“We had the pleasure of dining at the Chef’s table last night. Everything, and I mean everything, was superb! The service was incredibly attentive, with no fewer than 8 staff members checking on us during the evening. In a most wonderful way. Our lead server John was completely knowledgeable of all the details and the wines and was super accommodating. The chefs Miguel and Ian were two of the 4 chefs who kept an eye on everything, and they were such a pleasure! It was clear that everyone we interacted with was completely committed to making our night extra special. They succeeded spectacularly. And the meal! The pace was handled perfectly and the dishes were wonderful, beautiful and memorable. Finally, the restaurant is beautiful and the views of the palms and ocean are gorgeous. We have been to Ka’ana Kitchen a few times in recent years, but never before at the Chef’s table. When we return, we be at that table once again. To all involved last night, thank you so much! You made it a very special and memorable evening.“

“A wonderful culinary experience. The entire menu is based on a fusion of Hawaiian culture. The pork belly bao buns, lavender honey crispy shrimp are out of this world. They do not fall short on great tasting entrees either. The seafood lau lau is absolutely delicious. Dinner wouldn’t be complete without exceptional drinks and dessert, which you can count on Kō serving.

“Stopped here based on so many solid reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The service was very fast and friendly. The portions were very large. Reasonably priced. And the Kalua pork was delicious! It’s a very small place in the corner of a strip mall kind of hard to see but well worth locating!

“One the best multi-course tasting meals we've ever had. Be prepared for bill, but well worth it. The chefs did a fantastic job explaining each dish and all were fabulous. Each guest also gets different courses so you can share and experience all dishes on the menu!!“

“Loved their garlic shrimps. Side salad, taro mush potatoes, curry taste rice, and sauce were also good. It was a perfect size for me, but my husband said he wished for bigger portions. Shrimps didn't smell at all, so they must be pretty fresh. Eating area had a small covered area, so it was hot and windy.“

“Amazing service, food, drinks and sunset views. Kai Bar is a hidden gem in Wailea located at the AC hotel. We came back on a second night because we had such an amazing experience and sunset views. I highly recommend the Chicken Katsu sandwich and the Kai sliders. The servers did such a wonderful job both nights.“

“Starting with Jason at the front reception area of the restaurant he set the tone with such a warm and welcoming attitude, and seated us at the best table in the house (we were super early lol so that helped too) but his genuine warmth is such an asset to this restaurant- he is a keeper! Karen our server also a keeper so attentive and kind and anticipated out every need. Norma our busser topped it all with her friendliness and great service. Such great staff! “Spicy food is a challenge to find on Maui. Not here at ATF! They offer customizable heat from 1 to 10. I ordered level 10 Green Curry w Tofu and did have to assure them that I was looking for Thai heat; runny nose & watering eyes and that I’m not just some dumb white guy with too much bravado. This was one of the spiciest dishes I’ve had on Maui and yet the flavor of the curry was very present and super enjoyable! Still, I’m going to see if they’ll push to 11 or 12 level on my next order. Their Thai Iced Tea is really good too.“

“So much fun! The team all works so hard to give you such a fun experience. We got to know the host and our waiter. We loved the food and the show. Lucky for us we were staying at the Andaz, but would recommend traveling for this, it’s worth it!“

The two sandwiches cost us less than one cost at a different breakfast spot we went to previously. The restaurant itself isn't very updated, but don't let that fool you!“

And then the Haleakala filet mignon, once again perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and topped with compound butter that was melted at table side with rosemary. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! Chef Junior Ulep, Mahalo for our special night, with our deepest grateful hearts, we appreciate your mana and the joyfulness in which you have chosen to feed us and our fellow patrons at Kula Lodge Restaurant!“

“A magical experience. The dancers, the stories, the fire, the MC, and then the service was outstanding. The setting was beautiful with incredible food, gosh I'd go back for the salad and Kahlua pork any day! Sam our server was fantastic and we got to try ancient Hawaiian games and activities too! You must go!“

WOULD SKIP: Maui Nui Venison Lumpia (starter) and Roasted Brussels (side), both were average
I CANNOT GIVE 5 STARS BECAUSE: They were hosting a Luau right next door so my partner and I were unable to have a quite/romantic dinner, expensive menu, lack of parking
