“We celebrated our 30th Anniversary here and it did not disappoint! Lobster cargot could’ve been a meal by itself!! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Teriyaki green beans were also a favorite of ours along with the Mac n cheese. You have w to get dessert! We had the chocolate ganache cake and strawberry sundae. Jeff our server was amazing ! The view couldn’t have been better.“

We had Angela as our server and it was one of the best services we've received. She was knowledgeable and attentive. Food didn't take too long to get to the table. Ambiance was great! Steak was the most important one obviously and it was cooked to perfection. We had the ribeye and the fillet. The Brussels sprouts were THE best I've ever had. Drinks were good with unique cocktail options. I had a small complaint about the oysters and they more than made up for it. We tried a few desserts. Panacotta was my favorite. We will be back.“

“We had dinner here recently and it was honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly and super tender. They serve it on a 500° plate which actually keeps it hot the whole time, which I loved.

The atmosphere is really nice without feeling stuffy, and the service was great — attentive but not hovering. Everything from the drinks to the sides was solid. Definitely worth it for a special night or if you just want a really good steak in Chicago. Would go back for sure.“

“We had the repast for my father's funeral at the Firehouse Restaurant in their Palmer Parlor. The O'Malley's and their Event Manager Carolyn Orlando couldn't have created a better environment for us to celebrate my dad's life. Their staff made it feel like they were serving their own family. The food was great, the drinks flowed and everything went off as the team promised.“

“Went for brunch. Food is good but nothing very creative. Had the French dip, really good but needed a bit more horseradish. The fries are amazing. Flight of cinnamon rolls wasn’t great value. We started with the lobster bisque, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, one of the best I’ve had. My husband ordered the bone-in ribeye, cooked perfectly and very flavorful. They also offer a strong wine selection, which paired well with our meal. To finish, we had their homemade tiramisu, and it was outstanding, light, fresh, and not overly sweet.

Service was attentive without being rushed, and the atmosphere felt upscale yet comfortable, making it ideal for a date night or special occasion. Donald, our server was excellent. A big plus is that they also offer valet parking, which made the evening even more convenient.

If you’re searching for a great steakhouse with seafood options and excellent service, this place is absolutely worth visiting. We’ll definitely be coming back.“

“We ate lunch at Michael Jordan’s Steak House in Chicago today. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the hostess helped us with our parking situation. Our server was friendly and quick. In the second course, we ordered the chicken souvlaki and the seafood pasta. The chicken souvlaki was quite bland, but the sides added more flavor. The seafood pasta was fine, but the prawn heads were empty. For the third course, we had the Basque cheesecake and the sorbet trio, both of which were wonderful in terms of flavor and size. The ambience was nice, though the seating was a bit cozy for our taste; it felt as though we were eavesdropping on other people's conversation. Overall, we enjoyed the appetizer and dessert, and were unimpressed with the main course.“

“What can I say? My experience at Perilla Korean Steakhouse was AAAAAAMAZING!!! I met Jose', who I later found out was the manager on the night prior to my reservation when I ordered an evening snack. I was pleasantly surprised when he stopped by my table to ask about my meal from the previous night. He was courteous and genuinely receptive to the feedback. Great exchange! My snack was good but I couldn't eat it all. My dining experience for the next evening was more than I expected. Christopher was patient with me while I asked 1000 questions and he provided great feedback and recommendations for my meal and drinks. Bethany prepared my marinated short rib to perfection and engaged in pleasantries. Did I mention that their Caesar salad is THE BEST that I've had in my lifetime? Both Christopher and Bethany provided outstanding Service. After dinner, I left for a quick moment and returned for dessert and a night cap at the bar. From my entrance (the woman who seated me) until my departure was a wonderful experience. Great job providing top tier customer service.“

“came for chicago restaurant week at lunch; the menu was the same as their usual lunch offering (3 courses for $35). I had the steak sandwich, which was good but fairly large pieces for a sandwich making it hard to chew. my group also had the fish entrée, which neither enjoyed very much. the sandwich came with potato wedges and the fish came with no sides, just a single filet of fish. the carrot cake dessert was VERY good.

the server was nice but we did have to flag them down a couple times trying to get the check to leave for work meetings after 1.5 hours, as this was weekday lunch.“

Keep in mind there is a no-flash policy. I wasn’t in the mood for alcohol, so I chose the Golden Glow, from the spirit-free section. It was so good, I ordered two. I ordered strictly from the Restaurant Week menu. My first course was the wedge salad, which was good. For my second course, I chose the upgrade and went with the 8oz filet and 50/50 mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were an 11/10, superb!!!! Now for the steak, I asked for medium-
well cooked. It was more medium. I didn’t care for the char on the outside. Finally, for dessert, the only option offered is the Snickerdoodle cheesecake, topped with pear and honey. I’m not a fan of pear, but the cheesecake was good.“
