Aside from the food which was near perfect, the ambiance is very unique outside dining in a semi enclosed courtyard, railyard bar, and dining in a lodge-like room with fireplace. “Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!“

“5 out of 5 stars, this three story restaurant is interestingly unnoticeable but I’m glad I was invited here to experience it. It sits next to an open air lot which is definitely needed on H St. The food was amazing, I had the sea bass, plantains, salad, and cassava fries (can’t remember what they were called) and everything was so good. The staff was efficient and friendly and the chef came out to speak with us and it amazing to see that he’s native DC and young he is. I definitely recommend this place for dinner. While my friend, Nawfal had a crab cake sandwich there and my friend, Danny had a burger there, I had the Maryland’s best lobster roll and it was the best lobster roll I’ve ever had surpasses the lobster roll I had in Maine. Although I had never been to a restaurant other than The Walrus Oyster & Ale House that serves super delicious hush puppies, they serve the best hush puppies I had ever been to. Their cornbread, along with the butter were so delicious and taste different than store-bought cornbread. Plus, the service and the waitress we had there were amazing. I would love to come back to that place next time we eat in National Harbor for dinner.“

I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“
