“Absolutely love the pumpkin pancakes so much, that I get them every visit! And summer the lemon blueberry. We ask for Layla every time, she knows what we drink and brings them before we ever ask. She jokes with my husband which he loves. She's funny, super sweet and such a great waitress. We've been coming here for a few months now, after leaving another pancake place, because of the food and service here. We bring all of out out of town guests here and upon a return visit this is where they want to come. Layla makes each visit the best part of our day!”

The food was was not salty or greasy and had excellent flavor, which reminded me of good Mexican restaurants in southern California. The salsa was mild but flavorful and not salty. I didn't ask about medium or hot salsa because mild was good for us. My Shrimp Fajita was the best I've had with perfectly seared shrimp and tender but not overcooked or burned vegetables. My companions also loved their Mole Poblano and Beef Mexiote. The fried ice cream and churros were very good for dessert. I recommend it, and we will definitely be back soon.”

We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. We grabbed seats at the bar last night, where Maritza proved she can shake a cocktail like nobody’s business. The carbonara is my go-to—hands down the best I’ve had this side of, well, Italy. The oysters are my favorite in Indy, always perfectly shucked, and the wine list makes me grin every time I spot my favorite Vermentino. You don’t have to be a neighbor to feel like one once you’re at Bocca!”

I get iffy dining out because it’s not a cheap thing to do and if you get a bad server or the food sucks it truly ruins the experience. The food was incredible as well… the empanadas, cauliflower (I was shooooocked over this dish)… birria and steak… the happily birthday churros were so cute and added a cherry on top for the whole experience. “I am not usually inclined to leave a review, but I feel as tonight's visit warrants a call out. As a parent that has a child with a gluten allergy we know the struggles of finding places out to eat. We have had Azzip a few times, but have always ordered ahead of time online then drove to the store to pick it up. This evening, we found ourselves out on errands and in the area and decided Azzip had been a safe choice in the past so we made our way there. The store was not busy, but there people ahead of us and behind us and I felt the protocol followed didn't slow the process terribly but I want to commend the staff for taking it seriously. What I witnessed: 2 people working the line making the pizza on the "ingredients" side of the oven. my kid informed them of the gluten free need and they asked if it was preference or allergy. my kid informed them of allergy. they cleared the line of the previous pizza being made once cleared, they stripped their gloves and cleaned the work space and the sauce bottle my kid wanted on their pizza a cooking mat from a separate area was produced and the cauliflower crust requested was added all the toppings requested were added then the pizza was placed in the oven. there was communication to the receiving team member that an allergen pizza was coming afterwards, my other kid and my pizza were started only after the 1st was placed in the oven. after the gluten free pizza came out of the oven, I noticed the cutting instrument was different than what was used for the other pizzas we ordered. Our experiences thus far is many people don't understand what Celiac disease is and how gluten can harm the body of those affected. It is more than just the ingredients consumed; cross contamination is the true problem. Seeing the team execute the procedure with care warmed my heart as I know it takes a lot of effort to create the process, then train to it and then to follow it. My appreciation to the team! We will definitely be back!”

“This is the ONLY place in Indy that you can get grape boba that actually tastes amazing. I love this drink so much 20/10. The cheese foam on top is also perfect, no notes on the boba balls either cuz they’re so good. They have a very very big menu of drinks, which I love.

Their food menu is also big as well. I tried their spicy tonkatsu ramen and I thought it was just okay. However, I do want to try their other food items as well and will definitely go back to do that.”

We spoke with the owner and she and her husband make everything fresh and healthy just like how they eat at home. They cook with olive oil (no soybean vegetable oil at all!) And sauces and marinades are all made from scratch. I love the kebabs and the baklava is soooo gooood. I'm so impressed with this place!”

Our party of 4 started the the BLT small plate, which featured a delicious, perfectly cooked fried pickled green tomato, topped with pimento cheese, a piece of pork belly, and a luscious tomato jam. We also tried Grandma Daisy’s angel biscuits, which were substantial biscuits served with honey chicken jus, sea salt, and toasted benne seeds to be added as desired. Entrees selected were the chicken and waffle (served with bourbon maple syrup and the most AMAZING hot honey/Tabasco sauce. The shrimp and grits (with fantastic tomato confit, andouillle sausage, and sinfully delicious beer jus), short rib “meatloaf” ( shredded and compressed into a rectangular shape and char grilled, which all at the table tasted and salivated over), and the cedar plank salmon served with the most tasty thyme and lemon rice casserole (which was surprising to both females at the table as to the amount of lemon but was absolutely divine). A huge shout out goes to our server Imani F, who was knowledgeable, personable, and very good at explaining exactly what we were being presented with as she served us. First class all the way!”

“My girlfriends and I have known Joe for many years- from when he worked at Buck Creek Winery. He is The BEST! Now that I have finally visited the shop 2 days in a row- I know why everyone raves about Heartland. Last night there was a great crew working! The teens were very personable and friendly. They offered us a sample. Everything tasted sooo good. If you know how great Joe is- you won't be surprised that he has a phenomenal group of employees representing his shop. As for the ice cream...my youngest son LOVED the Superman. I chose Cornbread and Coffee Cookie. Sooooo good! You HAVE to try the Cornbread ice cream! It is the most unique, delicious ice cream ever! I had to get it again today. My oldest son came this time and he sampled Cornbread. He liked it so much- that is what he ordered, too! The Cookies and Cream is also to die for! I love how easy it is to sign up for the rewards program. We also loved how many options we had to choose from on the menu. If I can ever tear myself away from the Cornbread ice cream- I would like to try the Italian Ice. It was great to see you today, Joe! What a wonderful business you are building. “Cannot recommend Marrakesh enough! Mussels and bread for appetizer were SO tasty. We didn’t know anything about Moroccan food walking in and our server was very helpful. The Tajines we ordered for our entrees were too good. SO much flavor! Super chic atmosphere too. Do not skip on the Baklava! Might be the best I’ve ever had. Loved the NA cocktail options too. Only positive things to say about our experience! We will be back.”

“This Horror-themed coffee shop is very visually appealing! Horror movies are not a huge thing for me as they actually make me laugh, but I like different so I have been wanting to try this place! It is a small area to sit in, but we went on a late Monday morning to which it was not as busy! The latte I had was filled with good flavor! And Alex got a smoothie which I had to try and it was amazing! He loved it as well! The barista was so beyond friendly! Very top notch! Good vibes and wonderful drinks! Definitely recommend!
