“I just went there to have a meeting with a coworker and absolutely loved the service and the atmosphere. The empanada was still frozen when they served it to me but the server was so kind and gentle and immediately gave me another one that was well cooked and didn’t charge me for the wait and inconvenience. I call that consideration and good business practice! Will be back again!!“

“I just had the lovely experience sitting with a family friend for coffee. I got a lavender bloom and it was by far the best coffee I’ve ever had. I love coffee. It tasted like coffee and the perfect amount of sweet. If you know you know. There were rocking chairs on the porch that were occupied when I arrived but the back seating was intimate and comfy. The walls are lined with local artist exhibits for sale. I have my eyes on one that I plan to purchase when I come back. I look forward to buying more delicious coffee and to see what new Art is displayed. This place gets it. A part of the reemergence if you will. I wish for this place to stay authentic and hope they get just enough business but not too much if you know what I mean. It is a diamond in the rough. It needs to be beloved and protected. “The Tala in Libertyville is also where Tala roasts its coffee. It's a cute little spot. The coffee is always delicious and high quality. I like that this location has muffins in addition to donuts. The zucchini chocolate chip muffins are amazing. The staff is friendly.“

“I tried a coffee from here for the first time. Elena is so sweet and I LOVEEEE her accent. But she truly is so nice and sweet and I love that (i think i have a crush on her). Apart from her the coffee was SOOOO good. I was feeling low on energy so I needed something and this coffee was amazing. “Conscious cup is my go to in town, even though we have quite a few independent coffee shops. The drinks and food are great. Disappointed with the price updates lately, a sandwich is now the same price as it used to be but a half size. I understand the rising costs of things but I think management needs to reconsider this or adjust prices to bring back the original sizes.“

“I've been here three times in the past year and have been wowed each time. The employees are always nice and accommodating. The food is perfect each time, the bathrooms and restaurant itself are very clean, and the space is welcoming! That's saying a lot from someone who worked in a lot of restaurants over the years and can easily spot issues. Bagels are chewy, thaw nicely after being in my freezer for a bit, and make excellent sandwiches. Thank you for the Windex and cleaning up my water bottle catastrophe ;)“

“Everytime we come to this mall, this is one of first things we get. We saw a sign saying they had three variety flavors of horchata drinks and we jsut had to give it a try. Our go to is the Cafe horchata but you can get vanilla or chocolate as well if coffee isn't your go too. I've had them all and they are all delicious.“

“The first thing you notice is the farm house decor. The menu is American fare with a hint of some southern dishes. The staff is great considering it can get busy after 8:30 am. There’s plenty of parking and weather permitting. They have outside seating.“

“Delicious boba tea! I had the Coconut milk tea with boba and my husband had the mango fruit with boba. This was our first time here! It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas! “I tried the honey lavender matcha latte, and it was very delicious. I'm a huge matcha girly, and the amount/flavor of matcha did not disappoint- it was a dark green but still was very creamy. It was understandably sweet, which wasn't to my taste, but I did love the honey and lavender flavoring. I ordered a hot drink because the mall is cold, and the temperature is perfect- hot but not enough to burn my taste buds. Now I can comfortably sit down and study. The only thing is that it's very open to the mall (like, it's giving open floor design) so there's something weirdos walking by and being rowdy. It's not really a cozy café, but it's still very aesthetic and sleek (like all TLJ's).“

Sweet Home Gelato was the most compassionate and flexible vendor. It is not easy to cancel a wedding, unfortunately many vendors were not as accommodating. I know that Starbucks has had it’s fair share of scrutiny lately, but they have been nothing short of amazing through this. They have set a memorial table up in Rachel’s honor. They also called in grief counselors and pulled in shift support from other stores so that people who knew Rachel could take time to grieve individually as well attend her service.“

“When this location first opened it took over 20 minutes to get a drink and then it was made wrong. I was the only person there so it wasn't a long line issue. I have been there more recently and they are up to speed, making drinks correctly, the interior is always clean and organized, staff is friendly.“
