“Ironically I ran into the owner during a Lyft ride and he was my driver. So two weeks later I try the food and it's out of this world. He specifically told me he uses the finest, freshest, high quality ingredients-which is apparent when you try the food. No seed oils here either! “What a GREAT pancake and breakfast place. The food is wonderful from the delicious omelets and agg dishes to the perfect pancakes especially their famous apple pancake to the perfect waffles & perfect crepes!! The best part is all of the food is served piping hot, the best way to enjoy it!! The coffee is fresh and the orange juice is fresh squeezed!!
The service is 5 stars as well. You never feel rushed so it is a great place to meet friends for breakfast and lunch!! You will be so happy and return again & again !! That's a promise!!“

“Delicious, flavorful & healthy food at a reasonable price. I got a bowl with purple rice, kale, broccoli, carrots, pickled onions, kimchi and Korean BBQ beef. Tried teriyaki sauce on the side and it was tasty but the veggies are all so seasoned so well that sauce wasn’t necessary and the meat was also super flavorful and marinated. Highly recommend. They list all ingredients and calories as you’re ordering so you can stay mindful! Great place.“

“This place. Wow. Like a well-oiled pastry machine. I have gone there sporadically over the past couple years but really buckled down and started committing to every Sunday these past few weeks. lol. “Very good gluten free bread! I've tried the small baguettes and pretzel rolls so far and both were excellent. Gluten free eating is getting better all the time and this bread is proof. It has really improved since I was diagnosed in 2011. Thank goodness.“

“Today CheSa was in my building The Franklin downtown and of course I had to support my own! I got the 4 cheese Mac/jerk chicken bowl. Not too spicy but had a nice kick. Chicken was tender. Only issue is the juice from the chicken made the Mac and Cheese runny at the bottom“

“So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

When my package arrived it was not in perfect condition....having traveled through a snow storm and a holiday weekend...it was disappointing..(FedEx, not them) I called them to say hello and alert them to my sadness....They not only replaced the promo box, but added extra goodies and shipped it overnight with a sweet message from the owner. 👍😍 First Class all the way...And, AMAZING sweets! “Had lunch there today and I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with the service. The food was excellent but that's it. Asked for 2nd drink and never got it. Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.“

“My daughter and her kids enthusiastically recommended we all go here for Sunday lunch. The food was very good. There was a bit of an issue trying to get food my wife could eat given she has a few food sensitivities which seemed to preclude her eating here. But once we got it figured out, we had a tasty meal. The owner waited on us personally and was somewhat helpful with the limited options on the menu for my wife. He is a friendly guy who takes great pride in his restaurant. There isn't any atmosphere here. You go for the food and will not be disappointed.“

“I just walked out of the door and am so glad that God sent us there. We tried 3 places prior to walking in CheSa’s doors which was a definite blessing. We had the catfish skillet, bourbon peach cobbler franchise toast, chicken sausage and scrabbles eggs w/cheese washed down with a breakfast martini. “We stopped here as a recommendation from someone who lives there. It was obvious to me that all of their ingredients were gotten fresh. The tomatoes for their sauce are hand picked. Their sauce is excellent! The deep dish crust has a good crisp to it, we didn't feel greesy or bloated after eating it. I failed to grab the name of our waiter but he made the whole experience worth it. Great place for families and friends. It felt like home cooking.“

Everyone asks for Alisha's cakes for their birthdays. The cake is dense and rich so we usually serve smaller slices (but people will go back for seconds).“
