“I love this place! I was there for the first time with my toddler and boyfriend on a Saturday for lunch and it was absolutely amazing. The place is really nice and they play a variety of music… from rock en español to salsa and corridos. The waitress greeted us as soon as we walked in and gave us a table. The food was amazing! My favorite are the waffle fries with carne asada. The tacos are a good size and very well served. We were so pleased with our overall experience we wanted to bring my mom and daughters. We came on a Friday night. It was packed yet my experience was even better. Still great service and the owner took the time to come to our table and introduce himself and took some time to talk to us about how he started his business and talked about music with my mom. Very family friendly and would recommend everyone to support this great place. My mom talked about how much she liked it the whole way home! 😂“

“I’ve been driving past Taco Boom Truck for what feels like forever, always catching a whiff of grilled meat or seeing a small line of people and thinking, “One day I’ll stop.” Well, I finally did, and man, I should’ve done it way sooner.

It’s a simple setup, parked off the road, colorful, and always smelling amazing. People were hanging out, eating, and the service was quick and friendly. The guy at the window even gave me some salsa tips when I told him it was my first time.

I went with two carne asada tacos. No exaggeration, the meat was so tender and juicy, with this really nice char on the edges. You could taste the seasoning in every bite, nothing overpowering, just that good mix of garlic, citrus, and smoky flavor. The tortillas were warm, soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together (no taco explosions, which is always a win).

The green salsa? Wild. It started off kind of mild, then hit with this spicy, peppery kick that crept up in the best way. It had some creamy avocado vibes too, which made it super addictive. Honestly, I kept dipping even after I ran out of taco.

“Had to take a detour to this floating tiki bar on our way to the Fireboat tour. Surprisingly well made (but overpriced at $15 ea) human alcoholic beverages. The mojito was perfect and refreshing, and my daughter said her blue Hawaii was the best she'd had. Fun little stop on your walk. If you are prone to motion sickness....this one isn't for you, as it kinda rough seas. Also, in perusing other reviews, I see there are complaints about premixed cocktails...the Mojito and Blue Hawaiian were both hand made and excellent.“

“Today CheSa was in my building The Franklin downtown and of course I had to support my own! I got the 4 cheese Mac/jerk chicken bowl. Not too spicy but had a nice kick. Chicken was tender. Only issue is the juice from the chicken made the Mac and Cheese runny at the bottom“

“An excellent lobster from a food truck! I discovered the Happy Lobster about two years ago and always enjoy their lobster roll. It's a generous serving a fresh lobster served New England style. you can either order ahead or at the truck for a very short wait.

I have tried almost every potato they serve except one and I have no doubt I’m gonna like that one as well but my favorite is the pot roast potato. Everyone has their own taste to what is good but I will definitely say check them out. You won’t be disappointed.“
