“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

Beet roasted-lentils were great as well.
Overall, I loved the food. It was so filling! Everything was perfect in that mix!

“This was my first time trying their cookie. I was told by someone that they were too sweet. I tried their oatmeal cookie with raisin and it was delicious. One of the best cookies I've ever had. It was not too sweet at all. Full of flavor , crispy on the outside and chewie on the inside. “I typically really like this restaurant, so maybe they were just off. But the waiter and bartender both insisted that I try a California Chardonnay when I specifically told them I didn't like oaky wines. I was right, and they ended up dumping a 9oz pour. The scallops and risotto, which I normally adore were overdone and rubbery. The cedar-plank salmon that I recommended for my husband based on past experience was literally raw in the middle and burned on the edges. The saving grace was the nice ambiance and the yummy desserts - go for the key lime, you will not regret. I will go back because I've always had great food and service before. I will have to assume that this was just a bad night. But be warned if this is a downward trend....“

“I liked overall. Ordered Avocado Smash Toast, PB Toast, Charcoal Detox, Watermelon Juice and Overnight Oats Tropical. They work hard to make food but the pricing could be reasonable for the taste and quality- it appeared at least 25% higher than other places serving similar or better quality even when compared to New York. The toast was very hard to cut with a knife causing spillage across. I noted other customers facing the same and using hands to break the toast which is not great. I will definitely visit again but please fix the toast which is very hard. 4 stars this time but will be worth 5 stars if you fix the toast- not worried about paying more!!!!“

We also grabbed their huge soft pretzel (yum) and their curry spread (double yum). Whether you go sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. Love this bakery!“
