“I wanted a good steak for my birthday and I immediately jumped on google.. I came across Lewnes Steakhouse and read the reviews. We dined there yesterday for my birthday. From the time we walked in until the time we left everything was great! The food was very delicious and our steaks were cooked to perfection as requested. The waiter was very attentive and checked on us multiple times. The complimentary brownie with fudge and Ice-cream was mouthwatering. We will be returning soon.”

I was conflicted over whether or not I should give four or five stars, but I could not overlook that on out most recent visit the server did not return to collect the check. After waiting for about 30 minutes, one of us went and delivered the check to our server. This does not overshadow the great food and generally positive experiences that we have had here, and I'm sure that we will be back again for more delicious meals on Maryland Avenue. (maybe when the restaurant is less busy)”

Taylor, the event coordinator, made this a five star event in every category including STRESS FREE for me being I live in New York! My son and now daughter in law said it couldn’t have been better! Their wedding was on Gibson Island the next day so it was a great start to the weekend!”

“We stayed here for a week and came to Annapolis to watch someone graduate from the United States Naval Academy. The hotel is comprised of three different buildings that are not connected. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and answered questions that we had about staying in Annapolis. The valet service was very helpful about providing transportation for our luggage to our room, which was located in a different building, using a small shuttle. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Downtown Annapolis. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and nice. Our first day arriving the temperature outside was in the low 90s, and the bedroom air conditioning functioned very well. We would stay here again if we come to visit the town, which is also charming.”

Well, they must've finally listened to all the complaints and got rid of her, or she quit. Now this location has improved immensely since then. This is my hometown McDonald's so it pleases me to finally be able to give it a 5 star. Don't skip this spot if you're on your way across the bay bridge.”

“I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.”

The atmosphere is very cool. Blues music playing, and decor remind you of a speakeasy. The hostess, Julia, is our favorite. Patrons are nice and “behave”, not loud. Somehow, I don’t think Julia would tolerate it! Highly recommend.”

They have us a number and then brought the food to our table. The space was also a little cramped and if much busier could have been tough to sit down together. The wood fired pizza was amazing and I would highly recommend Timber Pizza.
The pricing was a little steeper than fast food pizza, but it was MUCH better. We had empanadas and three different pies. One of them customized for our youngest.”

The coffee is great, obviously. And they have tea. Just don’t you dare ask for chamomile. Or if you’re feeling playful, you can always get some hot choccy. They’re always playing great music too. A fantastic atmosphere. I go in every single day with my laptop to do some work and I swear, I accomplish more in one hour than a college kid on Adderall cramming at 4am for an 8am final. The real absolute rockstar of the show, though, is Madison. I think she might actually be superhuman. Once I ordered something and she told me no, I don’t want that, and then made me something else. And you know what? She was absolutely right. It’s like she was able to take her hand and reach it into the deep, dark recesses of my soul and somehow know more about me and what I want than I’ve ever known about myself my whole life. I will never question her on anything again. If you’re in Annapolis for even just one day, this place is a must stop. Just don’t come when I’m there, I’m trying to get some work done.”

“This place gets super busy but totally worth the wait. The line moves relatively quickly, and the wait for food can be upwards of 30 mins during the rush. The parking lot is small, pull around the back for more parking. Service is prompt and friendly and they have seasonal specialty lattes on a board to the left of the registers, definitely don't miss them! I ordered a honey lavender latte that was perfectly balanced and so tasty. I also ordered a breakfast biscuit sandwich. The biscuit was buttery and delicious and there was a bit too much cheese for me, but that might be your kind of thing. There's both outdoor and indoor seating and turnover is quick! You can order online ahead of time and head to the back of the store for pick up if you're in a rush.”

“My wife and I lost power & heat before Christmas so we had to spend the holidays out of the house with our 5 week old daughter. We ate Christmas lunch/dinner at SHIKA sushi &ramen and it was awesome! They really saved the day for us. We are usually 4-6 rolls feasters so thought we’d just start with 3 and go from there. 3 was plenty! The rolls were massive and delicious. The service was great. Poor lady had to fill my water like 10 times. And they sealed the deal with a free piece of cheesecake! Entire meal came in about $50! Highly recommend you go check them out! Cheers!”

“Since checking this place out, I have become a regular customer, and now come in 1-2x a week for a grocery restock. I have had no time to cook since the new year and had been eating out almost every meal.... but there are so few places around with healthy options. I am so picky about what fruits and veggies, organic items, etc. that I eat, and thankfully sprouts has provided great options for that! The baristas/cashiers are always so helpful and kind to us. Some of my favorites are-- ALL of the soups (seriously that chicken and rice is perfection, especially if you are under the weather), turkey chili, thai wrap, veggie wrap, egg roll in a bowl, drunken noodles, bbq chicken and succotash, the vitality ginger drink (that spice burns but feels good!), the challah and sourdough bread, eskimo bites for a treat, and the strawberry blondie brownies! I am trying new things as the menu changes, but these have been on my constant restock when available of what I have had so far!! I recently learned they can heat the items for you, so you can eat a hot meal there (I have not done this yet myself, as this is like grocery shopping for me so i take it home... but i have seen lots of people in there enjoying their meals!) I have seen some complain about the prices, but if you know the quality of what you are getting (local, organic), then you would realize these are very fair prices! If I have ever wanted to request something or had a slight issue, Sprouts has always been more than happy to accommodate. Thank you Sprouts for providing great service and food options to the community! You will see me again soon! Gluten free, Dairy free, or Flexitarian, check them out!”

“Love CPK when I'm in Annapolis. Went last Wednesday night and it was VERY Disappointing. I usually get the Waldorf chicken salad with Shrimp on top. I explained to the waitress , who must of been new, what I wanted. My sister and I get the Full Waldorf salad and split it. Two dishes come with the salad, one for each of us. This girl brought the salad and 2 very small plates. Never offered us any cracked pepper and never asked us if we wanted refills for our drinks, we had to ask. The salad had too much dressing so that it was drenched, the salad was wilting. Also they used the wrong dressing and the ingredients were few. We saw that she was shorthanded because she seemed rattled. Not very good all around. Hope this doesn't happen again. I sometimes take 3-4 people their at a time and don't want a repeat of this.”

“I would like to share how lovely last night's private chef meal experience was with The Bell House Catering on 03/16/24. A dear friend arranged a small gathering of some of my closest friends & family for a going away dinner. My husband & I are moving out of state after living in Maryland for 40 years. This dear friend Nancy arranged for a "My Favorite Things" dinner to wish us farewell. We had the best beef tenderloin & salmon, accompanied by roasted mushrooms & various colored peppers & onions w/ Bearnaise sauce; served with a beet salad & goat cheese; green salad with avocado, walnuts, cucumber & Violet petals. We finished the meal with an amazing chocolate cake with espresso buttercream frosting. There were other accompaniments with the dessert ~ 2 different wafer cookies and a Petit fours. Each dish was announced & served on gold plates by Chef Kelly herself, along with chef Michael. I felt like I was in heaven. Thank you to the Brien Family for such a gesture of love, and for my friends that made time to be there. It was a beautiful evening. We love you and are grateful for you. Some of our current favorites: Harvest Mule, Agave Please for drinks and for food… house fries, tuna poke, ribs, brussel sprouts, and the oysters! Crab Mac and cheese is a must if it’s on the menu! Oh and don’t forget to leave room for dessert, we love all the choices but banana bread pudding is our favorite! 11/10 love coming here.”

“Been coming to this location for a couple months now, and have felt compelled to write a review after what I witnessed during a lunch rush today.

The staff here has been consistently kind and polite, despite the heavy lunch rushes and floods of online orders, the store as well, stays clean and well kept.

Today I walked in during a rush, was greeted with the same politeness as always, and was given my sandwich in a timely manner, with it looking and tasting as good as it usually does. Might I add I watched the employees very tactfully deal with some customers who were being quite rude, whilst still dealing with the large amount of orders.

This location has yet to disappoint me, and the employees here deserve kudos for their patience and service. (Pictured below is the banger sandwich I ordered)”
