“It’s convenient right next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Took us 2 minutes to get there. The prices are reasonable and the food tastes great and made well and fast. The ladies there are very nice and helpful. I got the French toast and bacon and an orange juice from the cooler. And they had fresh fruit which was very sweet and delicious. My friend got the waffles with eggs and bacon and fruit and orange juice. If I lived here I’d go there a lot. Love the small places ❤️“

“I love the atmosphere of this place. When you enter La Cosecha, you’re welcomed by a variety of restaurants and small local businesses — it feels vibrant and creative.
But I’m focusing on Café Unido, because this coffee comes from my home country, Panama. So every time I’m in Washington, I have to stop by.

The space is filled with beautiful natural light coming through the large windows facing the street — perfect for enjoying a slow moment with a cup of coffee. The aroma and flavor are exactly what I expect from good Panamanian coffee: rich, smooth, and full of character.

I believe they could take even more advantage of how special it is to have a Panamanian coffee franchise in Washington — it deserves to be highlighted and promoted more. I truly hope they open more locations around the city so more people can experience it.

Stopped by More Than Java Café and it absolutely lived up to the name. I grabbed the Salmon Egg & Cheese sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together—definitely not your average breakfast sandwich. I paired it with the Island Paradise Smoothie, and that was a win all on its own: smooth, refreshing, and packed with tropical flavor.

The staff really made the experience even better. They were welcoming, friendly, and patient, taking the time to make sure everything was right and offering great energy from the moment I walked in. You can tell they genuinely care about both the food and the people they’re serving.

What also stood out is the variety on the menu—plenty of great options, and everything I saw coming out looked just as good as what I ordered. And if you’re planning something special, they also prepare charcuterie boards, which are perfect for events or even to share while you’re visiting the café.

“Cute spot, good oatmilk cappacino, and fast food made on order. They have a lot of bread options and turkey bacon or sausage as we as the regular ones. Limited seating in winter but enough and looks like a fun patio for warmer weather. It's in a a neighborhood and good for people watching and just being a part of daily routine of DC.“

“I come here regularly to work or just grab a drink, and it’s easily one of the best coffee spots in the area. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and you’ll notice a lot of regulars who enjoy coming here. There’s plenty of seating (including a large downstairs area!) so it’s one of the few places nearby where you can reliably find a spot to sit and get some work done.“

Vigia was sweet, patient and a very welcoming employee at the register. I got the chicken Milano and it was 10/10. I ate it there and got a small sandwich to go (ham and Swiss) and couldn't have been happier with my early morning dining experience. The place is quiet and located in an office building. I have to try the rest of the menu..especially the bulgogi special. Whomever is behind this concept has done an excellent job and the employees are great at what they do.“

“A lovely space all hours of the day. I’ve been before for dinner and made it there this morning to do some work and breakfast.

The upstairs feels like a cozy chateau, the fireplace blazing and plentiful seating options. People are sharing tables, putting coats on the rack, chatting, and typing away.

I sat near an outlet and wifi was quick and easy to log on to. Latte and bagel were fabulous and they brought both to my table.

I can’t wait for it to get warmer so I can use their outdoor space once again!“

It reminds me of a latte you would have on vacation outside of the U.S. And the customer service was also top-tier. The cashier was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The cafe environment itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable.“

From the front staff to the cook, everyone was pleasant and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely love what they do—nothing but smiles all around.

I placed my order online, and unfortunately one item didn’t show up on their end. Even so, they took the time to try figure out the confusion and made sure I received my missing item without any issues.

Customer service like this is hard to find these days. Location was clean and the ambience was everything.
Everyone was kind, patient, and professional.

“We stopped by this place after visiting the Bible Museum. The salad bar and hot bar foods were fresh and nicely displayed, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We had the bibimbap and pho from the deli bar — both were amazing and so comforting for the cold DC weather. Highly recommend this place!“

We do not get to eat out that often, for a variety of reasons, but this location made us feel special and welcoming and most important, gave us that sense we could trust them to care for us. “After reading reviews for Food for Thought, thought we would give it a try. OMG! This is my kind of place! Not only was the wait staff knowledgeable and friendly, the service was beyond compare! And the food...exeptional! I had the pitischo parm encrusted chicken with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. My husband had the Angus cheeseburger and beet salad. Both were wonderful! Did I mention the rolls and cornbread? Yummy! And the cherry on top was the trivia/discussion cards on each table (not to mention the biographies and quotes that served as wall decor.) “This Panera has been a lifesaver with return to office. There aren’t many places on my commute route that are open and able to prepare lunch items at 7am. If I haven’t had time to pack lunch I’ll place an order as I’m leaving the house and it’s ready to grab by the time I get there. I just wish they had more/better vegetarian options.“
