“Food was AMAZING! The lady in the front was so sweet and helped me figure out what I wanted to order. From the meat served the portion sizes it was perfection. We ordered about 4 dishes to try since the price was so low compared to other shops.

Some of these other reviews think every business is corporate ran but these mom & pop shops work on a different beat. If you don’t mind the small size but care mostly about the food quality then this is the best lunch spot for you.“

Today I went to the Bangladesh Embassy, and after I finished my embassy work, I started searching for a good restaurant in that area. Luckily, GPS found the restaurant. We went with my wife and my son, and we ordered three dishes. First, we ordered two dishes. We tasted the first two dishes; they were very delicious. Then we ordered another one. All three dishes were delicious. I really enjoy the delicious food. I have no words to describe how delicious the food is. I highly recommend this place.“

“This is probably mine and the families favorite hot pot to go to in this area. The food is absolutely delicious, it’s nice that the vegetables are a buffet style where you can get them at your own pace. The quality is great and so is the service! If you’re into hot pot and in the area this place is an absolute must!!“

“It’s a way fancier version of Kpot but for the same price. Decorations were chic and modern. Meat and seafood are high quality. Lunch is an amazing deal given that it’s $28/person for AYCE bbq, hot pot, and buffet. Did I mention the buffet had crab legs and crawfish? It was a lot of variety for food. Service was exceptional. Shout out to Andy for being so attentive, great with our kids, and making sure we had a good experience.

P.S. Drinks are included so to reiterate again, great deal.

Parking: There’s limited parking in front, but a lot of parking in the back. There’s a garage that you can park in for free.

Kid-friendliness: Kids under four are free! Lots of kid friendly food options. The fries are bomb.“

“Bimbimbap has always been my favorite Korean dish, especially when I became vegetarian. Great selection of toppings much more than a typical bimbimbap would have. I did a pick your own and layered in everything that caught my fancy, including the potato noodles halfsies. Service was adequate. Portions were good and ingredients seemed fresh. Of course my sauce was gochujang. OK value, tasty, it's like a Mediterranean bowl Korean style. Lots of seating, Sat upstairs. Not very crowded on a Thursday night, unlike the rest of this happening shopping venue.“

My go-to is the pork spicy noodle bowl, which never disappoints. The roasted pork pairs beautifully with fresh, crunchy cabbage, romaine, onions, tomatoes, red bell peppers, cilantro, and lime. The crispy garlic and fried shallots add a satisfying texture, and the sweet soya sauce ties everything together perfectly.

“The food was delicious, the owner and staff were very kind especially with our 13 month old who about 45 minutes in was getting very stubborn and wanted to walk around.

I would highly recommend the laksa, which was my favorite dish out of the 5 we ordered. The lamb satay came second. Ask for some extra sambal, it wasn’t too sweet but the perfect amount of spice!!“

“I had a delicious lunch at Eerkin's in Rockville today. My friend and I shared an eggplant salad, an order of manta dumplings stuffed with pumpkin, and an order of fried noodles with chicken. Everything was delicious. The portions were very generous. We enjoyed making our choice from the tea bar--one serving with a complimentary refill was plenty for two people. Service was friendly and attentive. Parking is convenient and free for the first two hours. Looking forward to a return trip!“

“Spices is always delicious. It’s one of our go-tos in the neighborhood and has literally never been a disappointment. When you have a spot like this, it’s not easy to remember to give them a review. It’s just such a part of our routine you forget how important online reviews are for restaurants.My personal favorites are their lychee martinis and crab wontons. “I ordered take-out via Grubhub, the sushi was very fresh & tasted great. Presentation was all there however, the Volcano appetizer was tiny. For $13.00 and it being that small, if I had dined in the restaurant and it came out like that I would have sent it back. I won’t be ordering that again!“

“My wife and I were looking for a halal chinese spot while visiting DC and this was highly recommended on DoorDash so gave it a shot. Safe it say DoorDash's reviews were right! One of the best chinese food I had in the USA so far. And it's halal. We had the friend rice with chicken, Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli. All of the 3 were phenomenal. All the halal Chinese food I had in the US was sub-par but this is an exception. Will definitely eat at this place again when in DC and highly recommend!

“I've ordered from this place sooo much. I always get the sashimi, I usually get the sashimi platter. This last time I got the sashimi appetizer + vegetable dumplings. I have learned that this is one of the sushi places that plays with the term, "white fish." Some places use it for white tuna, some use it for yellowtail etc. I got the sushimi appetizer as it was advertised as salmon, tuna, and white fish--my favorites, except not the white fish I wanted lol. This was more translucent, and half-pink. That was my gamble. Can't really tell what the white sashimi I get in the platter is, I think its white tuna, but I won't make the mistake again.Nice, solid slices of shaved ginger. Good if you're sick! I do wish the sashimi came with a condiment cup like the veggie dumplings did. Veggie dumplings were fine, nice and plump.Also love that the place is open late--I've been a night owl my whole life, so works for me!5 stars overall. I've only been in-person once, and it was very pleasant. You need to be let in, which doesn't take long. Lots of randos wandering around Chinatown so I get it.“

“This place is such a great local spot, I used to mostly go to the Han Palace which is nearby but thought I'd try out Eddie's since it's closer to my house. But after going here twice now I can say it definitely will be my go-to spot in the future. The portions for the lunch and dinner specials are VERY generous and give such a great value. “I have eaten here for 35 years whenever I'm in the area. I love that Good Fortune is still here, though the owners have changed over the years. I'm so glad that they have vegan options now (as I'm now vegan!). They have all the old school, classic Chinese-American dishes but veganized. Very extensive vegan menu. I highly recommend the mock meat options. I like the sesame chicken and the moo shu vegetable with pancakes (but ask for no egg to make it vegan)!“
