“My husband, son, and I flew in from Florida. We were DYING for Boston Chinese Food. The Chinese food in Florida is pretty mid at best. My normal haunt had closed down a few years ago. (We moved to Gainesville, FL in 2019.) We found this place on the last minute.I'M SO HAPPY WE DID!!The food was everything we needed, and more. The ambience was outstanding. The service was top tier. The restaurant is classy and clean. We ordered sooooo much food. Everything was so fresh, and clearly hand made.We ordered the Hong Kong Sampler, Sweet and Sour Chicken, hot and sour soup, scallion pancake, chicken Chow Mein, egg rolls, fried shrimp, pork and shrimp fried rice. (I told you we ordered a lot.) When my husband bit into an egg roll, let's just say, I only see that expression during one other activity. The guy was in Heaven.Everything was served family style. It was hot, and fresh. Super flavorful. The portions were satisfying. We definitely had leftovers. The price was fair. This place is our new go to when we come home.Kid-friendliness: The server put up with my moody teenager like a pro.“
“Out of all the Chinese restaurants I have tried in Boston, this one definitely takes the top spot. The service was great, and the staff was friendly. It's always nice to feel welcomed and taken care of when dining out. The food was another highlight of my experience of course. It was fresh and served hot, which is always a plus when it comes to enjoying a delicious meal. There's nothing quite like savoring flavorful Chinese cuisine that's made with quality ingredients. Now, I understand that the restaurant has only one table and operates more like a grab and go establishment. This place definitely limits the seating options that's the only con. Overall, based on my experience with great service, fresh and hot food, and the friendly atmosphere, I would highly recommend this Chinese restaurant.“
“We absolutely loved The Q and cannot wait to go back. We tried several things across their fantastic and diverse menu. From sushi, to dim sum, to Mongolian hot pot. . .all of it, and I mean ALL OF IT, was fantastic! The service was outstanding- there if you had questions, but also let us enjoy our food without rushing or interruption. The atmosphere was vibrant, but not loud. It was a wonderful meal. I have already recommended The Q several times.“
“I came here to celebrate Valentine's day with my husband. Personally speaking, I've not been a big fan of Asian fusion food, but I was delightfully surprised by the food at Myers & Chang. We got one beef udon dish and a braised beef dish, with both turning out very good but both a bit salty - so we had to get one more bowl of rice to top up. Additionally, they were kind enough to let me order a drink from the brunch menu. I would come back!“
“From start to finish it was amazing. The drinks and food were delicious. Atmosphere was so unique and you felt like you were truly in another place. The bartender we had was so different than anyone we've ever met. His food and drink recommendations were spot on.“
“The best dumplings I’ve ever had. My friend and I ordered seafood dumplings and we enjoyed it. We also had pork soup dumplings which was quite decent too. I recommend trying Dumpling House for the best food options if you’re in Cambridge area.“
“Feel like something's changed in the past year or so. The food doesn't seem as cared for and has lost some of it's charm. not sure if just a bad day or if the chef has changed but other way feeling a little sad. still tasty but not the WOW it was “
“I came here for birthday drinks with my girlfriends and I was amazed with their cocktails. The lychee martini is delicious! Probably best one I've had in Boston. Ambiance is hip and beautiful. Shout out to Bao for making us feel extra special that day ! Will definitely come back to try the food!“
“Don’t step on the thunder restaurant! Whatever you want! Every dish is delicious. Boston roast duck is an online restaurant? bullfrog, sweet and sour pork loin, crab meat with rice, pickled fresh beef, golden soup beef, golden baby cabbage, brown sugar glutinous rice cake, passion fruit fruit tea. Everything is great Eat and it’s so big! The little brother also said that they are constantly improving their dishes, including even the roast duck. ?“
“Got Mu Lan fillet fish, green beans, and fried pork chops. The food was very tasty, but I did feel that what I ordered felt a bit heavy. Recommend mulan for people who are looking for a filling and flavorful meal. I was there at 8PM and waited about 10 minutes to be seated.“
“I recently found this place and absolutely love it! I’ve been eating hot pot across different states, and this spot has quickly become one of my favorites. One thing to note, though, is that the chili powder doesn’t quite taste like the Sichuan powder I’m accustomed to, but it’s still “
“Food is amazing! We had the Yunnan Potato Pancake but it's really taro. Also hear classic chicken and broccoli, LaLa beef, sweet sticky rice ball. Service was OK decent. Waiter was helpful in recommending dishes to us, but not the warmest. The restaurant was full, the waiters didn't rush us out. Environment and safety distance - Ambience is great. Spacious in between tables. It was full but didn't feel rushed. Noise level was good. You can hear other people's cheeriness but also able to have a private conversation.“
“When I was a young teen 2 decades ago, living on allowances, this was the spot I hit up. I think at the time the combo was like $2.50 or something and I’ve never seen a line there. I use to go strictly for curry chicken with white rice. It was never the best curry, but it hits the spot on a tight budget. Today, I had an urge to pick up some pork bao to eat omw home, so I stoped by Chinatown to hit up bao bao bakery. At the corner of my eyes, I peeped Ding Ho and nostalgia rushed into my bones. As I approach the dinged up spot waiting in line outside the restaurant, I can’t help but wonder how much more expensive would it be now versus 20 years ago, considering inflation. My goodness… $6 for 2 side combo. WHAAAT? 2024. And it’s $6. I ended up with two sides of protein, 3 spring rolls and 1 Peking ravioli…. THATS $9.50. Hands down the best place to go in this economy. I don’t even care about the flavor. I got seasoning at home that can fix it up.(I ate a spring roll omw home)“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Happy Lamp Hot Pot, located in the vibrant heart of Central Square, and what an experience it was! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere promised a fun and engaging dining experience, and it certainly delivered. The hot pot itself was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, creating the perfect base for all the fresh and high-quality ingredients we could choose from. Whether you're a meat lover, seafood enthusiast, or vegetarian, there's something for everyone, and the adventure of cooking your food right at your table adds an exciting twist to the meal. What stood out to me, apart from the delectable food, was the sheer fun of the experience. Happy Lamp Hot Pot is the ideal spot for a group of friends or family looking to enjoy not just a meal, but a truly social and interactive dining experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu and making recommendations that enhanced our meal. The Central Square location is perfect for anyone looking to dive into the local culture and enjoy a lively dining scene. It’s easy to get to, and once you’re there, you’re in for a treat“
“We all thoroughly enjoyed our Hot Pot Buffet. Great value for high quality ingredients that were very fresh. We tried several choices not typically found at other restaurants. Our fantastic wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and highly efficient. We recommend Fairy Cafe and will definitely be back.“
“Silk Road has become our family's go-to spot whenever we're craving something special. We've lost count of the number of times we've dined here, but every visit feels like a new adventure. We have tried almost everything on the menu and it never disappoints. And guess what? Our kids are totally into it too! Sure, some dishes can pack a bit of heat, but just give the server a heads up.The place is limited in space and they do not take reservations so sometimes it feels like a bit of a squeeze. But hey, that's part of the charm, right? Just be prepared for a bit of a tight squeeze, especially if you're rolling in with a big crew.Overall, Silk Road gets a big thumbs up from us. Whether you're a die-hard fan of Uyghur food or just looking for a fun family outing, this place won't disappoint.“
“Best Chinese food ever! I ordered chicken and broccoli, amazing! Also ordered orange chicken (medium heat) another amazing dish! Tender chicken, but not greasy. I ordered and paid online directly through their website and picked up myself. Order was ready on time, staff friendly and accommodating. 5 “
“I recently dined at this Chinese restaurant that left a delightful impression. The diverse menu offered many different flavorful dishes.. The attentive service and inviting environment added to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes for a taste of authentic Chinese cuisine.Vegetarian options: Pretty good amount of options for those who are vegetarian!“
“Truly a hidden gem at the edge of Chinatown. Incredibly flavorful claypot rice that easily beat many street vendors in Asia. The selection is wide, treatment is simple, homemade. The place is small, so expect to be crowded when busy. Owner/waiter very friendly and welcoming, and attentive. I highly recommend this to locals and visitors alike. I certainly will have many more visits to sample many other interesting items on the menu.“
“Been there 3 times already and will continue to go. Food is great and tastes authentic (even if the design of the dishes feels somewhat formulaic).Milk and fruit tea options are a great combo with the spicy dishes.Vibe is minimalistic and modern, which fits the theme.I think the only thing they need is to update their marketing strategy to become more localized and attract more regular customers. As it stands it still feels like a brand imported from overseas.“
“The best place for hot pot in Boston! So many choices to pick from and a sauce bar that you can mix your own or use the ones they have. They have the best broth out of any place I’ve tried and the wait staff is super kind and helpful if you have any questions! Always a good go to on a dreary “
“The best dumplings I’ve ever had. My friend and I ordered seafood dumplings and we enjoyed it. We also had pork soup dumplings which was quite decent too. I recommend trying Dumpling House for the best food options if you’re in Cambridge area.“
“This place doesn't give you a table until your whole party arrives. I know this place is busy so I got here at 430pm before the dinner rush. While I was waiting for my party to come, the host offered me the free chips and other free snacks at the front counter. I think I saw hair ties too lol. When my whole party arrived, the server explained everything and how to order since it was our first time here. All the staff was very nice. The food was fresh. My favorite is probably the fish ball with the roe inside.“
“I have never had a bad experience in all the times I've been here. The staff are nice and the food is excellent! My favorites are the roti, fried pearl noodle, ginger duck noodle soup, basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice, and curry fish fillet pot.“
“Quick service! Friendly staff! Inside was decently spacious and had dimmer lighting. Got the beef noodle soup and the noodles were nice, soup not too spicy, the beef was very thinly sliced and tender, also had lots of daikon that soaked up all the flavor. Solid bowl of noodle soup“
“We decided to try this cafe. Very small but the food is delicious. Ordered the rice rolls with liver (for you who like liver, it was yummy!) but they certainly had loads of choices of fillings. The Chow Fun (we had chicken instead of beef) had plenty of bean sprouts as it should be. Yummy homemade wanton soup warmed us as it was a rainy day and our last dish was the pork rib in bean sauce clay pot. Everything looked so tasty we cleaned off the first dishes before I remembered to take photos which are here! Lol“
“Soups here are very good and flavorful. The service is quick (implied by the name 10 second delivery) because the prep is done in advance. If you get takeout, expect noodles and most toppings to be packaged separately as trays to one container. Parking can be found on the side road. It's located behind Wollaston station.“
“Nice little restaurant/bar off rt1 my son brought me here and I have to say I was amazed at how good the food was and at night they do karaoke ? where you can sing right from your seat it was so much fun I would Definitely Recommend checking it out with your friends for a fun night out uou won't be disappointed we had a blast and the food and service was great really friendly and good people. I will definitely be returning.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I love dining at this place! Despite its small size, the food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Every time I visit, I feel an irresistible urge to come back again. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!“
“According to Liam, the employee to whom I spoke, this restaurant has a new name and owner as of September 2022. The storefront says Liaoxiang Rice Noodle. The name on the receipt reads Luckycafe, one word. The picture menu says Potluck Cafe. Food and prices are good. I got the steamed fish with black bean sauce for $7 and a plate of white rice for $2. I like the hot chili pepper sauce on the table.“
“If you haven’t eaten here you certainly should, it’s a hidden gem with the best dumplings I have ever tasted. The lady who owns and runs it is a fantastic personality and a joy to see for every short occasion. I would have posted a photo to show how perfectly crisp they are but I ate them before I thought to post and ate them far too quickly. The homemade dumpling sauce is such a compliment. Highly recommend going out of your way to make it here for the times it’s open you wouldn’t regret it.“
“This is literally the best Chinese food restaurant in Massachusetts. Food is 5/5 - both Chinese & Sushi. Service is 5/5, Drinks are 5/5. The only negative is that it's so popular you may have to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait!“
“Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Food at price point: 5/5 The server was almost too personable. I do not like to have a conversation on the average day. And the neighboring table was the worst group of women maybe in the entire world. Out of the restaurants control so it's fine. You must get the dole whip drink!!!!“
“Great place in Chinatown to dine with a group. They offer all you can eat hot pot with lots of meat, veggie and seafood options at a great price. They give you plenty of food and keep it coming if you request more. It’s a bit rundown inside but the food is good and the service is great.“
“Fresh and Fantastic! I stop here whenever I am in the area. Mostly takeout but there are a few tables , the staff at the counter is so nice what a great group of people! The food is fresh and so tasty, The takeout packaging was great plastic with lids not the old foam style which leak . The hot and sour soup is great and thanks to everyone there!“
“Really, really good American Chinese food. Great value, huge portions of delicious classics. If you're craving American Chinese food Jasmine Cuisine will really hit the spot.Service is excellent, everyone is kind and welcoming. I came to pick-up holding my toddler in the rain, and the lady behind the counter offered to take my bag to the car for me (which I politely declined but very much appreciated the offer). My kid also has a bad tree nut allergy, and I feel like ordering from certain Chinese places can be dicey. I let Jasmine Cuisine know when I was ordering and my kid had zero reaction/sensitivity, even though his worse allergies are to cashews and walnuts which are often featured in American Chinese and I presume in certain dishes on their menu. Gives me great peace of mind that they took my request seriously.“
“We got pork intestines with preserved vegetables, stirred fried pea leaves, salted and pepper soft shell crab, and fish maw with crab meat soup. Everything came out well-cooked and tasty. Fast service even when the restaurant was packed. We moved away and once in a while when we crave Chinese food we would go out our way to Victoria.“
“Recommended!! New fav hotpot buffet spot in Malden! >> Reasonable price + Clean + Fresh + Yummy + warm service???The bone broth and spicy butter broth are awesome. The meats are tender and delicious. The sweet sticky rice in buffet menu is yummm. Also we tried the meat in the screwers today (a la carte). It's good as well.Overall, Definitely come back ?“
“A great thai spot in Dorchester. The ingredients are so fresh. I love that they use white meat chicken in most of the dishes. Sometimes I want to feel a little healthier without the fat from the dark. The best part is the flavors are so good from the sauces that you don't notice. Plus the meats are very tender so you know they were prepped well ahead of cooking. Coconut shrimp were very good. There was too much I wanted to try, including their signature wings. They have a big menu to pick from and out all sound good. Staff is so nice. You order from a kiosk that has pictures too. They text you when it's ready. There are 4 tables inside but it's mainly take out. You can eat inside though if you want. Portion size is huge. It reminds me of one of those Chinese take out places where they stuff the container, only the food here is much better quality. One of the best parts is how much food you're getting for your dollar.“
“I’ve been here a couple of times, and the overall including the food, and service was really good. Not to forget about the decoration inside the places was amazing, making me feel like I was in one of the C-dramas lol. The price was a little pricey but compatible with the foods.“
“Third time here, but dine in this time.4 ⭐️ for Roujiamo?3 ? for noodles2 ⭐️ for parking. Very hard to find parking.Ordered Lai Mei Zi Pork Rou Jia Mo?, Cumin Beef Rou Jia Mo? will not order Cumin Beef again is a little bit salty with some pepper in it. Lai Mei Zi Pork is better, might order again.ordered Liangpi with spicy sauce and normal sesame sauce. The spicy one is fine, but just spicy not 香, I will not order again. Maybe try normal sesame sauce again. Also ordered fried noodles, which is fine and a little bit salty, will not order again.“
“If there's ever been a reason to venture into the world of fusion cuisine, Scott’s bartending and waiting service at P.F. Chang’s is it. From the moment you step through the doors, it becomes abundantly clear that this isn't just dinner; it's a masterclass in hospitality, presented by the inimitable Scott.First, the ambiance. Scott, like a maestro conducting an orchestra, navigates the floor with the elegance of a ballet dancer and the precision of a Swiss watch. Each table he approaches lights up under his infectious charisma. With a smile that sparkles brighter than the crystal stemware, he ensures that every guest feels like the only person in the room. Now, the cocktails—a vivid tableau of mixology magic. Scott doesn’t just mix drinks; he conjures them. The ‘Dr. Pepper’ is a spectacle of its own, complete with actual flames that dance under his skilled hands, casting a warm glow that rivals the setting sun. Not to be outdone, his ‘Dr. Pepper’—a dessert-disguised-as-cocktail concoction—is an opulent layering of rich flavors, exotic flavors, and a hint of secret flavors only Scott knows. His knowledge of the menu is encyclopedic. Ask him about the Dynamite Shrimp, and he'll recount the history of the dish as though he's travelled through time, gleaning secrets from ancient chefs along the Silk Road. His recommendations are not just suggestions; they are curated experiences designed to tantalize and surprise. His flair for pairing the bold flavors of P.F. Chang’s dishes with the perfect drink can only be described as culinary wizardry. But what truly sets Scott apart is his ability to anticipate needs you didn't even know you had. Before a glass reaches its last sip, he’s there with a refill. As if he reads minds, he arrives with extra napkins just as you ponder the potential mess of a Lettuce Wrap. It’s this attentiveness that elevates a meal into a spectacle of delight. In conclusion, dining at P.F. Chang’s under Scott’s watch is a gala of gastronomy and charm. His performance is not just in serving food and drinks but in crafting memorable evenings that guests cherish long after the last fortune cookie has cracked open. If P.F. Chang’s is a stage, then Scott is its shining star.“
“The new golden gate is part of Chinatown history tracing back to its original days as the "golden gate". When they added the new, it wasn't quite the same but they still do one thing well, is cooking Chinese style roast beef. Other restaurants sell roast beef, but they don't do quite as good of a job. Chinese roast beef is sliced rib eye that is quickly seared in a wok with a brown sauce. You can customize it and have it over rice or in black bean sauce with pickled vegetables but my go to as pictured is roast beef and tomatoes chow mein in black bean sauce. It's something you wouldn't find on the menu but if you ask them to make it, well at least in Chinese as I've never tried in English, they'll be able to make it.“
“This is a hidden gem. They have authentic Szechuan dishes. The dumplings are homemade. You can taste the Quality in it. The fish in Mandarin sauce was amazing. The tuna taco was fresh and crispy. The gray short rib was so tender and favorful. The winter rose was scrumptious. The Dan Dan noodles was so soft and spicy. The fried rice was good. The rice roll in brown sugar was sweet and soft. It's pricey, but worth every penny. Staff was so helpful and nice. Definitely will be back“
“It was our first time here. Sushi was great. Staff was also very pleasant. The restaurant itself was a very nice environment nice seating and lighting. The presentation of the sushi was amazing! It came in a beautifully designed boat steaming with dried ice and beautiful decorations! They had a pretty decent size menu. Absolutely going back.“
“Best drinks EVER and even better food, dumplings are amazing. Easily a 10/10!! Would highly recommend to anyone. Also had an espresso martini that is one of my favorites in the Boston area, and even the staff/employees are incredibly accommodating!!“
“Tried it while in the area based on Yelp reviews. Got the springs rolls and pan fried dumplings as appetizers. The spring rolls were okay not great. The pan fried dumplings were really good. for entrees we got the Vegetarian Delight, the Basil Chicken with eggplant in Garlic sauce, and Chicken in black bean sauce. The vegetables in the Delight were excellent, the sauce was one of those sort of Chinese American white sauces that I am not really a fan of but was still decent. The Basil chicken dish was quite tasty, really good sauce and the eggplant was really, really good. The chicken in black bean was a simple but excellent dish. The serving dishes might have seemed cool in concept but perhaps had a flaw in actual use because they seemed to have a tendency to easily overflow due to design that has weakness on either end. Simple order at the counter and they bring to your table in the small dining room. Seems to be primarily a take out place but the dining room was clean and the service to the table good. They checked in on us. Bathroom was nice and clean.“
“Went here with some friends yesterday. It was a snowy day, and we were looking for a cozy place to get some nice Chinese food. I was recommended this place by a friend, so decided to give it a try. This place has absolutely amazing Chinese food that tastes homemade. we talked to the owner and she makes the food homemade every day, so nothing is stuck in a freezer for days on end. I think this made an incredible difference and how awesome our food tasted. Service and atmosphere felt like you were in somebody’s home being served food as a guest. Very cozy vibe and attentive service. The only thing is that it is a bit small, and I can’t see it seating more than eight people at a time.Highly recommend Wonton noodle soup was amazing along with their scallion pancake wraps. Honestly, you won’t go wrong with anything on their menu.Food - 17/20Service - 9/10Atmosphere - 6/10Total - 32/40“
“This hole in the wall is not pretty Inside, but they do have Cantonese/Hong Kong Style food. They are Cash only. We got the curry sauce pork on spaghetti and Beef stew & wonton soup. The service was decent. Don't have have expectations for service at any Asian places. Our food came fast, but getting our bill took time. They got pretty busy. The wontons tasted homemade and the broth was very rich in flavor. The curry sauce was thick and tasty. The pork was perfectly cooked. Overall, a good experience“
“Dining in was a calming experiencing, nice soothing lighting, waiter was very attentive and calm, ordered for two people, one child, and total came out out to just under $100 (and we ordered a fair amount of food) quality was there, will eat there again !“
