“Such a unique and special experience and meal. I went in without a reservation and was able to get a seat. Coolest restaurant menu I’ve ever seen, annotated with so much meaning and history behind every ingredient and dish. I ordered two drinks, a main, and a side. Everything was delicious. After eating, I spent some time sipping a drink on the couch/lounge area looking at their books. An immersive cultural experience. I will be back. You can tell this place has so much love and energy behind it.“

“A cute little neighborhood shop in West Roxbury. I came here on a weekend afternoon and the place was full of people inside and out enjoying a cup of gelato. You can learn the difference between ice cream and gelato from their wall decor while you decide on what flavor to get. I had high hopes for this gelato and it didn't disappoint. I got pistachio and creme brulee and definitely preferred the pistachio more. It had a light flavor that was creamy, but not overpowering. The gelato had a good texture to it and I would love to go back to try out the other flavors.“

“Solid ice cream shop. It is family owned and sauces and ice cream flavors are made there too. You can sample ice cream flavors before deciding on your order. Recently bought banana lazy bar and it was delicious. Who knew banana flavored ice cream can be decadent and tasty. It doesn't have any bitter artificial aftertaste. The crumble outside wasn't crazy sweet and had a lovely texture.“

“Best Donut shop I have ever experienced. I went in at 8:30am. Was warmly greeted and asked if it was my first time. They gave me a quick overview of the menu. I ordered a Large Iced Cafe Mocha, Bacon Egg and Cheese on a Bagel and a Peanut Butter Paradise donut. I also bout a little $3 blue rubber ducky to support charity.I am very impressed. My drink tastes great. The bagel sandwich is so good! Bagel is toasted but still soft, which I say as a good thing. The bacon tastes fresh and delicious. Egg and cheese are on point. There is no drive through but it was worth stopping by. Plenty of parking. The food and drink were done quickly. It was very clean and organized.I will be back for sure. There was no wait today however in time I think this place is going to have a line out the door in the morning. It was good enough I was compelled to write a review while sitting in my car sipping my iced mocha and eating my sandwich. I hope this business does well and is around for a long time.Parking: Plenty of parking. It is in the same lot as the Walpole mall. Right next to Texas Roadhouse. Many entrances and exits to the parking lot.“

“We've been going to Cha Yen regularly since they opened, and their Thai food is a blessing to the Watertown community! The food is always delicious and fresh, and they are excellent at accommodating substitutions. We normally do takeout, but dine in is also great and we can't wait until they open their larger space across the street. If you are looking for excellent Thai food, give Cha Yen a chance!“

“Amorino Gelato on Newbury Street offers a delightful gelato experience, with excellent service, a charming interior, and high-quality, flavorful gelato that sets it apart.Full/Extended Version:My visit to Amorino Gelato on Newbury Street was a delightful experience from start to finish. Located in a bustling area full of enticing bubble tea spots, restaurants, and a nearby Trader Joe's, Amorino stands out as a gem for gelato lovers. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service we received. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their gelato offerings, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The interior of the gelateria was charming, with a cozy ambiance that invited us to sit and savor our gelato. But the true star of the show was, of course, the gelato itself. Amorino's gelato is a cut above the rest, offering a natural denser, richer flavor than traditional ice cream. Each scoop was bursting with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The variety of flavors and the way they were presented, shaped like a blooming flower, added to the overall experience.Whether you're in the mood for a classic flavor like stracciatella or something more adventurous like mango or pistachio, you can expect nothing but the best from Amorino. Each flavor we tried was delicious, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention went into crafting each batch of gelato. If you're in the mood for some delicious gelato in a charming setting with excellent service, look no further than Amorino Gelato on Newbury Street. It's a perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth and indulge in a scoop (or two) of high-quality, flavorful gelato.“

“I came to try the cookies and cream butter donut and cookie monster mochi donuts. They didn't have the blue butter donut so I got the Ube one. I didn't like it with the coco shreds on top and the consistency wasn't as good either, maybe because it was gluten free I'm not sure, but the mochi donuts were ??, cookies and cream may be the best one I've had anywhere, would definitely come back for it and hopefully they'll have the big blue one.“

“There are many ice cream flavors and different sizes to choose from. I ordered three flavors: 3B, Earl gray, and Kulfi. They were all delicious. Among them, 3B (brown sugar, brown butter, brownie) is the signature flavor and the most amazing. It has a strong creamy aroma and is surprisingly not overly sweet. , paired with brownie to make the taste richer. Earl Gray tea has a very elegant taste. The aroma of bergamot comes first in the mouth, and the tea flavor comes out later, with an endless aftertaste. Kulfi is cardamom-flavored ice cream with chopped nuts. It feels like drinking Indian spiced milk tea. There is a large table and some sofas in the store, and there is also water for guests to take by themselves, which is very considerate.“
“The ice cream is fabulous AND they have vegan options too. Everything is homemade, including the baked goods. There is also a small section for a variety of candy. The owner and staff are super nice. Service is outstanding. I highly recommend- this as a must try if you visit the north end.“

“Finally, got to try This place. They had soft Opening which was not to best. The ordering process was pretty smooth . The wait was not to long. We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“

“I’ve gone with my grandfather and mom to Cabot’s for over 10+ years. They have the best ice cream! Highly recommend the Patriot Parfait: A tower of Strawberry, and Vanilla ice cream with strawberry and blueberry sauce, with whipped cream and a cherry on top. They also have tasty reuben sandwiches. Staff are friendly, and the owner is lovely. Usually a bit of a wait, but that’s due to how popular the restaurant is. They also sell ice cream birthday cakes, if you are looking for that.“
“One of my favorite places to get creemees (soft serve), the prices have gotten a little high and the girls at the counter a little more focused on their gossip then your order. The parking situation can be tricky as well. Still has my heart“

“Amazing Vegan Ice cream. I have a dairy allergy and I’ve tried a lot of different vegan desserts. These taste exactly like the regular desserts. I had the grasshopper pie with hot fudge and it was amazing. You can even buy toppings for at home use - I bought a jar of hot fudge! Also I love the take a drawing/poem and leave one. I want to do it next time! Would love to see a vegan ice cream flight! Or little ice cream sandwiches.“

“Located near Harvard Square, we strolled around and came upon this dessert haven. They have a ton of flavors to choose from, and they give out samples if requested. It wasn't crowded when I came, so we didn't have an issue perusing the selection, which includes desserts beyond gelato. We went with the dulce de leche and the hazelnut, both of which were packed with flavor. One scoop as a bigger scoop than others, but I am happy to get a little extra, just noting it wasn't consistent. There are a few tables inside to sit and enjoy or it's a handy treat to take around and walk.“

“Greet ice cream shop with a huge menu. My father brought me coconut ice cream from here as that's one of the only flavors I typically like and I was very surprised by how good it was. “Good ice cream but really no better than JP Licks and even more expensive. Unfortunately things happen really slow and they don't give you any napkins by default. It's freaking ice cream so you will need those napkins. I just get really annoyed having to go back to the window and wait minutes for a couple napkins! JP Licks however have several napkins dispensers at the registers.“

“Generally I don't care for boba tea.But was craving some brown sugar boba tea. And some of my other usual spots were either too busy or too hard.I liked the fact I could choose the sweetness level which was nice. Did a 30% sugar tea, and got a egg waffle (also recommended)Tasted good, drank the whole tea, and the ice cream was good too. Venue was cute, but nothing mind blowing. The girl who worked the counter was effective. Not a bad spot for a quick fix.“

“Prices increases a little but quality of the food is still good. I always get their Clam strip dinner which comes with only fries. Wish they offered Cole slaw with it if you're charging $22-$23 for the dinner portion . Cheeseburger cooked fresh from the grill. Onions minced up like McDonald's. I believe their lobster rolls are $22 now? Not bad . Great customer service and clean environment after renovations. Overall, like many places, prices slightly have gone up but portion size the same . A little sad soft serve ice cream is double the price now lol $4.50 for soft serve on a cone . Time has changed .“

“Big scoops and wallet friendly, this Quincy institution brings together nostalgia and classic ice cream flavors. The ice cream is pretty standard - no crazy flavors and none of the extra creaminess you get from freshly made ice cream. However, it still hits the spot in a hot day when you want to hit up an old school ice cream stand. They have a few parking spaces in the front but it can be tough to navigate on a busy day.“

“I have such fond memories coming here throughout the years. I was originally introduced to this location a few years ago by the kids I babysat, since they lived in Waltham and the Belmont Center location was closer than the Newtonville one. We kept going back and it was delicious every time! My go to flavor is the hydrox cookies and cream. It won't let you down! The staff is mainly juniors and seniors in high school and they're so nice to guests and are hustling on the job (and supporting eachother on their college adventures which you love to see). There's not many seats inside but that was never a problem for us. Besides, it's nicely located in Belmont Center so you can also walk around a bit, or sit outside if you'd like. :)“

“After having a quick bite from up the street, I decided I wanted to satisfy my ice cream craving. This was my first time trying Honeycomb creamery and man, oh man, this place did not disappoint. I wanted to try a flavor first, before ordering, but quickly learned they do not do samples. I decided to go with what the worker who was helping me suggested, and I definitely left this place a happy lady! I got a small size in a cup, with a matcha cone of one scoop honey lavender and one scoop of caramel crackle. I have never tried honey lavender flavor in an ice cream and was interested due to all the reviews. The honey lavender was good, but not my cup of tea... the star of the show for me was the salted caramel crackle! The mango sorbet was also delicious, by the way! They also offer other treats such as cookies and brownies. We went on a Tuesday and I was super intrigued by the Tuesday Taco special but decided to just get a small size first to try. Honeycomb creamery, I will most definitely be coming back soon :)“

“Pro: Best (Kulfi) cardamom ice cream in the state. It’s a mouth journey of flavors in a bite. Balanced flavor of nutty, milky/creamy, sweet, and a dash of the right amount of minty/earthy from the cardamom to top it all off.Con: Parking especially if you’re traveling alone.P.s I’ve tried another place’s cardamom ice cream it didn’t have the same kick/blast of those flavors mentioned above“
“They were closing for season 11/26; so had to stop in for a graham central station cone. Excellent flavor . Ordered small cone and was a good size double scoop. “APR. 2024 UPDATEPro-tip: If you download the app and create an account, you will get a welcome reward for a free affogato.I claimed my reward today. The vibes were much better on a Friday night than the last time I was here. Very lively and different workers who were much more inviting. Gotta say, though, if I had to pay for this affogato, I would have been sorely disappointed. Although the coffee was strong and good, the execution was bad: the steaming hot coffee was immediately poured over the ice cream, so all of it melted in the 1.5 minutes that it took to walk to my car. I recommend they provide the ice cream and the coffee separately instead and let the customer pour the coffee themselves, as affogatos are traditionally served.MAR. 2024A warm day in Boston is always cause for celebration. New City Microcreamery has been on my list because the idea of a smoother ice cream through the process of freezing with liquid nitrogen sounded intriguing.I was able to sample a few flavors and ultimately decided on the tres leches and baklava on a homemade waffle cone.Pros: Both flavors were satisfyingly sweet, true to their names, and smooth. The tres leches had vanilla wafers, while the baklava had filo dough pieces and walnuts, which added some texture variety. I also enjoyed the waffle cone. It was thicker and chewier than store bought ones.Cons: This was very messy to eat because the ice cream was already half melted by the time I was handed my cone (unsure if this is usually the case with their ice cream). I was also shocked by the price when I went to pay (almost $15)—it turns out that I was overcharged. They corrected this after I emailed customer support. However, although this was the first time this has happened to me at a restaurant, this was not the first for them based on other reviews, so be careful. The vibes were also off when I went: the workers weren't enthusiastic or welcoming, so I felt pressured to order and leave asap.Overall, the ice cream was good, but I didn't enjoy my experience. So I would get this again but most likely at another location.“

“My partner and I split a Boston cream doughnut and a chocolate chip cannoli here. The icing, dough and cream of the doughnut were all top-tier, and I would highly recommend trying it. The cannoli wasn't our favourite because we felt the ratio of cream to dough was a bit cream-dominant. It is a very heavy item for one person to eat with the overall size and amount of cream. I would go back, but I'd probably stick to items other than the cannolis.“

“If you like ice cream, then you must try Abbott's Frozen Custard because it's like ice cream on steriods. Creamier, smoother and it's apparently made fresh every single day on-site (you can watch the fresh custard coming out of their machine over the counter if you time your visit right!). There are a fair amount of storefronts in Needham center that have changed over the past decade but there's a reason why Abbott's has remained. Highly recommend getting one of the pies for a special occasion. I love the PB cup pie. Always a nice change of pace for thanksgiving or when bringing a dessert to a party. Abbott’s does it right!“
