“Fried shrimp jianbing was a delectable combination of so many textures and flavors wrapped up in a freshly griddled crepe. The textural contrast between the shatteringly crispy wonton sheet and the soft, chewy crepe was downright addictive. Every bite was flavorful: smoky, savory, slightly sweet, a little spicy, and wildly satisfying. It's the comfort of street food in one messy, glorious handful.“

“Good local food spot for tacos, burritos, quesadillas etc. I went an hour after opening so they didn't have steak or birria available.
Quesadilla was hot fresh and tasted great good cheese to chicken ratio. Salsa was watery so I feel like it didn't pair well with the quesadilla, more like a hot sauce.“

“Absolutely delicious! The hot and sour soup brought the heat, but didn't over power the flavor. We also had a variety of the dim sum, the best was the pot stickers. Fun atmosphere, great service“

“This is definitely some of the better dim sum I’ve had. I’m not sure what it’s called but my favorite one is like shrimp amd egg and it’s a little toasted. And the custard tart is so good. The crust is so flaky“

“Share details of your own experience at this place.
Fine google whatever i'll do that
First time trying hot pot, reminds me of one kbbq I went in that you have to cook your own food
On the bright side, there was also a wide selection of pre-cooked food available such as rice, fruit, veggies, delectable little square cake thingies, although I did not recognize about 80% of what was in that area which was scary because I am easily frightened
• • • (that right there is called a dinkus)
The meat and broth was pretty alright, but it didn't stand out much. uhhh hang on lemme think of other stuff about this place hmmmmmmmm ok my group was large and we got our own room which was nice since interacting with strangers is scary because I am easily frightened
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm there are vegetarian broth options available which is good if you are a vegetarian because the food is vegetarian meaning there is no meat therefore making said food vegetarian“

“Hi Hing Wang team,
I know this place since 2005, right after they moved from “under the Red Line train” to their actual address. Since then, I remember their chicken noodle soup was great. I say “was” because it’s not on the menu anymore. Their fried rice is amazing — I love it.
But today’s review is really because of the new lady there. She was cleaning every table, and it seemed like she was making sure everything was clean, or at least disinfected. When I arrived to pick up my order, I left my change as a tip. She called out to the kitchen staff and said, “Tips!” and everyone replied, “THANK YOU!”
I got excited, lol, and left even more tips. :)
Then, when she handed me my order, she said, “Thank you, have a nice day, and come visit again.” It blew my mind. I have never heard that from anyone at that place, haha. I got outside and checked again if I was at the same place.
Anyway, thank you for keeping the same taste all these years, and please keep that young lady there. She is perfect as a host.
Thank you!“

“Loved the food here! I went here with friends and family for the first time, very memorable! We went as a larger group of around 12 people. At first the staff told us that we would have to wait 30 minutes, but instead they decided to push a few tables together—so we could sit. It was very kind and thoughtful of them!! I absolutely loved the food, the sanji and dumplings being my absolute favorite! My least favorite dish was the chili pepper chicken, it tasted acidic and me and my friends ate the rice rather the chicken. Its personal preference though, so you might like it! The atmosphere was very nice and personally very cute in numerous ways!“

“Best Chinese food in Chicago! The Kung Pao Chicken is one of my favorites along with their Pork Fried Rice, but I have enjoyed many of their dishes - BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers, Beef Chop Suey on crispy chow mein noodles - all delicious. The servings are large - plenty to share or take home for tomorrow's lunch. All the staff are friendly and efficient, and you can eat in, pickup or order delivery. Try House of Wah Sun; you won't be disappointed.“

“Food is great, big portions for both chicken and rice dishes and the prices are affordable. The owner is so nice, & although I’ve only gotten take out, the restaurant itself is cute inside. Only thing that makes me SO sad is the fortune cookies are ads!!! So dystopian :( it kind of ruined my favorite part, please go back to regular fortunes!!!“

“Wow truly a hidden Gem! 🤩 A must try for Chinese lovers!! My boyfriend got me dinner from here~ he grew up in the area & we are in our 30s so that shows how long they’ve been around! I got the sweet & sour chicken which is amazing! I LOVE that the fried chicken pieces are separate from the sauce~ the chicken stays crispy!! Very tasty! The employee was also very sweet! Definitely take out only vibes. Cash only as well! We’ll be back for sure! Thank you🔥“

“Love this place so much. Their lunch specials are fantastic. The portions are generous. The prices are very reasonable. The owner is lovely. Their tofu dishes are flavorful, orange chicken is savory and delicious, the spicy garlic shrimp is my favorite. I think their egg rolls are better than House of Wah Sun. Would give more stars if possible.“

“The coziest spot for Chinese comfort dishes! Everything was honestly delicious. Plus the service was so friendly and great! The portions are huge — great for sharing multiple plates with a group. The sesame chicken breading is perfect. The lo fon noodles were delicious.“

“The food is always solid, poIite staff, pretty fast outside of lunch/dinner hour. If you are looking for a recommendation, you can't go wrong with the basics: chicken fried rice, orange chicken, egg foo young, or wonton soup. Items I also recommend: Mongolian beef or salt and pepper shrimp.
I eat there so frequently I felt it's time I owed them the rating they deserve.“

“The guy that answered the phone and took my order could have sounded like he was interested or at least a little bit friendly. Other than that I do have to say they're sweet and sour chicken is probably the best around. They're fried rice is also delicious. It's been a while since I was there so when I go back I'll update on the next dish that I get. All in all it's definitely good food.“

“The food is good but make sure to check your bag I tipped and asked her did she put soy sauce in the bag and she said yes knowing she didn’t and I have a large shrimp fried rice for little ones and no sauce ugh I’m more mad at the lie if it was a accident then ok but for me ask and tip and not get what I asked for is a slap in the face!“

“Order the Thai Red Curry off the takeout menu... it is our favorite dish. In fact, the staff at Jin Asian knows our order when we walk in the door. I get the chicken, my fiance gets the beef, and we have them add mushrooms to both. That, plus the Crab Rangoon with apricot-based sauce, makes one of my favorite meals in the city. The restaurant is never crowded, and the service is very friendly.“

“We have been getting delivery from #1 Chop Suey for over 10 years. Delivery is often very fast and the food arrives hot. Prices are affordable and portions are large. Some of our favorites: chicken wings, teriyaki beef stick, chicken egg foo young, General Tsao's chicken, & Singapore noodles. I often get a side of broccoli in white sauce so I'm getting some vegetables. I've not eaten there but the woman who takes the order is always pleasant as are the delivery people.“

“We ordered from here and it was an awesome find! They have a lot of typical looking dish that I have not tried but I will talk about what I did order. First I got the egg rolls and my wife and I both agreed they were very good. I do think they could use a bit more Chinese five spice or something to make them a bit more flavorful. The chicken with spicy garlic sauce was very delicious and tasted fresh and I loved all the veg they added. A solid Chinese dish. The one thing that is great about this place is they master the Chinese and Korean dishes. The Cha Chiang Mien (Korean jajangmyeon noodles) is a popular dish here and it’s no wonder. It is so decadent and amazing! Loved this so much!!! Also had something very unique and equally amazing and that was Spicy Noodle Platter with shrimp, squid, pork and veggies in a savory spicy sauce. This is really awesome! Probably one of my new favorite Asian dishes. I will try more of their food but this first experience was incredible! Yumm!!“

“Great spot with friendly people. Went there a little late after the night market and didn’t realize they were going to be closing soon. Super kind about it and had no issues serving us or letting us stay, even though we ended up taking the food to go so they could close up.
Food was delicious as well! Combo fried rice has a lot of meat, honey shrimp was crisp, and eggplant tofu was perfectly cooked.“

“Quiet hole in the wall spot with some of the best food in the area. The owner is kind and works really hard to make quality food. A lot of Chinese American restaurants can have a sort of mass produced feel and use the same suppliers but you can tell a lot of love and pride goes into the food here.“

“This is a Chinese pick up place for food. Never been disappointed with an order the quality of the food is outstanding the service is always very friendly and I always get parking in the small parking lot it's easy to find on the corner Irving in California next to Horner Park in a 7-Eleven parking lot. It's my go-to place for not outrageously priced Chinese food. Recommended the specials.“
“Kind of expensive. Cabbage with a few drops of bacon $16.. two small spicy hotpot fish didn't taste so fresh sliced into 4 filets $50. Overall atmosphere is good and clean and plates are brought out by robots first before the server put them on the table. Overall probably would go back again but not ordering those two items.“

“This was really good, I had the combination rice and the orange chicken and I've had their dumplings in the past, all have been really good. The fried rice had a very good portion size and plenty of protein, the orange chicken was tasty, just your classic American orange chicken. The dumplings were decent even though the wrapper was a bit thick. I'd say this is a really good bang for buck place.“

“Hoanh Long in North Park is straight fire. Hit it up for lunch – kicked things off with two shrimp spring rolls, then a massive beef pho and spicy lemongrass stir-fry with tofu. Broth legit rich, stir‑fry packed with flavor, and the portions were huge—perfect Chicago-style appetite. Chill café feels, service super friendly, and parking’s doable before 7pm. Can’t wait to go back!“

“This place is one of the best restaurants I've been to in the northern suburbs, it's hard to find good Sichuan style Chinese food but this place has it. I got the twice cooked chili fish was my favorite dish, the Mongolian beef had thick cuts of tender beef and seafood garlic fried rice was full of shrimp scallops mussels and fish. The menu has so much to choose from, I look forward to visiting again“

“Food was pretty good in you're in a pinch, plus they open early. The interior is cozy and neat and their service was quick and amicable. Ordered chicken curry, chicken fried rice, and a couple of eggrolls. The eggrolls were pretty standard and the fried rice was tasty, albeit just a bit too oily, and the chicken curry was fragrant and scrumptious but not as spicy as I would have preferred. Overall, quite decent. Cheers!“

“We ordered three items from the restaurant and all of them were really good. However the Chow Mein (Fideo Tostado) with Crispy Noodles, was missing the crispy noodles. We reported this in the app, and the restaurant gave that item to us for free. We are giving five stars because of the exceptional customer service.“
