“Convito cafe has long been one of our favorites. Our kids give us gift card every Christmas. Consistent quality , keeping old faves on menu along with specials per season. Tonight my husband loved the calves liver and I loved the fettuccini with fro magic and peas and pancetta. We each enjoyed the Caesar salads. That's fromagia not magic. And your desserts are always yummy!“

“Has a nice ambience when you walk in. Food is always good, it's one of the reasons we come back. Clean and nicely decorated, I appreciate coming in and seeing the Christmas decorations. We are Eastern Orthodox Christians and celebrate Christmas on the 7th so it's nice to see the decorations.“

“We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie Grass Cafe. The spring rolls were loaded with delicious perfectly cooked shrimp and the accompanying sauce (sweet chili with garlic and cilantro) plays nicely with them. The flounder with roasted carrots and parsnip-potato purée was as delicious as it looks. It was generously portioned and beautifully plated. We also enjoyed the mussels with parsley, shallots, and breadcrumbs pasta. My husband is Sicilian and it reminded us of the pasta con le sarde that we love to have in Sicily. The mussels were plump and delicious. The wine list is very nice. We found wines we really enjoyed and they were reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Attems, Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy ‘22 with our mussels and flounder, and the Fritz Haag, Riesling, Germany ‘21 with our pumpkin pie for dessert. Service was perfect.“

“My flight got canceled so it was the end of a long day when I finally made it to the Hilton Garden Inn, but the service at the hotel was great and the Cobb salad at the restaurant tasted like I had just picked everything fresh from the garden. Definitely stay here again!“

Bar tender was excellent, but she had too many people to serve by herself, the people Sitting at the bar and all the bar tables. They should have 2 people behind bar to wait on tables and bar. “I had a great time wine tasting here! We sat out on their patio, which was secluded and quiet. The perfect armosphere for a catch up with friends or a date night. The food is delicious too. My favorite was the shrimp ceviche. On Wednesdays, they do happy hour specials on tasting flights! I really enjoyed the Mediterranean white flight. Their broader wine list is also incredibly diverse, representing many regions and flavors. I’ll definitely be back!“

They were so nice, engaged with everyone, and my son loved the men working and he’s two so he loved doing fist bumps and they even cut his chicken tenders up for me so they would cool faster. I still dream about that burger and these dishes we had. I remember the taste of the white salsify with mussel — I learned that day what salsify was.

food: 5/5 no notes. their tubs filled with pickled goodness were so fun! everything was delish!

service: all the staff was great, our waitress was attentive and efficient. she left us alone and came over when called. the chefs were very cool! we got to watch them while at the counter and they gave us some stories. they even comped us for our anniversary dessert and my fiance still thinks about their ice cream LOL

atmosphere: sexy, moody, intimate. all the good things of a date night. and a great playlist!“

“Sooo Goood. The calamari was perfectly breaded and the citrus aioli sauce was delicious. My Asada y Papas was melting in my mouth. Highly recommended.“
