“My husband and I stayed several days for his 50th birthday. Surprise to us at check-in they had upgraded our room to an oceanfront room.., completely complimentary. It was hands down the best experience we have ever had. From the friendly staff, to the amazing meals and all the beautiful views inside and outside the resort. Mahalo! Mauna Lani!“

Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, the portions were very generous, and the prices were totally reasonable. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and flavorful, and we definitely left full and happy. What really made the experience even better was the service — everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and kind.

The only small downside was that there were quite a few chickens wandering around the eating area, which might bother some people. Other than that, everything was excellent. Great food, great value, and wonderful service. Definitely a 5-star experience and I would absolutely come back!“

“Totally awesome authentic burger place. My only regret was not ordering another burger. My sister had the Surf Burger and I had the Hi-Heat. On the drive back to our hotel, we just randomly kept saying what a great burger those were. Honestly surprised we didn’t turn around and go back for more.“

“Okay, let's start with the view. I mean, wow. Kauna'oa Bay, up close and personal. We were warmly welcomed & because I had noted my friend's birthday in my Open Table reservation comments, she received a “happy birthday” greeting too. The evening “cantina menu” is upscale Mexican. We started with the guacamole (stirred table-side) with chips and an array of salsas. I had chicken enchiladas but I don't recall the 2nd entree. Both delicious. We were stuffed but to celebrate the birthday we indulged in a shared Ovaltine Froth - a fun signature Mauna Kea ice cream dessert. The stunning sunset was the real icing on the cake!“

“We held our 50th Class Reunion there. Food was out of this world delicious and the Bartender, in addition to being a nice guy, made the perfect Bloody Mary. I am thinking that I may need to not wait for our 55 year reunion to visit :)“

“Loved our dinner at Browns Beach House! Ambiance was great, especially our seat right along the lawn (unobstructed view of the sunset) and the live music. Our server, Liana, was excellent and very personable. I enjoyed my chicken entree and champagne. My husband had a delectable coconut/cacao cocktail and a fish entree - mahi mahi. It was such a lovely evening. Very memorable, especially those delicious rolls!“

“We had the most incredible experience at Meridia while celebrating our wedding anniversary! From the beautiful atmosphere and breathtaking views to the amazing food and service, everything about our evening was perfect.

We ordered the crudo, caprese, catch of the day, Brussels sprouts, and mushrooms, and every single dish was absolutely delicious! You can truly tell how much thought and care goes into the food. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Soto, who was so incredibly kind and welcoming. It was such a special touch to our evening!

Our server was equally wonderful, so friendly, funny, and attentive throughout the entire dinner. They even surprised us with a special anniversary dessert, which was so thoughtful and made our celebration even more memorable.
