You thought you've had it all, that Chicago couldn't possibly have yet ANOTHER banger in Wicker Park, but i'll be damned, here we are. The cracklin' shrimp is so well done, I would eat a bowl of it. Lemony, spicy, deep fried deliciousness. The half chicken was among the best I've ever had (whatever that green sauce was, was KILLING IT) not to mention my wife's elote lasagna?!?! Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. We will definitely return with friends and recommend anyone to try it out! classy, but not snobby, cool decor, warm kind and accommodating staff, and great food and cocktails are just the cherry on top! try the carrot cake after your meal :) Thank you again to taylor and the manager again <3“

Kids meals are free with adult purchase & the portions of my son’s teddy bear pancakes were huge! Actually portions of everything is huge. The churro French toast was incredibly delicious and included as a side to my omelette…small upcharge well worth it!! If ever in the area again it will be a must to to revisit!“

The ambiance was so relaxing and peaceful; it was a nice respite from a busy day and I didn’t want to leave. Reasonably priced as well: shared appetizer, two teas, two entrees, and two desserts was $60. Will definitely be back for many more dinners!“

“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

“This is hands down the best ramen I’ve had since Japan! I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and everything about it was absolutely delicious. The broth had the perfect balance of rich, savory, and spicy flavor without being overwhelming.

The ramen noodles were perfect, the texture and consistency were exactly what I look for in good ramen, and they paired so well with the meat and flavorful broth. The meat was also incredibly tender and delicious, making every bite so satisfying.

I also tried the karaage, and it was SO good! It was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being juicy and tender on the inside.

Honestly, this ramen was so good that I completely forgot to take a before picture because I was too busy eating it! 🤣 Thank you for such an amazing meal!I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Celebrated my wife’s birthday here with three other families, as we were in Chicago between baseball tournaments. Not only was Coda di Volpe able to accommodate a same day reservation for a large party, but they went above and beyond, from personalizing menus with a birthday wish, to adding a special touch on dessert. With four teenage boys in tow, the menu provided ample carbs and comfort for them while we enjoyed a broad sample of the offerings - all were very happy with their meals! Cocktails and wine selection was also on the mark. Kudos to Jeremy and his staff. We came all dressed in white and he told us he knew he wanted to do something special for our party… they knocked it out of the park! Looking forward to coming back to Chicago and making a beeline for this restaurant… a no-brainer.“

“I recently was visiting Chicago and as a habit, I searched for Best Gluten Free bakery and discovered Defloured. What an amazing place. As a Celiac, finding good GF baked goods is rare to find. Wow what a selection. I purchased a chocolate cupcake, two love pucks, cinnamon rolls, poppy lemon bread, baguette, and aNutella sandwich cookie. Everything was really delicious. I mean world class quality. I now plan on making regular visits to Chicago so I can load up and fill my freezer with possibly the best GF baked goods in the U.S. I’ve tried a lot.“

“After hearing about Omarcito’s from Triple D, we had to try it. The owner, Omar, is hilarious and has a great personality. He greeted everyone as they walked up and held genuine conversations. “Casa Yari is the best for vegan food in Chicago...hands down. The menu is creative, delicious and made with love. Yari is an amazing chef and human all around. Her staff, which includes her daughters, is very knowledgeable about the menu and can guide you on what to get if you're a first timer. Every dish is made to order so a little bit of a wait time is to be expected and well worth it. Be sure to check their website for updated rotating menus as well as some restaurant FAQs (i.e. they stop taking orders about 30 min before close) Heads up, brunch is busy so you most likely won't be able to grab your order to go but you are more than welcome to dine in at the bar if you're solo.
