“finally visited Breadshop after hearing so many people rave about it, and truly exceeded all of my expectations! for our first time, we ordered the Brioche, Mango Cheesecake Brioche Tart, and Taegu Spinach Manchego Croissant. Everything tasted truly divine and the flavour profiles were also very unique and harmonious. The texture of the bread and the pastries were perfect and we will definitely be back soon to try other breads and pastries! There's a small parking lot with the first hour of parking free, as well as a few tables and chairs in the shade which were convenient. The online ordering process was smooth and easy, and an email notification was sent when my order was ready for pickup. Incredible experience all-round at Breadshop and this bakery will definitely be on my regular rotation 🥰😌🩷“

“Nanding's is a local institution. People have been coming to their stores since they were kids, particularly for their Spanish Rolls.

This is not the original location, but it's definitely a welcome addition to their list of locations since the other ones are on the other side of the island. This one is located next-door to Zippy's Kapahulu. There are a few parking stalls on the side of the building along with ample street parking if the stalls are full.

As I alluded to, my go to order is a couple dozen of the Spanish rolls. Every other time I get there, I have to wait around 5 to 10 minutes for the rolls, but I am not at all upset by this because it means that they're coming to me fresh and hot out of the oven.

Another thing to know is that everything here is extremely affordable . I can't remember a time that I walked out of here spending more than $20.

“I enjoyed staying at Halepuna Waikīkī by Halekulani. Everything was perfect during our stay with my sister. 3 elevators in the lobby so you never wait. Close to restaurants, bars and shops. Not far from the beach for about less 5 minutes. The staff is very kind and professional. I recommend that chic hotel for everything 💙“

“I stumbled upon this spot after a hefty meal at Totoya next door, and it turned out to be a great little find. I’m very picky when it comes to desserts, but the lemon bar here? Easily one of the best I’ve had. Not overly sweet (which is huge for me) and it would've paired perfectly with a cup of tea or coffee.

They also had a pretty wide selection of scones. I went with the peach, but honestly, I couldn't detect much peach, so I’d probably skip those next time.

That said, prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. If you’re in the area, this place is definitely worth a quick stop—just don’t forget to bring cash.“

“This Patisserie has become my very favorite place to treat myself. Not that anyone needs an excuse to be nice to oneself! Favorites include: (sweets) chocolate treasure box, plum and calamansi brioche, lychee pineapple bun, pumpkin crunch, fruit tarts, ALL their cookies (savory) parmessan mushroom balsamic bun, potato (chowder) bun. Love how Baker Cristina and team create innovative and delicious treats showcasing an Asian influence. Open M - F. Best to get their early cause when they sell out... they sell out for the day!“

“I treated myself on my birthday and bought their ulu banana bread and a lemon poppyseed bread that came with a blueberry compote. Everything was absolutely delicious, nicely packaged and the woman (Maile?) who helped me was very pleasant. The baked goods are pricey and I doubt I would spend that much money every week, but they use quality ingredients that are themselves expensive. I highly recommend trying the products from this bakery.“

I was extremely stressed this past week trying to figure out party plans for my niece’s 1st birthday knowing it would all fall on my aging parents and myself to get everything done and paid for. I figured we could just forego the cake since I didn’t want to spend a lot on cake alone. Day of the party, I decided to get one anyway, but of course, every nice cake shop were unable to make something day of. Luckily, I called one more bakery. I saw great reviews for We Heart Cake Company and they were not lying! My experience with the excellent service and professionalism of this company started with the phone conversation. Although they expressed they did not have full size cakes available, they were able to make a customized petit cake before the shop closed in an hour and a half. It turned out to be way better than I and my family could have hoped for! It was absolutely beautiful and although it was a smaller cake, I would have definitely paid more for it considering the amount of detail they put into it in the time frame given! We have been coming to this bakery for years, and they always impress even someone picky like me. Their items are all so cute, yummy, and taste freshly made. Coffee is very strong, I drink caffiene and energy drinks daily, but this coffee really wakes me up like no other. You really can't go wrong, so whether you're visiting or from here, you gotta swing by. Make your trip worth it!“

I also highly recommend their oatcakes and I wish they still sold them at COSTCO because they are always sold out at the 7-11 stores.“

The workers here are fast and with not so many different items for sale (tea cookies, almond cookies, rice cakes) it doesn’t take long and am usually done and out with the goods in no time.“
