“Food is always nice and hot. I've been to this place at least 8 times. I had to return the food once. I had ordered wings and fries but the food smelled and tasted like fish. I believe the oil needed to be changed or they cooked my food with fish. Service is always fast. The ambiance is old the store needs renovation. Parking is available.“

“I recently planned a wedding reception at Dauphine's and it was incredible. The food, atmosphere and service was impeccable. The bride and groom were well taken care of, Courtney and Natalie were so easy to work with, communicative and really worked to listen to the couple's needs. It was such a fun, unique and beautiful space for a reception and provided numerous spaces to meet guest needs. The food was delicious and the staff were always on top of everything. “I really enjoyed my experiences at the The Walrus. They have fresh shucked oysters, the Wally's are the house oyster and they were very good. I think I tried every fresh oyster and there were some excellent options that I thoroughly enjoyed. I also had the lobster roll togo and it was loaded with lobsta. They crab cakes were ok, but they are not using fresh local crab meat. The service was fantastic, it's what had me return, a great experience! The great fresh oysters were also a draw for me.“

For the tapas, the whisky pork tenderloin with potatoes was cooked well but the sauce had an odd tang to it. It may be an acquired taste and not for everyone. The grilled eggplant was soggier than expected and I don’t think I’ll get it next time. The Serrano ham and manchego cheese appetizer on the other hand, was absolutely scrumptious! The chicken and seafood paella (the reason why we chose this restaurant) was a big let down…the dish was way too salty and I couldn’t fully enjoy it without downing water. The chicken and mussels/clams however, were tender and cooked well. The churros and chocolate dip for dessert were divine.“

“My family and I have eaten at this restaurant twice. The first time was about 7 years ago while on a school trip to the city. That time, we had lunch. It was the BEST burger we’ve ever had. So much so, that we still talk about it to this day. While visiting the city again for the F1 show, we couldn’t resist eating at The Capital Grille again. This time,, we enjoyed dinner with the lobster mac & cheese, truffle fries, and tuna tartare. All were amazing!! Colleen was our waitress. She was super friendly and very attentive. We initially chose it due to its proximity to our hotel, but it turned out to be a true "Washingtonian gem." Opened in 1960, this restaurant has been operated by the same family ever since. We were in search of "authentic American steaks from real American beef from real American cows." What we received far exceeded our expectations. Both steaks we ordered were exquisitely prepared to perfection. We both agreed that these were the best steaks we've ever had the pleasure of eating in our lives. #MasterpieceAs if the meal itself wasn't enough, our server, Marinos Apostolopoulos, provided us with a genuine journey through the history of this establishment. The octopus is just right; a good sear with a bit of smoky taste, cooked through and just right. Mussels: served with a few pieces of chorizo. Not too many to blot out the flavor of the mussels, mind you. The mussels were a bit dry, this one wasn't swimming in liquid like other places so it. “I dropped in on an early Monday evening for take-out and had a drink while I waited. They have some pretty awesome menu items and it was quite difficult for me to chose. I opted for the veggie chimichanga. I ordered a margarita, snacked on some chips and delicious salsa and enjoyed the wait. Nicaraguans drink it too but we call it “Jamaica”. The efo riro was great, small portion but great flavor. Kim the server was amazing, they have a pianist in the center of the restaurant who is very good.I had a Large crab cake which came with a creamy sauce as an appetizer. The taste of the crab cake was good, but the sauce really made it stand out.I then had their Maine lobster which you have the option to get with, or without Imperial. The lobster is cooked then the inner-side is removed and stuffed with crab cake and shrimp in addition to the lobster then is placed back into the shell. I thought about adding the sauce that came with my appetizer but was concerned it would take away the seafood flavor and make everything too soggy. Im glad I didnt and just added lemons and the butter that already came with it.Whenever I come back to DC this will be my spot and will look forward to trying out their steaks.“

I had the Oysters Bayou, and my boyfriend had the Steak Pontchartrain. Both were cooked to perfection.
