“Was so sad when Yumz! in Crystal Lake shut down years back, and was happy there’s still a froyo place open in McHenry. When I first tried the flavors here a couple years ago, they were NOT it, gross, something was off and even my favorite flavor I didn’t like. Wasn’t going to come back, but I happened to be nextdoor today and thought might as well try it again, and I’m glad I did because the flavors are great this time around. Including my favorite flavor (cake batter- yum!). So whoever made the flavors for 2/19/25, good job. I will be frequenting now.“

“Slighly higher prices than the places we usually visit (Hansen's in Wilmot and Rusty Malts in Ringwood) We live in Fox Lake so Round Lake is a little closer than our usual stop for ice cream with the grandkids. That said, the grandkids loved La Michoacana! Incredibly colorful with a seemingly endless variety. The Ice cream was delicious and the service was wonderful! I highly recommend them if you're in the Round Lake area.“

The delivery person outside tried to give me at least 3 different orders that weren’t ours, and when we got home the chicken nuggets were missing the sauce, and the chili was missing the toppings and sour cream. Not a great outing tonight.“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“I was very happy with the employees that worked there, but i gave it a one-star for the food. I was very disappointed in the twist cone I received. It was like eating whipped cream. Don't get me wrong, I like whipped cream but not as a cone. The reason why it was like this is because the machine wasn't calibrated correctly in the beginning, or they ran out of mix, and when they added more mix. And then the machine when out of calibration. I know this because I worked in the food industry for 35 years.“

“Lately, I have had trouble finding great tasting, local food. A lot of places have that frozen dinner, mass produced taste. However, Asian Fusion was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the orange chicken and crab rangoon, something basic to determine if it is worth coming back. Will definitely be coming back to order other things off the menu. The rice appeared fresh and did not have any hardness or that leftover the next day and reheated quickly feeling. The orange chicken was amazing, and had a bit of a punch to it that I have not tasted anywhere else. Even the broccoli had snap and was not overcooked or soggy looking. The dinner came with a free egg roll which tasted just as great. It is connected to a rolled ice cream shop as well, and the person working the counter was also rolling up ice cream for other diners.“

“We came here for ice cream after a great lunch and then walking around in downtown McHenry all day on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The portions are HUGE, you will definitely be just fine with a medium if you were looking for a large. It is so good and the workers there are amazing.
