“My purchase was very fast. I ordered a Big Mac and a lemonade. It took 7 minutes for my order to be delivered. The presentation of the food was very organized. The lemonade was perfectly measured and in perfect quantities. The food was very organized, of good quality, and at an excellent temperature for human consumption. “I needed to order a cake for a birthday and ordered less than 24 hours before I needed to pick up the cake. I called and spoke to Mohammad. He was super helpful and told me he could have the cake ready when needed. He walked me through the steps I needed to take to order the cake online and still have it ready when I needed it. I ordered the pink floral stripe cake and it was perfect; pretty and delicious! Mohammad even texted me afterwards to make sure I was satisfied! Customer service was top notch!“

“Wow! What a fantastic place! I didn't expect much coming in for a business meeting, but both the atmosphere and food was just amazing!
Interior design is so well done - all the details are impressive, as well as a general look and feel.
And food... mmm.. food was 10 out of 10. 2 light dishes, dessert, tea and cocktail - everything was simply delicious! All the tastes in each dish are perfectly combined!
Service was average, but the other two components compensated fully for it.

“Super adorable family-owned bakery -- they also have a great drink menu and sell some packaged Asian snacks and ice cream too. Everything I've ever ordered here has been delicious but some favorites include: their cream bun (which they fill with cream right when you order it so that it's as fresh as possible and doesn't make the bread soggy), their black sesame mochi bread, and red bean and mochi bread.“

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and the owners take the time to truly greet every customer of which there are many regulars. “Rue Café is a neighborhood fixture with the sweetest, most accommodating staff (who know how to put together damn good playlists--I swear i'm on Shazam basically every time I visit).
The food is good, and unique in its offerings relative to much of the cafe hangouts/restaurants nearby. It also helps that the staff (and patrons) are overwhelmingly cute & seemingly queer ;)

10/10 would smile and let my gaze linger a couple seconds more than usual with the person handing me my order again <3“

“Incredible tasting bubble tea with very competitive prices for the area. This shop is in Rockville and there’s practically a bubble tea spot on every corner, but this one is worth your time and money. Kevin, the owner, is a super sweet older Chinese man who takes true pride in his teas. You can taste the love and effort. “Where do I start…this restaurant fired on all cylinders and I walked out with full satisfaction. I shared the awaze tibs and five veggies with two friends. The flavor was off the charts and the presentation of the food was so clean and organized. The spice level was just right. The prices are very fair for the portion of food. The customer service is top-notch and the lady at the counter and in the kitchen will treat you like family. If you’re in the DMV area, you need to come here and bring friends. “What a welcoming little Ethiopian coffee shop! Once a market, Dire Coffee opened in 2020. Family-owned, Dire Coffee serves Ethiopian coffee beans in all different ways- black coffee, lattes, and more. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It came out hot and strong. The woman behind the register, who's the wife of the owner, asked how sweet I wanted my latte. She was very kind!

To eat, they have a variety of food. I ordered one sambusa and it was filled with lentils. It hit the spot!

The food was tasty - I’ve had the breakfast sandwich and pancakes before and today we got a a chicken shawarma-type pita special. Filling, tasty and unique! Also got a crepe and pancakes for kids, who enjoyed them. The main issue was the pricing of some menu options and how they get you to just pay for it if you don’t check them. I was asked if I wanted French fries or chips - I preferred the fries but then noticed when she rung me up they cost $4! Which was absurd and not made clear. I also picked up a Diet Coke can - a 7.5 oz one (the only Diet Coke option) only to find out that would have been $4.50! That is even more absurd- it wasn’t even a full 12 oz can. I opted for the $5 cold brew, which seems like the going rate (maybe in the slightly higher side). The food was good and I’d return but would be kk soul of what I’m ordering.“

Their brewed coffee is very good (though I wish they'd let customers add milk themselves) and the freshly prepared foods are also excellent. (I can recommend the parfait and the quinoa-butternut squash salad.) The cafe is counter-service with an airy, light-filled sitting area; very pleasant atmosphere and solid wifi. One cashier is a little brusque but the other staff are extra friendly.“

I do wish they had almond milk in addition to oat and soy (and whole), but this chai is so good, I'll take it however I can get it. And they filled my to-go cup with no issues. The parking is a little tight, FYI.“
