“All of the staff were super friendly. We definitely felt under dressed. I got the eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. There wasn't much hollandaise sauce, so it was a bit dry and the Smoked Salmon was strong. Their potatoes and veggies needed seasoning. My daughter enjoyed her french toast. For basic Brunch, it was pricey. Not everything they offer is on the menu, we had to ask about juice and coffee.“

“My wife and I had brunch on the patio at the White House location today and it was fantastic! We had a mezze platter appetizer, Havana sandwich and shakshuka & arepas entrees, and tres leches for dessert. All were spectacular, as was the service! Highly recommended!“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“Great experience, most of the food was absolutely delicious but the portions aren’t huge (as expected). The Kinship name on the door is almost undetectable, speak-easy vibes to the entrance. The service was impeccable, the decor is minimalist and not too cozy (very subjective of course). The beef tongue appetizer was as our favorite dish. Prices are pretty reasonable for the high end restaurant.“

“This was our first experience at District Bistro. The atmosphere is quiet and enjoyable. The food was very good. We shared two "small plates," as well as a main entree. We enjoyed all that we had. It's a shame, however, that the restaurant uses cheap cutlery and napkins that are too small to be useful. The forks and knives looked like they were from a dollar store, uncomfortable to hold and the knife was not up to cutting even the lettuce in our salads. The napkin was so small it didn't even cover part of my lap. This really detracted from what was otherwise a very enjoyable meal.“

Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. Like it) and the mushroom soup. Sorry I can’t provide pics cause I wanted to enjoy the full experience. Both plates excelled in presentation and flavors. They blew my mind; specially the mushroom soup. It was amazing! I also like that the Persian bowl was a feature by an Iranian chef recently arrived to the country. The ambience and service were outstanding as well. And I loved that I could, for once, speak Spanish without feeling intimidated.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. “My classmates and I were coming here for happy hour and I called just to give them a heads up that a large group was coming. The manager went above and beyond and blocked off a section of the restaurant for us so that we could mingle and enjoy each other without disturbing other guests.
