“Honestly, such a gem in Kaimuki. You might be paying $3 more compared to grocery store prices for a much higher quality loaf of bread. You do have to pay and order in advance and they sell out quickly, so plan ahead! I’ve been ordering from them for about two months now and I’m still making my way through their options. So far haven’t had one type I haven’t loved but my favorite is still the olive slab!“

“I love 85 degrees bakery cafe, ever since I got to go in the mainland, and I'm so happy they're here in Hawaii. All the baked bread and cakes, as well as drinks are yummy. Very nice and attentive staff. The store is neat and clean inside. The only wish I have is for them to increase a variety of bread they have. But I am a regular customer and I will continue to go.

Kid-friendliness: I don't think there is any special accommodations for keiki. I usually keep them very close to me to make sure they don't touch any of the breads.“

“They make the best tea cookies that I’ve tried so far on Oahu (if you have a recommendation of a better place I would love to know). The workers here are fast and with not so many different items for sale (tea cookies, almond cookies, rice cakes) it doesn’t take long and am usually done and out with the goods in no time.“

I was extremely stressed this past week trying to figure out party plans for my niece’s 1st birthday knowing it would all fall on my aging parents and myself to get everything done and paid for. I saw great reviews for We Heart Cake Company and they were not lying! My experience with the excellent service and professionalism of this company started with the phone conversation. Although they expressed they did not have full size cakes available, they were able to make a customized petit cake before the shop closed in an hour and a half. It turned out to be way better than I and my family could have hoped for! It was absolutely beautiful and although it was a smaller cake, I would have definitely paid more for it considering the amount of detail they put into it in the time frame given!
