“Nanding’s Bakery is delicious and has the sweetest service. I walked in a few minutes before closed (I just wanted to see! Sorry). I was happily greeted by a gentleman and he was so nice! I purchased an ube Enymada- sweet bread filled with ube and it was soooooo delicious! Reasonable pricing as well!“

“I enjoyed staying at Halepuna Waikīkī by Halekulani. Everything was perfect during our stay with my sister. 3 elevators in the lobby so you never wait. Close to restaurants, bars and shops. Not far from the beach for about less 5 minutes. The staff is very kind and professional. I recommend that chic hotel for everything 💙“

“I’m not a huge scone person so I haven’t tried this place despite living down the street for years. Delicious! The chocolate chip scone is more like a biscuit it’s so buttery and delicious, the texture is perfect and it’s not overly sweet like most breakfast pastry. Will definitely be returning to this tiny local bakery!“

“This Patisserie has become my very favorite place to treat myself. Not that anyone needs an excuse to be nice to oneself! Favorites include: (sweets) chocolate treasure box, plum and calamansi brioche, lychee pineapple bun, pumpkin crunch, fruit tarts, ALL their cookies (savory) parmessan mushroom balsamic bun, potato (chowder) bun. Love how Baker Cristina and team create innovative and delicious treats showcasing an Asian influence. Open M - F. Best to get their early cause when they sell out... they sell out for the day!“

“I treated myself on my birthday and bought their ulu banana bread and a lemon poppyseed bread that came with a blueberry compote. Everything was absolutely delicious, nicely packaged and the woman (Maile?) who helped me was very pleasant. The baked goods are pricey and I doubt I would spend that much money every week, but they use quality ingredients that are themselves expensive. I highly recommend trying the products from this bakery.“

“I can’t say enough about how incredible this company is! I was extremely stressed this past week trying to figure out party plans for my niece’s 1st birthday knowing it would all fall on my aging parents and myself to get everything done and paid for. I figured we could just forego the cake since I didn’t want to spend a lot on cake alone. Day of the party, I decided to get one anyway, but of course, every nice cake shop were unable to make something day of. Luckily, I called one more bakery. I saw great reviews for We Heart Cake Company and they were not lying! My experience with the excellent service and professionalism of this company started with the phone conversation. Although they expressed they did not have full size cakes available, they were able to make a customized petit cake before the shop closed in an hour and a half. It turned out to be way better than I and my family could have hoped for! It was absolutely beautiful and although it was a smaller cake, I would have definitely paid more for it considering the amount of detail they put into it in the time frame given! Thank you, We Heart Cake Company! You made this stressed out auntie very happy and relieved :) Mahalo!“

“Best bakery in honolulu. They’re OPEN when all the others aren’t! We got the curry pan and a few other things. Used to go to BRUG but will only go here from now on! “Stopped by and picked up a cream bun, a coconut cream bun, and some cookies for later. The cream bun and coconut cream bun were generously filled with cream and tasted fresh and delicious.
The cookies were delicious and addictively crunchy. The chocolate chip cookies were full of nuts, chocolate, and toasted coconut while the small pecan sandies had a delicate toothsome hint of sweetness.

“Buy a sweet for your sweetie.
This is a great place for a mid day, mid week date. It was quiet and not crowded. The noise level was good for a soft conversation. This being said, if you are in a relationship now is the time to slow down have a tea and a pastry and talk about the future.
Some of the nice parts of this place is that it's enclosed, has air conditioning and no birds running around eyeballing your food.(You know what I mean)
The food is good and at a level that will keep you coming back. This pastry is far superior to Liliha bakery, don't go there come here. This food is not as good as Patisserie La Palme D'or. But! It is still worth a visit and a return visit.
So have a date day and treat your sweet to something sweaty.... Do mine the auto incorrect.“

“Everything about this place is adorable. You can watch them make mochi, they have a ton of variety (go early - we went at 9:20am on a Saturday), wonderful sweet staff and great packaging. The Peanut butter mochi is as 10 stars - would walk there again for that alone. The butter mochi & chocolate chip brownie butter mochi was also amazing. Would highly recommend!“

“The staff at Hokulani Bake Shop worked a miracle for me... I was in a bind 6 days before my sister's surprise bridal shower and they graciously took my order and saved the day!! The cake was beautiful and tasted so good!!! Thank you SO much!!“
“I was able to order the gingerbread kane and wahine cookies on the last day they accepted orders. I was not sure what to do, but the person who helped us was so patient and kind. I also highly recommend their oatcakes and I wish they still sold them at COSTCO because they are always sold out at the 7-11 stores.“
“It’s great to be back at Zippy’s again after being away from Hawaii for so long. This restaurant is clean, well-maintained and staffed with friendly servers. The hot saimin was wonderful, a reminder of those carefree days long ago. My companions loved their Korean chicken chili, zip pac deluxe and beef stew. After dining out at fancy eateries everyday during this visit, it’s refreshing to return to simple, unpretentious comfort food.“
“They make the best tea cookies that I’ve tried so far on Oahu (if you have a recommendation of a better place I would love to know). The workers here are fast and with not so many different items for sale (tea cookies, almond cookies, rice cakes) it doesn’t take long and am usually done and out with the goods in no time.“
