“I am very upset with place today. I come here often and have never had an issue. we have been waiting over an hour for a table which is fine but i went inside to order and pay for a mimosa at the bar while we wait and the lady told me I cannot order one because they are "too busy" The bar was not full. This place is usually on point and today it wasn't and I'm very disappointed as we brought people with us who have never been here... This is not the way to run a resturaunt. Hopefully things change“

“Decided to try this establishment as we have passed it for a while. It may have said it was a Red Bird fried 🐔🍗 chicken but also was a daiquiris shop. Ordered our food, wife got a chicken sandwich 🥪 with fries 🍟 and I got a breast and wing with fries 🍟. After a short time our food was served. Wife got what she ordered and I got a drumstick 🍗 and a back, completely opposite of what I ordered. Upon going back to the register the manager asked what was wrong and I explained what was wrong and said immediately corrected the problem. Kudos to the manager. The young man that took out order was wearing dark sunglasses 😎 while he took out order and afterwards he took them off. Food was hot 🥵 and tasty.“

“I’m a local who has dined at many N.O. restaurants and Cafe Amelie is my favorite. Charming atmosphere and THE BEST food and drinks!“

“One of my favorite coffee shops in the city. Doesn’t seem to be over-run with tourists which is so nice as a local that works remote. The food and coffee is AMAZING. The food is some of the best i’ve had in the city out of any restaurant i’ve been to… and this is a coffee shop. I’ve never even liked scones and now like scones (but only from here). The decor is so cute and bathroom always smells nice. Hours are later than most coffee shops. Only qualm is I had an Irish coffee which just tasted like alcohol (very strong) I couldn’t taste the coffee in it and the tables are too small to fit a drink, food and something to work on (such as a laptop or notebook). Otherwise everything is perfect!!“

“The fancy drinks 🍹 are titillating and the appetizers are fantastic. However, the entrees were not impressive. The chicken was served undercooked and the shrimp dish was overcooked and very greasy. Ambiance is what you pay for here and the delicate mix of intoxicating flavors in their cocktails! Staff is very friendly!“

Nostalgia is a great name since I enjoyed showing all of the arcade games from my childhood to my son.“

“This restaurant is an absolute Jem. The food has yet to disappoint and the prices are fair for the portions. The owner is very nice and seems to really care for his business. This has quickly become one of my favorite places to find authentic middle eastern food.
P.S. Don't forget the Grocery part too. I'm like a fat kid in a candy store when I'm in there.“

“This little shop, adjoining Small Mart, offers delicious coffee, lattes, and espresso. The staff members are so friendly and helpful you feel like you could just take them home with you for an extended visit! There are a few little tables, a few counter seats, and this coziness, rather than a distraction, adds to the feeling of comfortableness and community. Lovely artwork on the walls, interesting things to look at and read everywhere you turn, and such delicious, beautifully made hot drinks. A great place for the start of the day.“

“Celtica has fast become our new favorite breakfast place. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. The vibe is a pleasant mixture depending on the time of visit but mostly very friendly mixture of gen x and millennials. The only hang up i have is the available seating, this place needs more seating as it is gaining popularity quickly.“

“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“

“This is the cutest coffee stop in NOLA! My favorite is a lightly sweet Moxie over ice. I love stopping here when I am visiting from out of town. Super cute, friendly staff, always good coffee. I even picked up a sweatshirt and a bag of Cherry coffee to take home last time I visited. 10/10 recommend it all.

“My fiancé and I came here to get some food to take back to our hotel and even in to-go cups and containers, everything was DELICIOUS! We’re from Utah and have never had beignets or really Southern food in general - I got the BBQ shrimp & grits, my fiancé got the red beans & rice, and we shared the three beignets. It was spicier than we expected, but even for not caring for spicy food myself, it was soooo yummy and WAY more filling than expected also! If you get your food to-go, make sure you stir it!!! We didn’t eat the beignets until after a six hour nap ?, but they still slapped too. 3 for $4.75 was a great price for them, we overall paid $33 and didn’t get drinks. Atmosphere was cute but super crowded.
Will visit again if we find ourselves in Nola another time!
