“These are the best and most unique cheesecakes that I have ever eaten, and Duly is a kind and awesome human. I highly recommend the Vietnamese Coffee and the OG Burnt, and the specialty flavors of ube as well as durian were also delicious! It's a super easy ordering and pickup experience, there are often fun samples to try, the fillings are always perfectly creamy and the crust pairs perfectly, and Duly is always dreaming up delectable, one-of-a-kind flavors. If I could afford to, I would try every cake Duly makes, with lots of repeat orders!“

“We were visiting from out of town and were recommended by a friend to try this cafe out. It was absolutely amazing. The prices were extremely reasonable and the pastries themselves were fantastic. They looked incredible and tasted wonderful. I was able to get a decent London Fog in Boston (which is something I had a hard time finding). I got a coffee bean pastry which had an amazing chocolate/coffee mousse flavor (and texture)! My son got a cinnamon roll which he loved. My other son was having a hard time choosing and the person behind the counter was so sweet and gave him a cream filled pastry that they had extras of. This cafe is high end, but without the high end price tags. If I’m ever in Boston again, I will definitely come back. 1000% would recommend.“

“Solid ground cafe has one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. My son has frequent inpatient stays at Childrens. This is the perfect quick walk to get a great breakfast and coffee.“

The Italian Caprese Toast Sandwich was fresh and flavorful, while the Chicken Salad Croissant and Classic Ham & Cheese Croissant were buttery, flaky, and absolutely delicious. I also loved their pastries – the Blueberry Cheese Danish and Blueberry Mascarpone Slice were light yet indulgent, and the Strawberry Cake Slice was the perfect sweet treat.

Their smoothies are amazing too – you can really taste the difference with the 100% real fruit. The Berry Berry Smoothie was refreshing, the Mango Smoothie was tropical and smooth, and the Harvest Green Smoothie felt both healthy and tasty.

The cake was sponge like, butter cream & strawberries were amazing. Just hands down the best cake & not too over priced either! This cafe has an amazing European atmosphere with top notch cappuccino that has complex flavors - definitely not your typical brew that often has too much milk froth. We absolutely love this place! The only thing that could possibly make it better is if they added fresh squeezed orange juice, or at least some good bottled juice options.“

“This is a super popular cafe, in a very famous spot, hence there is almost always a queue to get in the cafe. Best suited for take away orders. This place is popular for its Matcha and that’s by far the best in the area. They have added a good variety of flavors, and at times they do run out of the popular ones like Pistachio. The staff are really nice, they are so busy yet they take and deliver the orders with smile, are very patient with customer queries, and make sure that they inform customers about the ingredients and check for any allergy to those ingredients. They do have a very small seating area, however given the small size of the shop it’s rather inconvenient to sit there, as it’s very loud and hard to hold a conversation or work on your device. “This place has all the advantages of the Caffe Nero that it used to be without any of the disadvantages. In other word's it's spacious, has a variety of furniture and seating options (equally good spot for solo laptop work, relaxed book time, group meeting), lots of outlets, nice big windows, a great menu with reasonable price point. Compared to before the business turned over the coffee is better (IMO) and cheaper and the place no longer feels depressing in that way that carbon copy coffee franchises do. The people who work here are so nice and there is always a place to sit! In fact it's too easy to find a spot—please visit Cafe Lava and Bento and support this business so that we can keep them around.“
