“We stopped in for coffee on a Sunday morning in February. We were greeted enthusiastically upon entering. There was no line so we didn’t have to wait to order. We just got coffee but they did have a pastry case and I think I saw a food menu.
The service was quick and friendly. We sat at a table and enjoyed the coffee. The atmosphere was relaxed and easygoing.
They have a shelf of merch in the front of the store.

Next, our server, I believe her name was Kimmy, was amazing! We asked her for suggestions while deciding what to order and everything she suggested was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely sweet.
Now, the food. The steak and cheese egg rolls were delicious! Hot, cheesy and full of steak. We also had the deviled eggs and they were tasty as well. But the Stacked burger that my partner and I had was the best smash burger I've ever had! It came out so quick and piping hot. I'll be back for just that. How will I ever try another entrée with that burger in the menu? Overall, we had a lovely meal and experience.”

The owners tools some time to talk with us nd share their story , which was very nice and friendly. We will be going back for sure and will try out more of their menu. I was also glad to hear that they don’t buy ingredients from Sysco, so the food is more fresh. Thank you. Let’s make sure these people can stay in business . !!”

“I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.”

The atmosphere is very cool. Blues music playing, and decor remind you of a speakeasy. The hostess, Julia, is our favorite. Patrons are nice and “behave”, not loud. Somehow, I don’t think Julia would tolerate it! Highly recommend.”

A fantastic atmosphere. I go in every single day with my laptop to do some work and I swear, I accomplish more in one hour than a college kid on Adderall cramming at 4am for an 8am final. The real absolute rockstar of the show, though, is Madison. I think she might actually be superhuman. Once I ordered something and she told me no, I don’t want that, and then made me something else. And you know what? She was absolutely right. It’s like she was able to take her hand and reach it into the deep, dark recesses of my soul and somehow know more about me and what I want than I’ve ever known about myself my whole life. I will never question her on anything again. If you’re in Annapolis for even just one day, this place is a must stop. Just don’t come when I’m there, I’m trying to get some work done.”

Teriyaki House in Annapolis, MD was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was perfect—they were playing the Army–Navy game, had holiday music going, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the season, which made it feel warm and welcoming.
The location and view are excellent, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient without being overbearing. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes.
Most importantly, the food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations.
Between the festive atmosphere, great service, excellent value, and incredible food, Teriyaki House is a place I would absolutely return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in Annapolis.”

Next, our server, I believe her name was Kimmy, was amazing! We asked her for suggestions while deciding what to order and everything she suggested was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely sweet.
Now, the food. The steak and cheese egg rolls were delicious! Hot, cheesy and full of steak. We also had the deviled eggs and they were tasty as well. But the Stacked burger that my partner and I had was the best smash burger I've ever had! It came out so quick and piping hot. I'll be back for just that. How will I ever try another entrée with that burger in the menu? Overall, we had a lovely meal and experience.”

We saw that she was shorthanded because she seemed rattled. Not very good all around. Hope this doesn't happen again. I sometimes take 3-4 people their at a time and don't want a repeat of this.”

A dear friend arranged a small gathering of some of my closest friends & family for a going away dinner. My husband & I are moving out of state after living in Maryland for 40 years. This dear friend Nancy arranged for a "My Favorite Things" dinner to wish us farewell. We had the best beef tenderloin & salmon, accompanied by roasted mushrooms & various colored peppers & onions w/ Bearnaise sauce; served with a beet salad & goat cheese; green salad with avocado, walnuts, cucumber & Violet petals. We finished the meal with an amazing chocolate cake with espresso buttercream frosting. There were other accompaniments with the dessert ~ 2 different wafer cookies and a Petit fours. Each dish was announced & served on gold plates by Chef Kelly herself, along with chef Michael. I felt like I was in heaven. Thank you to the Brien Family for such a gesture of love, and for my friends that made time to be there. It was a beautiful evening. We love you and are grateful for you. Today I walked in during a rush, was greeted with the same politeness as always, and was given my sandwich in a timely manner, with it looking and tasting as good as it usually does. Might I add I watched the employees very tactfully deal with some customers who were being quite rude, whilst still dealing with the large amount of orders.
