I also appreciate the variety of ice cream flavors they offer at this location. It’s called Baskin Robbin’s 31 flavors for a reason. There’s always more than 31 flavors here and I appreciate that.“

After we got engaged, we stopped by his ice cream shop that night for a treat, and from that moment, we knew we had to work with him for our special day. “I love the hot cocoa from Dolci Gelati at the National Zoo for Zoo Lights. I bought 1 for me and 1 for a friend & went back again for a second night for more on the last night of Zoo Lights. Whipped cream, chocolate & caramel syrup is added to the top. It’s the best treat on a cold winter night or day at the zoo. Thank you!! I’ll keep coming back & bring friends.“

They let me sample so many flavors and recommended one as well, the sample sizes were pretty big scoops on a small spoon. I ended up choosing the hazelnut crackle and black & white cookie batter and found it to be quite yummy!“

“Del Ray gem, great custard, fun daily flavors and I love that they take previous flavors and make them into gelato sandwiches. I wish the sorbet flavors were shared on the website's Flavor Forecast but other than that, no complaints! The donuts from Just Fine Donuts (inside) are also dkeicious. DG has become a regular treat for me!“

“MDI has the most delicious ice cream and you can really taste the care and quality ingredients that go into the product. Interesting array of flavors, amazing texture and mouthfeel, and I love that this place is not afraid to get adventurous with flavors. Black Sesame--yum! At the same time, their most simple, traditional flavors are among my favorites--Strawberry and Cookies and Cream are absolutely delightful. I appreciate that this place continues to keep their prices very reasonable, especially given how crazy expensive food has gotten in 2024. The staff is helpful and kind and I love supporting this anchoring neighborhood spot! A favorite weekly tradition!“

I was very surprised at the variety of flavors, I chose Vanilla (I figured you can’t go too wrong w/ Vanilla), IT was Delicious, I can’t wait to try some of the other Flavors now, the Homemade Taste was awesome, the prices were great, the speed of service was marvelous( It was seemingly right during “rush hour”, there was a line, however, the line moved swiftly, the Helpers (Young Staff), was very flexible, friendly, patient, quick, on top of things and handled business very professionally. I was impressed. I will GO BACK and refer Friends and Family to my New Found “Custard/ Ice Cream” Place. It’s been kept a secret from me. Now I Know.“

“I was searching the universe for lavender honey ice cream as a special treat for Valentine’s Day. My wife and I had it a million moons ago in Palm Springs and we loved it so much. I came across Moorenkos and met Susan who is so, so nice. She was able to get me a nice supply of the lavender honey ice cream and we also stocked up on cinnamon cappuccino. Omg! Kim was so surprised and it made for a great treat. Thanks Susan and thanks Moorenkos! You’re The Best!!!“

“We went for a vegan ice cream and checked their website before making the trip but when we arrived not all of the options stated were available so I had to buy a pint instead of a scoop in order to get what wasn't available.
For 1 scoop and 1 pint the total was $21.95
Maybe a bit pricey but when you need a sweet snack after 11pm you pay what they say 😆
Also, staff were very loud yelling back and forth which made it hard to enjoy our time.“

We got to meet CEO of Lumiere, Terrence Wheeler, and sampled the vodka and infused ice cream as well. The class is from 11-1 pm so it starts and ends before the shop opens that way we aren’t interrupted during our private session. We were able to try all the flavors that are offered. They have ice cream and sorbet. You make two cocktails in class. The owner Danielle is super sweet! It’s a great class to take with friends. The ice cream is delicious as well!
