“I came to the Hummus Shop for a quick lunch before heading to a flight.

It’s a fairy hidden place, but there’s a sign on the street — you just have to go down the hallway. It’s a cozy spot with limited seating.

It was my first time here and the person working at the front was very helpful in ordering and walking me through the menu. They have a few main options based on their proteins. I got a pita with the eggplant. It was great!!! They were very flexible in making this vegan by replacing the egg with a couple of falafels.

Great food to go and it was delicious as well, the sauces were especially good. It was messy to eat but that’s what makes it fun!

Would definitely recommend, I hope to be back to try the vegan “chicken” as well.“

“After leaving the aquarium, I found this incredibly cheap little place with high ratings on both Google Maps and Yelp, so I decided to check it out.

Boomin’ Beef Rendang: This was my first time trying rendang, so I can't comment on its authenticity, but I'm certain it was delicious. It's very similar to a typical Chinese home-style beef brisket stew, just with a subtle touch of coconut milk and curry. The beef was perfectly marbled with fat and lean, stewed until incredibly tender and flavorful; the thick sauce clung to the meat and permeated the rice, making every bite a rich and aromatic experience. The potatoes were soft and tender, and the green beans had a slightly crunchy texture, both perfectly balanced. It's worth mentioning that the meat portion was huge; nearly half-bowl in the picture was completely filled with beef. While it's not anything fancy, it was really satisfying to eat it quickly without worry.

With a coupon from a delivery platform, it only cost $10+, making it excellent value. If you don't mind the ambiance, you can pick it up yourself and eat on the bench outside the restaurant“

“Birdies Hot Chicken is a locally owned spot that has quietly built one of the stronger reputations for fried chicken in the Boston area, and the tenders are where that reputation is easiest to understand.

The chicken comes out juicy and well crusted, with a batter that stays crispy without being thick or greasy, and the seasoning underneath does more work than most hot chicken spots bother with. The heat is the headline but the flavor is what keeps you coming back, and the two are balanced well enough that even at higher spice levels the chicken still tastes like something rather than just burning.

For folks who like a lighter meal, the Hong Kong style rice noodles are absolutely delicious and the peanut sauce they offer is perfect on them. I go here about twice a week and it's delicious every time!“

“First, Chick-fil-A usually has great customer service. There is usually nothing missing in the order. Typically, I have not issues with the food. This time the chicken and fries seemed like they were possibly fried in a different type of oil. There’s a distinct odor that the chicken and fries had. I was barely able to eat the food the time.That’s said, i’ve noticed the same odor to other area restaurants that fry food (not just Chick-fil-A )

“I was in Boston for a day and needed something to eat to hold me down for a few hours. I found this place inside a whole foods. It was weird. Nobody was there to take my order. I thought it was closed, but the hours stated it was open. I noticed the option of placing my order online via a QR code. So I did. 10 minutes later my food arrived. For the record, it was 1 BBQ burger. It looked like something you'd get at McDonald's. And tasted like the Rodeo Cheeseburger at Burger King. Actually brought back lots of memories from my childhood. Really good in a junk food kind of way. The menu actually had lots of options, all fast food inspired. I would love to go back and try it all. A bit pricy tho. “Ordered their double turkey burger with lettuce instead of a bun and a garden salad. Ate the salad first and it was big, which was phenomenal. The turkey burger was juicy, the sauce was great and the lettuce wrap was green and not some iceberg junk. I would definitely order from there again. Oh, and the price was great too.“

Satisfied, I bought some tacos and churros. The prices were more than reasonable, most things almost unbelievably affordable. The staff was friendly and respectable. “Had Amelia Cluck & Smash near Northeastern last week and I can confidently say I’ve entered my chicken sandwich era.

The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was easily the star of the meal. Perfectly crispy, juicy, and balanced with that sweet-and-spicy combo that just works. Honestly, no complaints there — a true 10/10 sandwich.

We also tried the smash burger, tacos, and churros. Everything was solid, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a quick comfort-food stop. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely hits the craving.

The chicken fingers were hot, crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The Texas toast was buttery and delicious, and the fries paired really well with the famous Cane’s sauce. The food came out fast even though the place was busy.

“We stopped at Oliveiras Express after a long walk by the Charles River with the whole family, and it was exactly what we needed. Everyone was tired and hungry, and this place was such a great find.

The space is super clean and bright, and it just feels good when you walk in. The staff was kind and welcoming, and they didn’t rush us while we decided what to get. That always makes a difference when you’re there with kids.

The food was honestly delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and filling in the best way. The easiest way to explain it is Brazilian Chipotle. You build your bowl or plate with rice, beans, meats, and toppings, but the flavors are pure Brazil. Everything tasted homemade and well seasoned.

It’s also right across from Blackbird Donuts, so grabbing dessert after was the perfect ending to the afternoon. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back. Definitely a five star spot.“

“3 of us stopped here for dinner. Service is great and friendly. I had to go to the bar to order our drinks since the waitress was not very familiar with the liquor menu. We had the vegetarian and non-vegetarian platters for appetizer. We also had briyani, vindaloo and aloo channa - with garlic naan. Food was fantastic - really enjoyed it. We finished of kulfi and gulab jamun. The desserts felt store bought and were nothing to write home about“
