“I go here often for my girls and for my company. It's usually very quick. There was one time I waited almost an hour for my pick up order and when I asked about it the young lady was very nice and asked me my name. I told her and then nothing another 30min rolls around and I ask her again and she goes and tells another young lady and she comes up and asks me if I checked in on the app. I told her no, I don't have the app. And she said they only go in order from check in on the app. I told her I had told the young lady who was boxing orders my name and then everyone after me had gotten their orders and left, and I was still standing there (with a baby) and she just gave me an attitude. So I left. Other than that one experience, most of my visits are very quick and easy to get in and out.”

“Have visited twice now and both times were fabulous. First visit, my husband and I were out chasing the full moon to get some good pictures and spotted this place on our mad dash. We circled back and stopped in to check it out. Immediately loved the atmosphere ~ relaxed and very inviting. We weren't even hungry and thought we'd just take a gander at the menu and maybe get a take out appetizer but it smelled so tantalizing we opted to seat and have a full dinner. It did not disappoint. So good in fact, when my friend's birthday rolled around I said I wanted to take her out to this great place I recently discovered. With a backdrop of enjoyable music and lovely decor as well as great service and delicious food, Vanakkam India is a real winner. Will definitely return.”

“We live within walking distance of BSB and have dined here 30+ times since we have lived here. We have NEVER had a bad meal or a bad experience, which is SO impressive to say after that many visits. The food is amazing and the weekly specials are so good you wished they made the main menu. Their outdoor seating is great throughout the seasons and we loved bringing our dog here (and he loved it too). Now we bring our daughter who is a BIG fan of the mac & cheese and tots. This is a restaurant we will truly miss being so close to the day we decide to move.”

His catering manager, Elliott, promptly responded with an email explaining their wide range of creative options and costs. We selected our desired dishes and several days later we we met Elliott from his team as he delivered and set up the food with minimal direction. Everyone at the party noted how great the food was (we took all the credit). We would highly recommend Abreo for their catering quality and variety. What a great experience. “Delicious! The, "Hot J**** isn't crazy hot. It has a nice heat with massive flavor. The Taste of Jamaica is a decent size portion with chicken and sweet, fried plantain over rice with pigeon peas. The only , "negative" would be that the spring roll is mostly rice. It would be better with more chicken. But the flavors are always spot-on. The sauces are fruity, vinegary, herby, and spiced all at the same time. The mild had very little heat while the hot is a middle spice. Grab a jar of the j*** sauce to take home!”

The fries were outstanding. The Filipino Chicken Adobo was very delicious, the egg and sauce were perfect together. Chicken was perfectly cooked. The Lumpiang Shanghai was a great starter to the meal. The Ube cheesecake was ok, but not very flavorful. The Aluna Water was surprisingly refreshing and worth the $10. I haven’t been here since it changed brands, overall decent experience and would try again when not so busy for an event.”

“I stopped by Whiskey Roadhouse after reading reviews that they had a good breakfast buffet. They do. It's Sunday 10-2p and it's very good food for a very reasonable price. The staff work very hard cooking and stocking the buffet with quality food but it's hard to keep up at times when a large group of hungry folk descend on the buffet at the same time, so be patient. Food will be out shortly and it's worth the wait. Very friendly place. If there is something that you need, just ask and they'll get it for you.”

I'd give 5 stars on everything but only say service a 4 bc we were there, taking our daughter & her fiancé, out for their 30th bdays, along with her sis & newlywed hubby. Although it wasn't acknowledged, though I mentioned at reservations & directly to server, of our celebration dinner? Atmosphere same reason, only since our preference, of the music playing was ok. Everything was nice hot and fresh and seasoned perfectly our server was a younger girl and she was very friendly. “I was in the Rockford area, wanted to grab some Chinese food to go, and decided to give it a try at China Wok. Didn't know that its actually located inside Cherry Valley Mall's food court.

When I was there, they really give generous samples to try on - important for me that's really particular about Chinese food.

Decided to buy 5 different menus from them and WOW! My kids love them, and they were asking for more. I told them its a 1.5 - 2 hours drive from where we are. But, the next time we are in Rockford, will definitely grab it again. Here are the menus that I tried and recommended (in order of preference according to my kids):

1. Black Pepper Chicken,
2. Pepper Steak (just a little spicy for kids - but that's prob due to the black pepper),
2. Singapore Chicken (spicy, but its so good! - its on 3rd selection but that's probably because one of my kid doesn't eat spicy - however, Pepper Steak & Singapore Chicken would rank the same!),
4. Honey Chicken (some said its Orange Chicken - but its honey chicken),
5. Plain Mushroom (Kids don't really eat mushroom, but according to me & my wife, its SO GOOD!)

Last but not least, the shrimp fried rice looks really good too, but we didn't get to try this cause its our first time. But will do at the next chance.
