“I love visiting this Starbucks it’s my regular spot to do work and study. The baristas are great and really only thing stopping from being 5 stars is that the music is usually BLARING. There are times where even with my headphones in and music playing at max volume I can hear what’s playing on their speakers (the song selections are always good at least lol).

Once I ordered a latte that came out Luke warm which I did not appreciate but they remade the drink. Another time I was charged for alternative milk because they ran out of whole milk, which I didn’t think was nice. But other than that, the coffee is excellent, and the staff are nice, so I visit regularly.“

“No menus. No options for menus. No list of places. No signs saying what anyone offers (except for Linda's). Switching between eateries in a drop down is a hassle. Have not tried to food, but would not recommend solely on ordering experience. I wouldn't have had my phone out to write this review if there was any option other than QR menus“

“The fam and I stopped by here after a trip the Postal Museum (review to come on that for those of you who follow...aka my wife) and were really impressed. Coffee shops are a dime a dozen in the city, but good coffee shops can be pretty hard to come by.

Ebenezers was a breath of fresh air both metaphorically in the sense that it's a beautiful shop and had a really refreshing, open atmosphere, and literally because they pump the AC inside and it felt great coming in from the muggy outdoors.

The coffeehouse itself it's surprisingly spacious. On the main level there's a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. When we came (early afternoon) we were able to walk right up to the counter to order and had no trouble finding a spot to sit. They also have a basement seating area that had a lot of seating, but it looks like they open and close that for private events, so not sure frequently it's available. Nevertheless, it was open when we were there.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They took our orders quickly and we were able to just sit down and wait...and wait...and wait some more. I think there was some issue with the espresso machine because the barista kept pulling shots and then smelling the coffee that came out. After doing this a couple of times he called over another employee and did the same thing with him. After a brief consultation they didn't do anything to the machine, pulled the shots for me and my wife and handed them to us.

I'm not really sure what that consultation was, but I've got to say, that little demonstration didn't give me a lot of comfort about what we would be drinking.

Nevertheless, putting that behind me, we grabbed our drinks, went outside and started sipping. Honestly, they were both great. I ordered a latte and it was wonderful, my wife ordered a lavender iced latte which was also quite nice. Maybe the barista pulling shots was just THAT exacting, who can say for sure?

All in all, this is a great spot to stop off. It's really close to Union Station, easy to walk to and a nice place to sit down and do some work. I'll be coming back and hoping the espresso machine is cleaned by then.“

“I was in a training near the 15th Street location of Zeke’s. Found it the first morning and went back every day. Shared my experience with others and we all loved it. A local was amazed at her coffee and will be a regular now. The employees were so kind and remembered my order every single day. Best dirty chai I’ve ever had! Quality coffee. Friendly employees. While making my drink, the worker ran out of whipped cream. She apologized and had to go to the back to get more. I had the Gut Buster, which was a delightful combination of pineapple, ginger, and spinach. I was advised it was one of the more popular flavors, and it's clear why!

The medium sized smoothie was a very generous portion, and the price was not unreasonable at under $10.

What stood out to me about this smoothie was how SMOOTH it was! Often, smoothies have chunks of ice, or are otherwise poorly blended; however, these were pleasantly smooth and easy to drink.“

Got a Iced Caramel Latte and a chocolate muffin and 2 samosas.
It was so good!
Then saw someone recommend Fetira with honey so I got that and another Latte.
Fetira with honey is so good. Reminds me of a Korean sweet pancake. ?
Atmosphere is also amazing and staff was so nice.

They also have an ATM, hookah, ria money transfer available.

“We arrived early to no crowd!! We usually go to the 14th street location..being it is walking distance from home. We decided to venture out to the 2nd location out Penn. Ave. The waiter was prompt, cordial and efficient. We both had fresh brewed hot coffee. We both had the Big Waffle Breakfast. The delicious waffle was served hot to melt the butter! My companion complemented the waiter by saying the entire meal with bacon and eggs were the hottest (temp) served in a restaurant!!
The visit was pleasant and we would go again. We recommend Both locations Highly!“

“You won't find a better Dunkin. The food and drinks at this location are consistent and the employees tend to be efficient and helpful. That's really all you can ask for with a franchise, hence the 5 stars. My wife and I are a frequent visitors and have not been let down once, and I couldn't say that about any other Dunkin we've frequented. Do take note that this location doesn't have a drive-thru, but the quality here is worth it if you're in a Dunkin mood.“

“I generally enjoy the experience and I love that the place embodies ward 8 culture, but sometimes it is hard to get work done here because the music is extremely too loud. I sometimes jokingly tell people that I am at a party anytime I have a meeting while I am working here, but after a while the loud music just makes it very challenging to focus. The music choice is perfect, but the volume can be overbearing. Besides the music, the people are pretty awesome, and the drinks are always on point. Once the music problem is handled this Starbucks would easily be a 5 star in my book.“

I have tried twice to use it but the second time I focused on accurately adding the amount of sugar I wanted but it didn't go through because the barista served my coffee with no sugar and looking at the receipt it didn't have any sugar amount. I was even surprised to see table tops/chairs to sit at given the size of the place. Because it's so intimate, you will get a chance to meet the artist after their set. Staff was friendly. “THIS LOCATION is my FAVORITE Starbucks location! I literally call it MY Starbucks. I live in the vicinity of 3 standalone Starbucks, all with a drive thru BUT the Skyland Town Center location is better than the Clinton and Forrestville locations in every category listed above. The customer service is ALWAYS A1 whether the drive thru is wrapped around the corner or if I'm the only person in line. Bc this is "my" Starbucks, the morning crew has perfected my creatively complicated (but not complicated) drink so well, that on first sip, my morning is made (it's a marriage between an iced peach green tea and a lemonade Mango Dragonfruit Refresher). The few times when my drink was made incorrectly, it was remade and STILL handed to me with a smile, sometimes even a cute sticker. I even took a trip to the Forrestville location to compare my experience. While there, their manager and a barista had a whole conversation in front of me about requesting off hours while I sat there waiting...didn't even great me, AND handed me half of my order with a head nod to leave, lol! The audacity was real! So right there, evidence that the Skyland location is unmatched in customer service. I'll stay with "my" Starbucks! Thank you!“
