“This place is wayyy too expensive for me to go here but my girlfriend looooves their ice cream more than she loves me, so I've been here a few times. I don't like flavored ice cream that much so I usually get plain (not vanilla!) when I get ice cream, but you shouldn't do that at this place. The flavors actually add to the ice cream instead of take away from it. The texture is good too, but that's true of a lot of places.

So I would say, yes, go here if you can afford it. And if you like ice cream.“

I came across Moorenkos and met Susan who is so, so nice. She was able to get me a nice supply of the lavender honey ice cream and we also stocked up on cinnamon cappuccino. Omg! “Lulabelle’s is an absolute gem in Petworth. They hands down have the best coffee on the block, their espresso drinks are soooo delicious and you should try the cold brew on tap! The ice cream is to die for, hands down best ice cream in DC and the pastries and other foods are creative and delicious. My personal favorite are the injera crisps and the little fridge full of artisan cheeses!

Julie the owner is a hard working and good hearted person who is a pillar of the petworth community and all the others who work there are kind and welcoming.

“I went there today with my 7 year old son for a banana royal for me and a scoop on a cake cone for my son, the ice cream was superb! If you ever go I would recommend the banana pudding with some cookies and cream it won’t disappoint. For my son he chose little blue panda on a cake cone and he loved it he still hasn’t stopped saying how much he wants more. On top of that the customer service was amazing the lady had a little conversation with us about our day and even gave my son some Oreo’s. On top of all of that the price was just 12.58! Was way cheaper than baskin Robbins. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.
