“We were so excited to have Mr. Charles of Everyday Sundae be part of our wedding weekend. After we got engaged, we stopped by his ice cream shop that night for a treat, and from that moment, we knew we had to work with him for our special day. Having Everyday Sundae at our pre-wedding park day/cookout was such a fun and personal touch. Everyone was so surprised and absolutely loved the raspberry sorbet and Everyday Sundae’s signature bourbon truffle ice cream. It was a huge hit with our guests! Working with Mr. Charles was super easy—he’s professional, reliable, and was genuinely excited to be part of our wedding weekend. His warm personality and charm added so much to the event, and we couldn’t be happier to have included him in our wedding festivities. We love Mr. Charles and highly recommend Everyday Sundae for anyone looking to add a fun, personal touch to their event!“

“I stopped by Pitango for dessert, and it definitely hit the spot! 😋 I tried two flavors: Stracciatella (vanilla with chocolate chips) and Fondente (dark chocolate). I don't usually eat gelato, so I was pleasantly surprised by the creaminess. The service was excellent; I wasn’t sure what to choose, but the cashier helped me by offering samples and sharing details about each flavor I tried. One of the chocolate flavors I sampled was incredibly rich and chocolatey—it's water-based and vegan-friendly, which was a first for me! The restaurant was nice, clean, and had indoor seating that could accommodate several people, but I decided to take my treat to go.“

“The gelato I had was absolutely delicious! While it wasn't as creamy as Pitango's, I really enjoyed the variety of flavors they offered. I ordered a three-flavor cup and chose Black and White Cookie Batter, Dark Chocolate Fudge, and Dulce de Leche Chip. Each flavor was delightful! The restaurant was quite busy, which was a good sign considering its prime location near shopping stores and not far from Chinatown. There was plenty of seating available for customers to sit and savor their treats or coffee. Despite the crowd, the cashiers did an excellent job attending to everyone and even offered samples.“

“I love the hot cocoa from Dolci Gelati at the National Zoo for Zoo Lights. I bought 1 for me and 1 for a friend & went back again for a second night for more on the last night of Zoo Lights. Whipped cream, chocolate & caramel syrup is added to the top. It’s the best treat on a cold winter night or day at the zoo. Thank you!! I’ll keep coming back & bring friends.“

“MDI has the most delicious ice cream and you can really taste the care and quality ingredients that go into the product. Interesting array of flavors, amazing texture and mouthfeel, and I love that this place is not afraid to get adventurous with flavors. Black Sesame--yum! At the same time, their most simple, traditional flavors are among my favorites--Strawberry and Cookies and Cream are absolutely delightful. I appreciate that this place continues to keep their prices very reasonable, especially given how crazy expensive food has gotten in 2024. The staff is helpful and kind and I love supporting this anchoring neighborhood spot! A favorite weekly tradition!“

“I was searching the universe for lavender honey ice cream as a special treat for Valentine’s Day. My wife and I had it a million moons ago in Palm Springs and we loved it so much. I came across Moorenkos and met Susan who is so, so nice. She was able to get me a nice supply of the lavender honey ice cream and we also stocked up on cinnamon cappuccino. Omg! Kim was so surprised and it made for a great treat. Thanks Susan and thanks Moorenkos! You’re The Best!!!“

“I came in on Saturday night after the kids were begging me all day for a sweet treat. We were helped by a young lady that was so inviting and informative! I typically hate ice cream, but after the different flavors were described to us so beautifully I couldn’t help but try out a couple. I was not disappointed! The ice cream was delicious and tasted exactly as described. We truly enjoyed our experience and will be making this a regular stop for family fun days!“

“I love Tipsy Scoop, REAL BAD. Ice Cream Cocktail Mixology — 5 stars, I’ll take 100 more classes! Lumiere Ice Cream Cocktail Class was a vibe! We got to meet CEO of Lumiere, Terrence Wheeler, and sampled the vodka and infused ice cream as well. The class is from 11-1 pm so it starts and ends before the shop opens that way we aren’t interrupted during our private session. We were able to try all the flavors that are offered. They have ice cream and sorbet. You make two cocktails in class. The owner Danielle is super sweet! It’s a great class to take with friends. The ice cream is delicious as well! “In terms of food quality, this place is great. But the two times we’ve been there, it’s been within the last hour of closing and the smell is this place is TERRIBLE. Like truly awful. Smells like a mix of cleaning products and a portapotty. I’m not sure if they’re having plumbing issues or if it’s part of the end-of-day cleaning process, but hopefully they can address it. Yogurt and toppings are great though!“

“Rose with cinnamon toasted almonds - I died having this… tried my friend’s masala chai and sweet milk as well and loved the masala chai. Sweet milk to me was a bit boring- literally tasted like sweet milk. There are so many gelato and ice cream places in DC, but this one definitely is my favorite so far“

“The owner, she has the most selection of icecream cakes of any BR anywhere, and I’ve been to all of them! She especially makes sure that she stocks mint chocolate icecream cakes for me and about 4 other regular customers, even though it’s not the most popular flavor. It is obvious this store specializes in cakes. Her custom writings on the cakes are always done with care and great calligraphy. All flavors and sizes of icecream cakes are always in stock at this location, which is why I always return to this store. Thank you owner!“

“I went there today with my 7 year old son for a banana royal for me and a scoop on a cake cone for my son, the ice cream was superb! If you ever go I would recommend the banana pudding with some cookies and cream it won’t disappoint. For my son he chose little blue panda on a cake cone and he loved it he still hasn’t stopped saying how much he wants more. On top of that the customer service was amazing the lady had a little conversation with us about our day and even gave my son some Oreo’s. On top of all of that the price was just 12.58! Was way cheaper than baskin Robbins. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.
Kid-friendliness: I went there with my 7 year old son for some father son bonding and the lady there was incredible, she was very kind and friendly, had a little conversation with him and gave him some cookies too I loved how she treated him and will bring him again very soon“

The young man who took our order and served us was incredibly friendly and helpful and the young lady who rang us up was very friendly as well! I really appreciate the good customer service! “We went to the Mono (Georgetown) location and our burgers were excellent. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. There was outdoor seating enjoyed by many, but we chose to sit indoors and people-watch in the charming, bustling area on a Sunday afternoon. Great experience as out-of-towners!“

“This place is great. Ordering process on the device is simple and easy. The milkshakes are super high quality. They’re very thick. I’ve tried the Oreo funnel cake one and also the final chocolate one. I’ve tried the smoky classic BBQ burger and the smoke shack. Both were great. Definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in the college park area.“
