“Probably the best sloppy joe I’ve ever had. I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves it, 100%. The guys who make the magic happen inside of this establishment are always happy, and welcoming, leaving you with a memorable TASTY experience. Also, the hot dogs are out of this world. Will keep coming back as long as they’re open ❤️“

“As close to a perfect experience as possible. Food was fresh, tasty and very fast. My sandwich was properly season and the bread was amazing, you could tell it was freshly baked. The prices were extremely reasonable for the area. And the staff were very polite and friendly. This is THE place to get a quick bite. Not to mention the interior was beautiful and extremely clean.“

“I usually stick to my routine and don’t like stepping out of my comfort zone, but for some reason, I decided to try a new sandwich place. I Googled one but couldn’t find it. After driving around in circles, I searched for another location—only to find that it was closed for a while, which was incredibly frustrating.
Fortunately, I stumbled upon Sandwiches & Smoothies (S&S) across the street. The food was delicious, the smoothies were fantastic, and the customer service was excellent! My partner and I enjoyed three sandwiches because we were so hungry I highly recommend supporting this small business—they're doing everything right!“

“Fantastic food, people and atmosphere! Usually I order food ahead of time but Jersey Mike’s is the one place I look forward to ordering and interacting with the staff. Mike, Johnathon, and Jesus ALWAYS bring such a positive vibe to the store when I’m there and make working there look awesome! Will definitely be returning!“

“I ordered the honey maple chicken sandwich! It was falling apart, but had great spicy sweet flavor. Service could be better, but overall a pretty good first time experience. It’s somewhat chaotic inside. I don’t recommend the croissants. They are coated in some kind of sugar glaze. It was too sweet and I could not eat it.“

“I’ve been coming here for about 17 years. I was introduced to this family friendly establishment when I begin working in the 20018 zip-code.
(Sorry to took to late to review but this review is from a visit on 9/13/2024)
I always order the #8 (Cooked Ham & Turkey w/ provolone cheese) everything with extra hot peppers (which aren’t hot at all more pickled), and oil and vinegar.
Pros:
Opens at 9am
Great subs
Family friendly environment
Cost efficient meal
Cons:
Cash only
No pickles ?
Establishment is behind a bus zone (parking sucks)
Here’s a tip, go online and google the establishment, then search through the images to see the menu, then call your order in.
This place can get busy at times.“

“Look at the picture included and you know everything you need to. That sandwich SLAPPED. I’ve eaten there and taken out by this point and I have the following thoughts.
This place is the best example of keeping it simple. They do not try to dress themselves up like the rest of these instagram cafes. They serve delicious sandwiches with quality ingredients at an affordable price. Pure comfort food that warms the soul. The atmosphere of the place is the same. Very unassuming but charming at the same time. Light seating outdoor and indoor for a quick bite during lunch or on your way home from work.
I love this place. I eat it when it when I just want to feel at home. Like those sandwiches your grandma makes that are just so slightly elevated that you know you couldn’t make something as good yourself.“

“No complaints from my visit to this location. The restaurant was clean, the employees were friendly, and even though they were busy, the service was quite fast. I ordered the Italian Sandwich with hot peppers . It was great and the peppers were surprisingly hot. The price for my combo meal with chips and a regular drink was $15.60 If I’m in the area in the future, I would not hesitate to eat here again.

“Great coffee, excellent pastries, also a little artsy-indie grocery shop inside where you can get wines, jams made in France, and some other nice food for yourself or to bring as a gift when you go visit a friend. The only issue I have is with their furniture. They have a few comfortable spots inside but some of their tables and chairs are metal, the kinds that normally get placed on the patio. That's super uncomfortable.“

“I decided to venture over to Taylor Gourmet on K Street, a spot that once boasted 17 locations in D.C. and was the talk of the town. I’ve passed by countless times, intrigued by its mysterious, limited hours. Then, a twist of fate—someone decided it was time to extend those hours and serve more than just the office lunch crowd. I took this as my cue to finally dive into their offerings.
With a welcoming smile, the cashier greeted me as I stepped inside. The menu was tempting, but I set my sights on the Classic Cheesesteak—though I opted for chicken instead of the usual beef. I skipped the chips and sides, settling for a drink. Here’s where my love affair with iced tea hit a snag: they only had small bottled versions, and I’m a sucker for freshly brewed with free refills. Alas, not every place is perfect.
But then, my sandwich arrived, hot off the grill, and all was forgiven. In a city not exactly renowned for its cheesesteaks, this one was a revelation. The roll was that perfect balance of soft and sturdy, cradling a medley of flavors that sang with every bite. Affordable and satisfying, I think I’ve found my new go-to spot for a solid cheesesteak fix.
Our office had them cater a party once, and they served up a feast of salads, cookies, and an array of subs. I was so engrossed in the salads that I didn’t snap any pics—rookie mistake! But trust me, it was all delicious.
If you find yourself near 14th and K Street, do yourself a favor and stop by Taylor Gourmet. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu. Here’s hoping the new management keeps up the great work and maybe even brings back more locations. This place is a tasty gem waiting to be rediscovered!“

“Excellent Subs! online website for pickup or delivery has been improved so you can select delivery online without any problems. This was partially due to the website connection to Doordash at the same time, even if you do not select them and are doing a delivery, not pickup. The employees at the store never see the directions. That goes to Doordash's website and must be sent over to another delivery company but on the website it is clear that Jersey Mike's prefers Doordash as they actually have it highlighted in blue and call it Jersey Mike's Preferred way to have delivery.
I just had a conversation with someone who was very nice at the Rockville Store. But just about confusion over the vinegar and olive oil which I explain if you keep reading. The confusion about the oil and vinegar if you want to keep an extra sub in the fridge and don't want the bread like it was dipped in water the next day. I was told what I thought was two different stories and the nice man just explained the confusion to me. I was told olive oil and then the vinegar are already together, which contradicts the check boxes on the website. The website is correct. What they do if you want them on the side is: they have already made on the side cups for both oil and the vinegar, both but in separate cups. They will only give you one or the other if you add a note to the "Customization" button. They will always give both to customers together otherwise, which explains the confusion and makes perfect sense to me. If they start taking from the premade pairs then they will end up with having just one or the other so they leave the pairs alone to go out together. What you don't know when ordering online is that they always sent out both unless you say literally "Oil on the side" under the "Customization" part of the order process, for example. Then they will go get an empty cup and pour you a side cup of oil directly from the olive oil bottle, same for just the vinegar. That is why managers told me they were both together at first which is really confusing when the website shows them separate.“

“Sure, their prices can be high, but I love this place for lunch. My favorite dish is their curry chicken salad (the salad, not the sandwich). If you like curry chicken salad, you MUST try this. The dressing is to die for, the chicken salad is amazing, and they pair it with all the right toppings. I also love their fries, which are made to order. The warm bowls are also great and decent portions!“

“Potbelly has been around since 1977 from Chicago, Illinois and is perfect when you’re in DC sightseeing and need a quick dine in or to go meal!
I’m all about the positive vibes when eating out! Whether it’s a fast food joint or a dine in restaurant. When you go, you hope to be satisfied with what you pay for. I have never been let down, it’s quick, easy, simple subs, full of flavor! I’ve been going to Potbelly’s for years since they opened up one in Annapolis, Maryland right next to a movie theater. We would get a few subs and sneak them into the theater. Best movie meal ever!
Anyway, we were in Washington DC and we were trying to get a quick bite before seeing the MJ musical… at the National Theatre. And by the way, one of the best musicals I’ve seen in a long time! Anyway, we ordered our usual, double turkey sub with everything. and of course, I got one of the chocolate chip cookie! Toasted bread with melted cheese on a turkey sub, pure indulgence! But, I do have to say, the Potbelly in Annapolis does a little better on the double turkey sub lol! But who is pointing fingers? ?
If you’re in the mood for something fast and you love subs and large homemade cookies, you haven’t been to a Potbelly yet, you definitely have to try them out. they are everywhere! They also make soups and smoothies. They have refreshments and bagged snacks.
My wife even mentioned about the atmosphere… Has a 70s vibe, lots of wall decor big open space makes you feel like you’re walking into a place you’d enjoy sitting down and eating. #potbelly #subshop #sandwichworks
Parking: OK, well this is Washington DC so you either have to find a parking spot on the street, or in a garage you know the deal… And if you don’t mind walking park anywhere you can… At least with reasonable distance up the restaurant. But most people don’t go to DC to just eat at Potbelly’s it happens to be a convenience when you’re in DC and there’s lots of sites to see in the areas.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendliness, it’s a casual/fast food kind of dining experience with all kinds of subs. I’m sure kids would like not to mention the snacks and the big cookies.“

“It's a Subway, so no atmosphere, no decor, but the place was super clean -- possibly close to closing time at 4:40p on a Tuesday. Easy parking in this large strip mall parking lot. I purchased two foot-long chicken and onion teriyaki sub combo meals, which included a small soft drink and choice of chips or a cookie for each meal. No other patrons in the store at the time, so very quiet, and the gal who helped was quick and pleasant... particularly when my newly-downloaded Subway App had to be re-downloaded to get it to work. But, as this was my very first time scanning from the Subway App, when I was told by the employee the scanner was ready I apparently held my phone too close to the scanner face because it didn't scan until I pulled my phone away in frustration...then, it beeped as scanned. But the store employee watched me as I kept trying to scan with my phone right up against the scanner and I even said it's not working but she didn't suggest that I was holding my phone too close. Also, when I asked to instead provide my phone number to get points -- because when I initially signed up for the rewards program, it stated that my phone number would suffice for in-store points accrual -- the employee indicated that wasn't doable. As the only staff member at the counter, she didn't seem like a new employee -- she certainly knew how to make the subs and ring up the combo purchases -- so, it could be that some additional scanner and rewards program training/information is needed. However, to rectify the scanning problem, she might have consulted with the other employee in the back, who passed through the front for a second when I first arrived at the counter, especially since they weren't busy. And, to add to the experience, both heavy foot-longs were placed in the same bag, which handles broke off and the thin paper bag crashed onto the rain-soaked ground spilling out the chips just as I reached my car -- those flimsy paper carry bags aren't strong enough to hold two foot-long subs, which should have been placed in separate bags. Anyway, though a few frustrations, when I finally got home, I thoroughly enjoyed my sub.“
