“It’s convenient right next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Took us 2 minutes to get there. The prices are reasonable and the food tastes great and made well and fast. The ladies there are very nice and helpful. I got the French toast and bacon and an orange juice from the cooler. And they had fresh fruit which was very sweet and delicious. My friend got the waffles with eggs and bacon and fruit and orange juice. If I lived here I’d go there a lot. Love the small places ❤️“

“I love the atmosphere of this place. When you enter La Cosecha, you’re welcomed by a variety of restaurants and small local businesses — it feels vibrant and creative.
But I’m focusing on Café Unido, because this coffee comes from my home country, Panama. So every time I’m in Washington, I have to stop by.

The space is filled with beautiful natural light coming through the large windows facing the street — perfect for enjoying a slow moment with a cup of coffee. The aroma and flavor are exactly what I expect from good Panamanian coffee: rich, smooth, and full of character.

I believe they could take even more advantage of how special it is to have a Panamanian coffee franchise in Washington — it deserves to be highlighted and promoted more. I truly hope they open more locations around the city so more people can experience it.

“My wife and I visit regularly. We've never had a bad Café Miel. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere has been home to many wonderful conversations. We enjoy the food as well. Highly recommend!“

“As a Central Asian who grew up with a similar culture and cuisine, I can confidently say this is the best Middle Eastern restaurant I’ve ever visited.

We sat at the bar, where the two bartenders provided great service.

The dishes were creatively presented and rich in diverse flavors. The Pita with Mushrooms and Hummus was our favorite.

The Frozen Halva Bar is, without a doubt, the most unique and delicious dessert I’ve ever tried. The combination of chocolate ganache, sesame, and halva ice cream blended perfectly. Thank you, pastry Chef, Evyn.“

“Everything is delicious! My personal favorite is their chicken on a pita bread, all mezeh (salads) are very yummy! Labneh and pita chips sooo addicting! We enjoyed the inasal, tocino, and ube latte (complete with delicate latte art) courtesy of Sun and Stars Coffee. Our kid was thrilled she could enjoy an ube steamer, too-- and didn't want to stir her drink because she found the art (Hiraya's logo in this instance) so beautiful. “The Qabuli Rice was gently seasoned, without being overwhelming, and studded with moist tender lamb. Equally impressive were the spinach and okra dishes that were fresh, tasty, and well cooked. Along with the side salad [lemony and slightly spicy], these side dishes were competing for my attention for the above reasons and being less greasy than most places. I suggested to the owner that the side vegetables should be made into a combo dish, to which they accommodated my request. Smart decor and amiable service. Their house-made saffron ice-cream is on my next visit list.“

There was a good variety of food, and I liked being able to choose only what I wanted and pay accordingly.

“This H st location is smaller than the Wharf so it can get slammed so recommend you get there early and have patience. The food is fresh and delicious and worth the hype. I technically had an issue when I ordered ahead takeout and I was super delayed and Jennifer and the team helped me out tremendously. So kind plus our food was goood.“

Prices are reasonable for an expensive city like DC. Restaurant was clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and helpful!

“One of my favorite DC cafes! The breakfast sandwich and burrito are delicious, the coffee is great (+ they free refills), and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I’ve come here after morning workouts with big groups and they are so accommodating. They have great indoor and outdoor space and it’s the perfect place to hang out or get some work done. Highly recommend!“

“Huge portions! You get potatoes with every platter, they were over cooked for my taste. First timers will be a little confused as to the order of things but the staff will quickly get you sorted out. Nice outside dining area, birds are a little aggressive.“

“i had been wanting to try out llama bar for some time now and it did not disappoint. there was some kind of event so there was a huge crowd but still service was impeccable. Heaven was only worker behind the bar and she was an absolute gem, all my food and drinks came out quick and she was so friendly and sweet the entire time.

I told her 3. then she told me I can sit wherever. there was 2 tables open. one way in the back and one in front. I choose the one in front then she said I can't sit there. I said you said I can sit wherever. she walked away and told one of the guys in the back who proceeded to yell and tell me I can't sit there and they have big tops coming in. I understand this but I am 8 MONTHS PREGNANT!
