“Have visited twice now and both times were fabulous. First visit, my husband and I were out chasing the full moon to get some good pictures and spotted this place on our mad dash. We circled back and stopped in to check it out. Immediately loved the atmosphere ~ relaxed and very inviting. We weren't even hungry and thought we'd just take a gander at the menu and maybe get a take out appetizer but it smelled so tantalizing we opted to seat and have a full dinner. It did not disappoint. So good in fact, when my friend's birthday rolled around I said I wanted to take her out to this great place I recently discovered. With a backdrop of enjoyable music and lovely decor as well as great service and delicious food, Vanakkam India is a real winner. Will definitely return.”

“We visited Lucha Canting for the first time tonight. It was excellent! I just moved back here after living in Austin, TX, for many years. I wasn't expecting the food and atmosphere to be as good and inviting as they were. I told my dinner companion the food was as tasty as any Mexican food I've had in TX, and it was beautifully presented. The way in which the restaurant was decorated made me feel like I was back in Texas! Lastly, our server was excellent. He checked on us just the right amount, and got our food out in good time. All in all, it was quite a pleasant experience!”

My 9 year old son loves to use the keypad to customize his own poke bowl. The food is fresh and delicious with countless combinations on the build your own bowl. Friendly and helpful staff. “A diamond in the rough. VERY modern coffee / tea shop that only takes credit cards. You have to order through a kiosk and they just make your drink in the back and bring it to the counter. Not sure how I feel about this inpersonal service. If you're looking for a cozy, personalable atmosphere, this place isn't for you. But if you're just looking to grab and go, then it is. Drinks and snacks are delicious, so no complaints there.”

“Delicious! The, "Hot J**** isn't crazy hot. It has a nice heat with massive flavor. The Taste of Jamaica is a decent size portion with chicken and sweet, fried plantain over rice with pigeon peas. The only , "negative" would be that the spring roll is mostly rice. It would be better with more chicken. But the flavors are always spot-on. The sauces are fruity, vinegary, herby, and spiced all at the same time. The mild had very little heat while the hot is a middle spice. Grab a jar of the j*** sauce to take home!”

The service is excellent, the venue is clean, the food is amazing, the menu has a nice selection. This is the best option for a normal American meal outside of the downtown area. The ambiance is old school wood and low lighting, comfortable seating inside or out, Every course I ate was 5 star, the filet was incredible, even the mashed potatoes are fantastic. Highly recommended for special occasions or just a night out.”

“It was extremely clean and welcoming. It smelled so good and I didn't have to wipe my own table. Andre was so amazing. Honestly my best and favorite experience with any other waiters. This was my first time and I was so rememberable. My little sister was having the worst night so we drove out and stopped there. She couldn't smile at all. I guess he's a god sent angel bc I've never seen her actually smile like that in a while. She told me she loved it and was really helping that we went

“You know I generally hate Rockford and the lack of customer service even more so at fast food places. The gentleman with the locs who gave me my food was so polite and had great customer service. Food was fresh and hot also rare in Rockford . The woman who took my order was also great and got everything correct. First time in 5 years I had zero complaints I came home and told my husband how I was shocked at the great customer service. He immediately went into describing the same gentleman I was referring to and how he received the same experience. Which lead me to having to leave a review because it’s great to see there are people who take pride in what they do while carrying a good attitude.”

“Of all the McDonald’s in town. This is the best. They are not raising prices. The ice coffees are the best. The don’t lie to you. Bathroom is very clean. Friendly staff. Fresh fries!!! That’s a huge 5 stars. Many mcds seem to be sloppy on the food freshness. I’d drive the extra miles to this one any time.”

I’ve come at 9:30, 12:25, 1:30, and 1:55 all on different days they were supposed to be open at those times. The lack of schedule consistency is frustrating, especially when I’m craving something I know will be delicious. Highly recommend if you can catch them when they are open. Maybe just really bad timing on my part.”

I'm already paying $0.90 cents for steak. And another $0.90 cents for the rice and sauce I but I get way less food than if I were to order beef instead. A manager must work around this time who's a real stickler on portions. But every other item is great and every time I go the workers are wonderful. The food is really good. That's my only complaint is all the empty tortilla I gotta bite through to get a bite with some food. Hope this can change in the future”

I’m from Tennessee and am very familiar with Chick-Fil-A, and this one is the best and friendliest I’ve ever dealt with.”

“Met my sister at her favorite bakery. This place did not disappoint. Delicious baked goods with a great selection, something for everyone. Had a Danish and egg ham and cheese biscuit. The Danish was soft and crispy with the perfect center.
The biscuit sandwich was soft and crumbled. The maple ham is the way to go. It's really good pairing.
Was able to grab some day olds for car snacks.
If you haven't been by, stop in and prepare to be amazed, and I will be back again.

“I stopped by Whiskey Roadhouse after reading reviews that they had a good breakfast buffet. They do. It's Sunday 10-2p and it's very good food for a very reasonable price. The staff work very hard cooking and stocking the buffet with quality food but it's hard to keep up at times when a large group of hungry folk descend on the buffet at the same time, so be patient. Food will be out shortly and it's worth the wait. Very friendly place. If there is something that you need, just ask and they'll get it for you.”

I'd give 5 stars on everything but only say service a 4 bc we were there, taking our daughter & her fiancé, out for their 30th bdays, along with her sis & newlywed hubby. Although it wasn't acknowledged, though I mentioned at reservations & directly to server, of our celebration dinner? Atmosphere same reason, only since our preference, of the music playing was ok.
