Kids meals are free with adult purchase & the portions of my son’s teddy bear pancakes were huge! Actually portions of everything is huge. The ambiance was so relaxing and peaceful; it was a nice respite from a busy day and I didn’t want to leave. Choc Chip scone is delicious; good texture, plenty of chips and excellent tasting. Also purchased cinnamon roll. After heating, just incredible! Frosting super delish, dough was great. Anxious to go back, would like to try cupcakes, empanadas and pie. Store is super cute!!! Also, the owner/manager was at an event, not at store today. However, family member there (Mom I think). “I have been a patient at a re hab center nearby for 3 weeks.Tempting me with different foods so I would eat better, she brought me a half of a turkey sandwich and supposedly a cup of vegetable soup.

I think the soup was a pint, it was fabulous, all veggies were cooked perfectly. When she pulled out the turkey sandwich without unwrapping it I thought by the Wieght I thought she got me a full one. I don't know how they make money. She was bringing them almost every day. I'm leaving here tomorrow and am really going to miss their food. I wish they really had one by where I live.“

“We went to Zentli on a Sunday evening. The ambience was welcoming and the waitstaff friendly and helpful. We ordered vegan food which was fresh, delicious and filling. My husband thought the Zentli Salad was excellent. We both had tacos (Nopales, zetas and verduras). We shared the vegan dessert, plantains with a vegan caramel cream sauce, which was quite tasty. We will return , perhaps for a weekend brunch.“

The owners take pride in managing the restaurant on a daily basis. They prioritize customer service, great food, and a warm, welcoming experience. Last night, they hosted the Highland Park/Highwood Professional Moms group. We had only expected 15 women to attend, but 25 women ended up coming. The owners and the staff were AMAZING. They brought over additional chairs. They provided us with top-notch service, including separate checks. “OH! Are you in for a TREAT when you dine here. The food is sensational. We have traveled all of the world and lived all over the United States. The cuisine here is unique and out of this world. The recipes are unique to this restaurant. We have eaten at other Ethiopian restaurants. They do not even register next to this one. The Proprietor is SOOOOO nice. And, ask him what brought him to the United States. It's an emotionally moving story. If you haven't had Ethiopian cuisine before, it is NOT scary. There are hardy vegetarian and meatatarian dishes. So, there's something for everyone. And, the dishes that are spicy are mild. So, don't worry about your sensitive belly. The meal is a SHARED experience. So, make sure you bring friends. Although I was not able to dine during this year's annual trip (with another group of ten), the owner remembered me from last year and we had a nice conversation while they finished packing our food. I had called ahead, and they had tried really hard to accommodate us for dine in, and I really appreciated that. My group had such a great experience that we were determined to at least enjoy their take out. As with the previous year, the folks at Rice Thai cooked delicious food. I will be visiting again next summer, and I know that I can count on meeting very good people and enjoying a great dinner whether we dine in or take out.“
