“I wanted a good steak for my birthday and I immediately jumped on google.. I came across Lewnes Steakhouse and read the reviews. We dined there yesterday for my birthday. From the time we walked in until the time we left everything was great! The food was very delicious and our steaks were cooked to perfection as requested. The waiter was very attentive and checked on us multiple times. The complimentary brownie with fudge and Ice-cream was mouthwatering. We will be returning soon.”

Our meal started with the Chefs Selection Board, then the special of the day Mushroom Soup, my Husband had the Cast Iron Skirt Steak (flavor was Delish) I had the Chicory Salad with Bacon Bits (minus the pecan nuts) for Dessert I had the FIG & BRIOCHE BREAD PUDDING (heaven in a plate) with the yummy Coffee.”

“Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not busy at all. Wife and I decided to do an early Valentine’s Day date. The food was phenomenal. We decided to do the whole experience. The open buffet was great. A lot of options and all tasted great. The plantains and one of the pastas they had was very good. Great service from all the people going around with the meats. One that stood out was Robert he was very friendly and very attentive to the guest and what we wanted. We told him how we wanted the meat cooked and which one and he was on it! The server was awesome too always coming around the check on us. The desserts was very delicious. We are definitely coming back”

I just wouldn’t want to pay full price for this place.”

My go-to is the chicken tostadas (so good!), while my husband usually gets the burrito loco or quesadillas—he’s never disappointed. Their customer service is just as impressive. Everyone I’ve interacted with, whether over the phone or in person, has been kind, welcoming, and professional. I’m always greeted with a smile, and it’s clear they truly care about their customers. “I would highly recommend going and when you go ask for a woman named Cory to be your server. She greeted my family and I right at the entrance and made us feel right at home. I’d say she was close to a kind reader as it comes because she basically knew what we needed before we ever said anything. “Since checking this place out, I have become a regular customer, and now come in 1-2x a week for a grocery restock. I have had no time to cook since the new year and had been eating out almost every meal.... but there are so few places around with healthy options. I am so picky about what fruits and veggies, organic items, etc. that I eat, and thankfully sprouts has provided great options for that! The baristas/cashiers are always so helpful and kind to us. Some of my favorites are-- ALL of the soups (seriously that chicken and rice is perfection, especially if you are under the weather), turkey chili, thai wrap, veggie wrap, egg roll in a bowl, drunken noodles, bbq chicken and succotash, the vitality ginger drink (that spice burns but feels good!), the challah and sourdough bread, eskimo bites for a treat, and the strawberry blondie brownies! I am trying new things as the menu changes, but these have been on my constant restock when available of what I have had so far!! I recently learned they can heat the items for you, so you can eat a hot meal there (I have not done this yet myself, as this is like grocery shopping for me so i take it home... but i have seen lots of people in there enjoying their meals!) I have seen some complain about the prices, but if you know the quality of what you are getting (local, organic), then you would realize these are very fair prices! If I have ever wanted to request something or had a slight issue, Sprouts has always been more than happy to accommodate. Thank you Sprouts for providing great service and food options to the community! You will see me again soon! Gluten free, Dairy free, or Flexitarian, check them out!”

“I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Looks like a bookstore from the outside, but guess what?! Well. It kind of is a bookstore. Because it’s IN a bookstore. But that’s part of its charm. The coffee is great, obviously. And they have tea. Just don’t you dare ask for chamomile. Or if you’re feeling playful, you can always get some hot choccy. They’re always playing great music too. A fantastic atmosphere. I go in every single day with my laptop to do some work and I swear, I accomplish more in one hour than a college kid on Adderall cramming at 4am for an 8am final. The real absolute rockstar of the show, though, is Madison. I think she might actually be superhuman. Once I ordered something and she told me no, I don’t want that, and then made me something else. And you know what? She was absolutely right. It’s like she was able to take her hand and reach it into the deep, dark recesses of my soul and somehow know more about me and what I want than I’ve ever known about myself my whole life. I will never question her on anything again. If you’re in Annapolis for even just one day, this place is a must stop. Just don’t come when I’m there, I’m trying to get some work done.”

The croissants are some of the best I've had, and they're always made fresh. The hours aren't long, so you'll need to time your visit carefully if you're an out-of-towner.”

I haven't tried everything because I got hooked on a few of the menu items. I love the Fish & Chips - perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender flakiness on the inside. The Caesar Salad and Fried Chicken Salad are delish. And their burger is exactly what you want when you get the craving. The portions are generous and the prices are just right.

Best of all, the owner and staff set a special, welcoming atmosphere. This carries over to the guests so you really experience a cheerful, happy vibe. It feels like going to a party. It explains why they have such a strong repeat audience. I'm a fan!”

We ate Christmas lunch/dinner at SHIKA sushi &ramen and it was awesome! They really saved the day for us. We are usually 4-6 rolls feasters so thought we’d just start with 3 and go from there. 3 was plenty! The rolls were massive and delicious. The service was great. Poor lady had to fill my water like 10 times. And they sealed the deal with a free piece of cheesecake! Entire meal came in about $50! Highly recommend you go check them out! Cheers!”

“I’ve been coming here since they’ve opened and I haven’t been disappointed. Yeah, there are times just like any restaurant where things might not be perfect or what you’d expect. But since I am a chef and I’ve worked in several restaurants, the difference between how something is cooked one day can be a difference between who’s working that day. They do make some of the best pizzas around! They have a bar, game nights, special pizza nights, buy one get one on Tuesday and even Social nights where you can cook things in the kitchen. What I recommend about Neo Pizza? Everything! It’s a good restaurant, not too overpriced. A great place to hang, socialize, have a beer and enjoy good times with friends or family.”

“Love CPK when I'm in Annapolis. Went last Wednesday night and it was VERY Disappointing. I usually get the Waldorf chicken salad with Shrimp on top. I explained to the waitress , who must of been new, what I wanted. My sister and I get the Full Waldorf salad and split it. Two dishes come with the salad, one for each of us. This girl brought the salad and 2 very small plates. Never offered us any cracked pepper and never asked us if we wanted refills for our drinks, we had to ask. The salad had too much dressing so that it was drenched, the salad was wilting. Also they used the wrong dressing and the ingredients were few. We saw that she was shorthanded because she seemed rattled. Not very good all around. Hope this doesn't happen again. I sometimes take 3-4 people their at a time and don't want a repeat of this.”

“I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.”

“I would like to share how lovely last night's private chef meal experience was with The Bell House Catering on 03/16/24. A dear friend arranged a small gathering of some of my closest friends & family for a going away dinner. My husband & I are moving out of state after living in Maryland for 40 years. This dear friend Nancy arranged for a "My Favorite Things" dinner to wish us farewell. We had the best beef tenderloin & salmon, accompanied by roasted mushrooms & various colored peppers & onions w/ Bearnaise sauce; served with a beet salad & goat cheese; green salad with avocado, walnuts, cucumber & Violet petals. We finished the meal with an amazing chocolate cake with espresso buttercream frosting. There were other accompaniments with the dessert ~ 2 different wafer cookies and a Petit fours. Each dish was announced & served on gold plates by Chef Kelly herself, along with chef Michael. I felt like I was in heaven. Thank you to the Brien Family for such a gesture of love, and for my friends that made time to be there. It was a beautiful evening. We love you and are grateful for you.
