Nothing out of this world, but very good enough to really enjoy. I don't believe they have this on the menu anymore, but it was definitely delicious.”

“Good sushi and good service!”

“Good food. great service. remember they just opened. give it a little time to get things rolling right. loved it.”

It’s roasted in house by Jason, and the staff are students of how to make the best cup of coffee, all the way down to the science of how flavors and acidity and milk and cream and everything works. The owners and staff are so hospitable— you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Everything is clean and gorgeous.”

“I wanted to take the time to specifically thank Jayla (I could have her name wrong) and Isaiah for their kindness! We were there late and the store was busy and even though our order required them to be there way past closing, their kindness and customer service never wavered! I’m a small business owners and I would employ 100 people just like them. The manager on duty was also very kind and probably taken off guard by me calling to compliment them rather than complain! Y’all have a wonderful team.”

“My job had Los Monchies Mexican Cuisine food truck come out on Friday. The stag were so nice and friendly. The food was amazing!I had the Mexican Hot Dog, which was a plump All Beef frank, wrapped in bacon and topped with onions, chilis, tomatoes & cilantro.Everything blended well together. Also had the Chorizo Nachos, while I was expecting/hoping for queso blanco, they serve it with the yellow nacho cheese, which isn’t bad, but doesn’t ring authenticity. But they use fresh jalapeños instead of pickled which is a blessing, and they top it with a hearty amount of chorizo. All in all, was very happy with what I got for $17”

“Great experience- our first time trying it out. Food was delicious and great customer service !”

“OH MY GOSH!!! These plain chicken wings were so good that if this store were next to a Popeyes they would likely shut the Popeyes down ,yes the chicken was just that good, this is the second time I've had the plain wings here the first time I though mabey it was a fluke so I gotta try it again to be sure I did and oh my gosh they were good, this location and there is another location near Braselton Ga thats right at Hwy 211 and interstate 85 I think it's in a chevron that Krispy Crunchy chicken was so good and juicy I had to ask the lady who made it, you know how the drum part of the wing is white meat and sometimes it can be dry, well not with these wings the meat was moist and good even after being refrigerated for a day, to me Popeyes loses something after being refrigerated, but not these wings. I've been meaning to write a good review on this chicken for such a long time now but I work for a living and it just kept slipping by me but the thought always stayed in my mind the chicken is just that good, finally google asked how was the chicken and here we are they ge an AAAAA+”

“I recently had a great experience at Chicken Salad Chick. Amanda, the cashier, was incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. She provided exceptional customer service and was attentive to everyone in the dining room.

For the first time at this location, I was even offered samples of two chicken salad flavors I had never tried before, which I really appreciated. Amanda helped me and a to-go order while also handling a customer complaint ahead of me with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Employees like Amanda make a lasting impression. Management should definitely hold on to her, she's a tremendous asset to the team!”
