Beautiful table overlooking the ocean, superb food - beet salad, watermelon salad, Huli Huli chicken and risotto with red crab - can still taste the dishes! The Monarch cocktail was one of the best mixes I've had - delicious. Outstanding service from John. Could not have made our experience any better.“

“This place was fantastic. The service was personal and world class. All of the workers there clearly had personal interest in making sure our experience was fantastic and that we loved the food. They even took extra special care to ask what we were doing next what we have already done our vacation and gave us a list of things that we should check out that were local before we left the island. We will absolutely go out of our way to come back to this place again.“

“Really good Hawaiian fare. We love the kalua pork and teriyaki chicken. If you get katsu chicken ask for extra sauce as they don't give near enough. We get take out from here every time we come to Maui. We got three plates of food for 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 13) and we had enough leftover for lunch the next day.“

“Our server, Isaiah, was most helpful with the menu choices. We had the roasted beet salad and the Steak and Frites. We asked for the steak to be cooked medium plus, but it came out less than medium and had to be sent back to be cooked further. Other than that, it was a delicious meal in a great location.“

Came across this amazing food truck and randomly ordered a few things……ended up coming back not even an hour later to order more. Great portions, food was so good! Made to order and so yummy! The wasabi cream sauce is 🤤🤤🤤 Give this truck a try! Best meal on Maui after a week of trying different local spots!“

“Kihei Fish House by Maui Grill: Fresh Flavors, Worth the Wait!

Kihei Fish House by Maui Grill is a highly recommended spot! Their coconut shrimp are delicious, and the grilled mahi-mahi with special sauce is so yummy. Every plate comes with tasty rice, sweet potato salad, and green salad. All the meals are consistently good! While the waiting time can be a bit long, the shaded outdoor seating with 6 long tables makes it comfortable. Definitely check this place out for fantastic seafood.“

“We loved attending the Luau at Te Au Moana! Located at the end of the hotel property, overlooking the ocean and perfect view of the sunset. The food is served family style and we enjoyed all of the different dishes they offered. The MC was very friendly and engaging in telling the history of Maui and their culture. The show was well curated, engaging and the dancers were phenomenal! The finale with the fire dancers was a highlight. Free parking in the garage of the hotel was appreciated, and it gave us the chance to walk through the lovely hotel resort.“

“Amazing service, food, drinks and sunset views. Kai Bar is a hidden gem in Wailea located at the AC hotel. We came back on a second night because we had such an amazing experience and sunset views. I highly recommend the Chicken Katsu sandwich and the Kai sliders. The servers did such a wonderful job both nights.“

“While we didn't go to any other luaus for comparison, I can't imagine they get much better than this. The food was thoughtfully presented, perfectly portioned, delicious, filling and a beauty to behold. The drinks were refreshing and tasty. “Tried Aloha Thai Fusion, and their Pad See Ew was hands down the best I had on the island even better than Thai Me Up. Great flavor, texture, and perfectly cooked noodles.

As for the Drunken Noodles, I’d still give the edge to Thai Me Up they do those a bit better in my opinion. But if Pad See Ew is your go-to, this is the spot.

Definitely coming back here on my next trip to try more of their menu. This is a must try if you're in Maui“

“We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, one Spam, egg, and cheese, and the other Portuguese saugage(linguica), egg, and cheese. They both had great flavor, and were a decent portion, for a good price! The two sandwiches cost us less than one cost at a different breakfast spot we went to previously. The restaurant itself isn't very updated, but don't let that fool you!“

“This is an unassuming restaurant located in a strip mall just off of the beautiful beaches of Kihei, Maui that offers delicious fish tacos, fresh ahi & shrimp salads and yummy poke. (I understand they have another location, not too far away that probably serves similar dishes.) The advantage of this location in particular, is the bakery downstairs that fills the air with the smell of the tastiest cinnamon rolls. The portions here are generous and the quality of the seafood is superb. No frills when it comes to service; place your order at the counter, find a seat & wait for it to be delivered to your table. We had a large party of 12 and were able to all sit together, a nice perk for us. But they did forget one person's order, which was kind of a bummer because he had to wait so long for his food, most of us were finished eating ours by the time his arrived. So we shared some of our food with him while he waited. Not a problem since the portions were so large. Overall, I recommend Coconuts Fish Cafe with two thumbs up.“

“This has always been one of our most favorite restaurants. All dishes they offer are simply outstanding. This time we had Ahi Poke Nachos, Steak Poke and the Ramen dish. So incredibly tasty for a very good price. And what a view!
Update: We visited today again - Had the best Poke bowl ever. This is a must - highly recommended!🤙🤙
Update 2: We visited yet again yesterday. The food keeps on getting better. The crispy pork belly appetizer was beyond excellent. One of the best dish we ever had. Ahi & Steak Pokd were outstanding as always. I would give more than five stars if it would be possible.😀“

“We stopped by recently while visiting the island and I am forever obsessed! The Hawaiian muffin and bread was amazing! I also love the bacon, egg and cheese stuffed roll! I definitely should have bought more goodies to bring back to Texas!“

“We booked the premium seating and had a wonderful time! Everyone working there was super nice and friendly. Especially our server Joe, who was kind and super attentive. When my daughter said she felt a little cold, he brought her a warm towel to keep cozy. That really made us feel cared for.
The drinks were tasty, the food was fresh and delicious. And there was a lot of it! We definitely didn’t leave hungry. The show was so fun, with dancing, chanting, and the fire performance. Our kids loved it, and they still talk about Chief Mana and his fire tricks!
Before the show, there were fun things to do like lawn games, hula dancing, temporary tattoos, and photos. The neck pieces they gave us before seating were beautiful and well made. We also would recommend the photograph service. It's $50/photo if I recall correctly, but the quality and keepsake value made it totally worth it.
The sunset view was absolutely stunning!
One small issue is that when we changed our date, the staff mentioned that our original table would be changed to a different number with not much explanation on what that really meant. When we got there I realized that it was still premium seating, but now second row, and the table in front of us blocked a lot of the view especially for the little ones. Lots of time they had to stand or move to see the stage, which wasn’t ideal. If they could arrange the seating better so every premium seat has a clear view, it’d be perfect.
Overall, we had a wonderful night full of good food, great service, and fun entertainment. Would totally recommend!“

(It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! “We were afraid this was going to be an average resort restaurant, but instead were amazingly surprised. We had one of the most memorable meals. The chef had a special with a Tomahawk steak for two that was unbelievable. Service and atmosphere were equally as good. We will definitely be back!“
