“I made my first visit to Prime Sushi & Ramen today. It won't be my last. I ordered negihama maki (yellowtail roll) and salmon roll for pickup. My order was ready on time, the portions of fish were high quality and generous, and they got my special request (no wasabi) right. I haven't had the dine-in experience yet, but they occupy the former Amore Mio space, which is lovely. I'm delighted to have another fine restaurant in that space, and I look forward to becoming a regular!”

“Decided to have dinner here a few nights ago and was very pleased with our decision. For appetizers we had edamame and takoyaki. Mains, I had spicy beef ramen with a big beef rib in it, my husband had beef curry rice, my daughter had pork katsu rice, and her fiance spicy chicken ramen. Everything was delicious. You can have the spice level adjusted to your preference, I ordered Mild and one of us ordered Fire (spiciest, using habanero peppers). Free refills on sodas. Service was fast and our server was very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking out front. Definitely recommend it. We would come back here again. 👍”

“This restaurant is a hidden gem. There are a lot of frequent Chinese dinners including us. Definitely one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in the US. If your favorite Chinese dish is orange chicken or general tso’s chicken, this is not the place for you. But if you want to have a glimpse of authentic Chinese flavors, this is the place. The only thing I do think the restaurant can benefit from is a renovation. An upgrade to the decoration can make this a date place.”

“Came here with a few friends and family to play darts. It was 930 pm and we were told we were being too loud- literally cheering that my mom got a bullseye. Because it was apparently their dinner hour… one table was eating. The bartender started swearing at us and the other was so concerned we cheered yet let a dad pay her off to allow a teenager in days ago. Handed us the bill and then called the cops on us. Mind you the cops laughed hearing how they were. Would not recommend a thing. Terrible atmosphere and incompetent rude staff.”

“While traveling to Chicago, I had an opportunity to visit Rookies Sports Bar & Grill. The service was very good and my waiter was very helpful with picking out some great dishes for us to try. From the fish to the ribs and salad. I have no complaints as everything was good. Cooked to perfection and the overall cost was reasonable. I look forward to another visit.”

“I didn't get any food so I gave it a three to make it average. As far as the service went the lady with the cane, even though it look like she was struggling she served us all and always asked us if we wanted a drink or some snacks or anything. The atmosphere... everyone was having a good time and the machines were hitting so everybody was having a ball!.... except for the one guy on the end. It wasn't his lucky day, maybe next time for him though. I walked out $160 in to play & about $580 cash in hand!”

“Best Subway I’ve ever been to. No joke! When I saw the 4.8 rating I assumed it was probably inaccurate or pumped up with fake reviews. Definitely not the case here. This is exactly how a restaurant should be ran. Extremely friendly staff, fresh food, and very clean environment.

They handled all my pain in the a$$ requests well…with a smile even. I always make sure to tip because of this.

“Finally found a halal Thai restaurant. Looking for a very long time. Tried the food it was amazing. Red Curry and Pad Thai was delicious. Food, Service everything was amazing. Please don't compare with Indo/Pak food Its totally different taste like authentic Thai food not taste like desi Chinese but we enjoyed. Last Orange chicken was also delicious if you want to try authentic orange chicken. It's far from my place but definitely going back.”

“Dinner | $20–30 Service is very poor here, especially after they hired a new chef who uses garbage ingredients and does not even use the ingredients that is listed on the food description. We ordered the basil Thai rice with chicken after having a good experience the first time with nice large pieces of white meat chicken. Well sadly the second time instead of using chicken, they put a bunch of mushrooms and there are not supposed to be any mushrooms in there and there was not any chicken. So I called and I spoke with Annie, who was supposed to be the manager. She said that I would have my next mail free. So I called today and ordered basil fried rice with chicken. Instead of getting basil fried rice with chicken I got a small container of brown rice plain and then a container of something that looks like ground beef with a few basil, leafs and onion. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had and it was absolutely not basil fried rice. It looked like they ground up chicken organs, and it tasted even worse. I would avoid this place at all cost because clearly they don’t care about quality and service any longer and when they make a big mistake, they double down and make the mistake again and they don’t really care to make things right.”

“I've been here a few times about four o'clock or so and the lady that's usually there is really nice and very accommodating (don't know her name). I was in yesterday and there was a guy on the machine hitting the buttons so loudly after 40 minutes of this I couldn't take it any longer and had to get out of there! I would have stayed another hour if he wasn't doing this. I like to go and have a beer and unwind from work and it was none of that. It's sad that some people are so self absorbed they have no consideration for others. Btw I wasn't the only one that was getting agitated. This is in no way a bad review, the place is great! I just wish people would think of others.”

“Umart Foods & Bake Shop is a solid choice for homestyle Filipino food in Hoffman Estates. We ordered bopis, papaitan, beef kaldereta, lechon kawali, and pork and chicken BBQ; all of which were delicious and perfectly cooked. The only dish that fell a little short was the pancit bihon, which could have used more meat and vegetables, though the flavor was still good.

For dessert, the maja blanca was just okay, it could have been richer and more flavorful. On the other hand, the breads and snacks were excellent. The uraro cookies were legit and delicious, the ube piaya was so good I wished I had bought more, and the pandesal was soft, fluffy, and fresh.

Service was mostly pleasant, the man who checked us out and the older lady who took our orders were both nice and friendly. The woman cashier, however, came across as more businesslike and not as warm.

Overall, this was a 4-star experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐. The food and baked goods were authentic and delicious, with just a few areas that could be improved.”

“This Starbucks has a great vibe. Nice setting for my boss and me to have a 1:1 conversation. Not as noisy as some places. Plus they always remember my boss and they greet people well.”

“Excellent service. At very short notice we were able to collect 4 trays of hot food. On a snowy day when flights were abruptly cancelled turning our home into an hotel, this was a very comforting option. Delicious food.”
