“I like authentic Chinese food and this place has dishes that are very similar to what I had in China. It’s really hard to find Chinese restaurants in the states that aren’t “Americanized.”
The numbing picked sour fish soup was delicious, and the side dishes (marinated chicken slices and cucumber salad) was extremely flavorful.“

“You know you’re going to have good food when the servers get excited about your menu decisions. Everything was absolutely wonderful. We got to sit at the bar with a direct view of the kitchen. I don’t know if the octopus or the truffle dumpling was my favorite, but I know I’m getting both when I go back. The whole fried snapper had a delicious light breading. The duck noodles were tasty too; I will probably try to get it spicier next time. I’ll likely be back in a couple of weeks. I’m still thinking about the food. Also, this husband-wife team perfected my experience by ensuring such excellent service. They need to teach a workshop to other restauranteurs.“

“The most affordable, fast and tasty lunch option in the area. It’s a family-owned spot with great lunch specials and options for vegetarians. Highly recommend. It’s more of a takeout spot, but they have a few seats if you need to eat lunch in house“

“Fantastic lunch experience at P.F. Chang’s – Tyson Corner!
The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was fresh and full of flavor, and the dessert was just as impressive. What really made our visit special was our server, Will. He was exceptional – friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Service was quick, portions were generous, and Will even packed our leftovers with great care. Truly a memorable lunch. Highly recommend!“

“Love this place! Happened upon it when I worked close by and went twice in one 3 days! The food is delicious, the ambiance is great, and their little server robot is adorable. The pork soup dumplings were the best I've had since returning to the states. Incredibly rich and meaty! Definitely check this place out!“

“The ownership of this restaurant has changed, but the food did not disappoint! Ordered Fried Rice, Egg Roll, Chicken Broccoli, and Lo Mein. First of all, Fried Rice was not too soft or mushy. It was still really warm even after bringing it home. The egg in the Fried Rice looked fresh, being better than the last owner’s. The Egg Roll stayed the same, which was still really tasty! The Chicken Broccoli tasted great. Not too much sauce and the broccoli was not too soft or hard. The Lo Mein was well cooked with the right amount of sauce! The son working at the counter was also really kind while taking and giving me my order. Will be ordering again!“

“My husband and I have been here a couple of times now and the food we’ve tried never disappoints! Everything is delicious and for dishes that we thought were a bit too pricey, their generous portion definitely makes up for it! We especially love the fish dishes here. Great service too. One of our favorite spots whenever we’re in the area!“

“Visiting from California to drop off our son for a summer internship, we stumbled upon Q by Peter Chang for a late-evening meal—and what a great decision it turned out to be. After a long day of travel and goodbyes, this spot hit the mark on every front.
We started with dim sum, which was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and artfully presented. The service was attentive but not overbearing, striking a perfect balance for a relaxed dinner.
The Szechuan-style dishes were a highlight: sweet and spicy in just the right way, offering a rich, layered flavor without overwhelming the palate. We tried the chicken and pork entrees, which were especially delicious—tender, perfectly cooked, and deeply satisfying.
A special mention goes to the wonton soup, which had all the comfort and kick you’d want—perfect for battling jet lag or a hangover.
Overall, Q by Peter Chang delivered a warm, flavorful welcome to the East Coast. I highly recommend it if you’re in the area—whether you’re visiting or local- it’s a spot worth going out of your way for.“

“They have massive numbers of menu items and options. Everything is super fresh and delicious! They always put out the Specials menu outside of the front door. They are always super busy during the weekend and only take reservations for 5-6 groups of people. During the weekend the waiting time normally 30-60 minutes for dining in. But their to-go were always good. Some of the items online were no longer available, will need to double check with them.“

“The restaurant is nothing fancy but is one of my favorite rice noodles soup. So many different soup varieties but I love kimchi fatty beef and my partner always gets tomatoes 🍅😆 And if you like spicy, highly recommend the Spicy Beef Tripe Rice Noodles!
You can choose to cook yourself at the table which is what we did. It comes with all the sides that you would put in the noodles soup. It's so much more fun 😁 and the soup is very hot so don't worry the meat will cook just fine. Such flavorful soup and silky smooth rice noodles, it's the best in the winter time.“

“I would consider myself a connoisseur of all Asian foods from Chinese to Japanese, Korean ,Vietnamese, Thai and everything in between. House of Foo Ling is definitely a favorite . The owner is so personable and always remembers that I like her soft shell crab dish which is cooked to order and always outstanding. I also enjoy The Egg Foo Yung , Thai Basil Shrimp, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, as well as the Orange chicken or Orange shrimp. I can’t wait to take my family as I know they will enjoy it as much as my best friend and I do. You will never be disappointed.!!! 10/10 ❤️“

“Must try their mala dry hotpot—it’s incredibly flavorful! I personally love this place, but be prepared for bold flavors as it’s extremely salty and spicy, which can be a bit much afterward. The taste, however, is very authentic. Keep in mind that the setup isn’t the most comfortable for dining in due to the high volume of takeout orders. While the staff will take your order, the service can sometimes be a bit inattentive.“

“This is some seriously good Ameri-Chinese food. Fresh, flavorful, great portions—all for a respectable price. Yes, it’s carry-out only. Assuming that’s why they’re able to keep the prices so low. But I loved swinging by here on my way home because the family who owns the place are so, so sweet.“

“I love this place for the vibe and the fact that it stays open until 2:00 a.m. is a huge bonus. Sometimes I’m just so hungry late at night and there’s nowhere else open. Weekends are especially fun when other diners get into the karaoke. It creates such a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
On my first visit, our server was named Vicky (or Vicki) she was super sweet, very attentive, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Overall, just a great server!
The food was decent, and I’ll definitely be coming back, mostly for the awesome late-night energy and fun vibe.“

“Located in downtown Rockville, Maryland, Sichuan Jin Restaurant specializes in authentic Sichuan cuisine. My wife and I have been loyal customers for over 20 years, and our recent visit reminded us why.
Don't expect fancy decor or ample seating, but if you crave spicy Chinese food, especially Sichuan dishes, this restaurant delivers.
Sichuan Jin's standout features include homemade-style cooking with generous portions, making it ideal for intimate gatherings with family and friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Sichuan flavors through every dish.
During our recent visit, we ordered four dishes, including the delicious beef noodle soup and a dessert: crispy pumpkin cake with sweet red bean paste. A must-try! Consider try it before dinner – you won't regret it.
The price was approx. $50 per person, well worth it considering the generous portions and leftovers. Overall, I strongly recommend Sichuan Jin Restaurant for Sichuan food enthusiasts.
Parking: The town center garage parking is free within two hours.“

“Peter Chang is an absolutely amazing chef. This is one of his many restaurants. The menu allows you to order many small plates (akin to tapas) to try a variety of the menu. I had the soup dumplings and Peking Duck Buns for my appetizers and they were exceptional! I had the Dan Dan Noodles for my main course. It was also delicious. In fact, they were the best Dan Dan Noodles I've ever eaten! The portion is also very large as I had some difficulty finishing it.“

“I ordered the beef lo mein with a side of plain white rice. Food was very quick and hot. The lo mein was delicious and the service was very nice. You can't really sit down and eat here though, there are a couple chairs for waiting for your food delivery inside and a small table with 2 chairs outside.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's only a small 1 or 2 inch step into the restaurant but they have a ramp nonetheless“

“I ordered take-out via Grubhub, the sushi was very fresh & tasted great. Presentation was all there however, the Volcano appetizer was tiny. For $13.00 and it being that small, if I had dined in the restaurant and it came out like that I would have sent it back. I won’t be ordering that again!“

“Based this experience, I can only give a 'reluctant' 4-stars *only* because the ingredients used were really fresh. Past Peter Chang visits at other locations seem like the entrees were created for tourists and this theme seems to have permeated to this location as well. It's been a mystery on what the Peter Chang created cuisine is meant to celebrate since the Chinese entrees carry marketed Sichuan or Chengdu flavors that are very muted, lackluster, and just brand-name expensive.
What is carrying the 4-star is the use of very fresh ingredients which is an absolute must if a restaurant wants to survive in this super-affluent McLean neighborhood; otherwise, I would have assigned a 3-star rating. We ordered the Dry-spicy combo hot pot, Chengdu seafood with crispy rice, Dragon eggplang with garlic sauce, and Amish duck bone soup with pickled radish.
What made dinner enjoyable? ..... the highly considerate staff. Again, good staff service would be a must in this affluent McLean neighborhood. Other than fresh ingredients and considerate service, I can pass on visiting Peter Chang moving forward.
Why pass on Peter Chang for me? We ordered the most Sichuan/Chengu spicy entree and nothing was ma-la/chengdu/sichuan spicy at all (this was the biggest let down of the entire dinner). The eggplant was cloyingly, aggressively too sweet. The Amish duck soup was supremely salty. And the Chengdu seafood entree was only adequate. Now the plating is another awkward story. The plating for all dishes were not practical at all and the spoon utensil seems more for show than ladling any liquid at the bottom of the bowl or plate. The dry hot pot swiveled like a gryoscope whenever you are mixing ingredients to prevent burnt food at the bottom. The huge bowl for the Chengdu seafood had such a small base, it could tip at any moment. Come to think of it, the plating and dishware seem to be prioritized higher than the flavor of the food. On top of all this, the price for each entree is nose-bleed high for the lack of authenticity in the entree recipes. To add insult to injury, each bowl of white rice was billed separately and didn't come with ordered entrees.“

“Tasty but inconsistent. My husband finds their food too sweet - like they use more sugar in the sauces than normal. Twice they've forgotten to include the soup I paid extra for, so double-check before leaving.
Portion sizes are great - we always have lots of leftovers when we get 3 combo meals for 2 adult and 2 young kids.
We had the sesame chicken and orange chicken (both on the sweet side) and the hunan beef (very fresh and nice). We ordered medium spicy for the beef and even though I could see red pepper on it, it wasn't spicy - at all. I even gave some to the baby. The fried rice and egg rolls are good.“

“I would describe this restaurant as Cantonese style, and some Chinese-American dishes. It is also a very good place to eat.
This time, I had Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, and it was really yummy. I also had 1/2 Lbs of BBQ roast pork with it It was really tasty. It made me happy all day, a good Chinese meal. It feels very Chinese, which is good, too. Hot tea pot for free with the meal. That Chinese broccoli with the oyster sauce is probably extremely healthy.
I suggest you go or at least try Full Key in Wheaton. They have lunch specials. I may go back for the beef and broccoli special, next time. One time I had sweet and sour Chicken or Pork it was really a tasty dish, real tasty. They have lots of nice traditional Hong Kong style soups. Duck and pork. Everything a fan of Chinese food could or would want. Thanks, Full Key,
James“

“Amazing girl’s night out dinner. The lychee rose martini was spectacular! We had a scallion bubble pancake, chengdu garlic steamed pork belly (1 level spicy for these American girls who like a little spice), vegetable fried rice, and steamed pork soup dumplings (have to have the black vinegar and ginger with it). Hands down we would order every one of them again. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. It was super busy and bustling and full of animated conversations. Family friendly but not impacting parities without children. It was not too loud, so we could carry on a conversation easily. Absolutely recommend dinner here for a fun and delicious night out.“

“Something to be said for doing the traditional dishes well above average. Hot and sour soup tangy and full of veggies. Sesame and teriyaki chicken top notch. Beef and broccoli and pork fried rice all you could ask for. Portions are ample, and service consistently cordial. Plenty of parking. Plenty of options. Just what a good neighborhood Chinese restaurant should provide. And leftovers for seconds, maybe even thirds“

“We have been ordering various menu items frequently from this restaurant since they opened and have been very pleased with the food and the service. As a matter of fact, we are ordering take out from this restaurant tonight! My only wish is that they hire a better website designer that will allow for more comments so that you can customize dishes when ordering on their website. For example, if you want your dish extra spicy, you could indicate that in comments. Their website is not allow anything like this presently.“
