“Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!“
“I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. The staff was warm and inviting, and so was the decor and fragrances. I detected a hint of incense and palo santo. I recommend the hearts of palm salad, the Causa, and scallops to warm up. The fish was superbly executed, but the name of the fish escapes me. We had ours served cold (dry aged?) with the Rocoto sauce which was mild yet fantastic. The pisco sour coctail enhanced the flavors for me. My overall impression was that all flavors are somewhat mild but not boring, everything tastes super fresh; and like one at our table mentioned, you can almost taste every single ingredient but in a good way.“

Killed it! Immaculate dinner, drinks and service from the team as well - the hosts were super friendly and understanding even as we showed up about 10 minutes late on a busy night for them. Medium-dark lighting and a very chill/calm atmosphere really made for a nice, intimate night.The Valentine's menu is a bit different than the normal a la carte menu, which is all the more reason to come back. We had the tortelli stuffed pasta, olive-braised lamb, roasted squash, tuna crudo, olive oil cake, and lemon semifreddo - not ONE miss all night. “Went for my daughter's birthday.Food was above average,the star i took away was due to kebab being burnt from one side ,but the rest tasted great .The ribs, adana and everything we ordered tasted like authentic turkish food. There was one man on the floor who was running like a headless chicken but was serving 6 tables. The place was jam packed and a bit noisy for us, therefore, took a star away. “We walked into this unassuming neighborhood restaurant in Bethesda after seeing rather positive reviews, and walked out pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, flavorful, but not overwhelmingly seasoned. We loved most of our dishes especially the seafood saffron soup, sautéed shrimp with garlic, octopus, grilled squid, stuffed Portobello mushrooms. Lovely desserts got the flan con naranja and the chocolate mousse cake. Highly recommended.“

After telling the waiter three times I would like my steak medium and my partner steak medium rare they couldn’t get that right and when we advise them of their mistake the waiter and the manager both laughed and said o well sorry. I’m not the only one I had a friend that ate here a few weeks ago and told me it went downhill also. So they gave us a $10 discount on a $200 bill“

Most tapas are worth trying (didn’t like the fried oyster mushrooms), but keep in mind for large plates there may be a long wait at busy times. The wine list is well balanced, and there are wine flights to try if you’re in the mood for more than one kind.“
“I’ve been wanting to go to Cork for years, and never made it in, so I finally made a reservation for a Friday night and I’m so glad that I did. At first I didn’t even know there was an upstairs section, but we were seated upstairs and it was a very nice atmosphere. Cozy and comfortable and and excellent place to enjoy a glass of wine or have a meal. Our server was very welcoming and clearly knew his stuff. We know a little about wine but not enough to be successful, so we really appreciated the recommendations. I think we could have used a bit more attention during the night but our server was also tending to the bar patrons, so this was neither here nor there. While we did not have dinner the menu, though focused, looked excellent. My one negative comment would be related to the vintners plate (read charcuterie board) which while $24, had nearly nothing on it. However this seems to be the norm in DC these days unfortunately. Overall I would say a very nice experience and definitely would be a repeat visitor.“

“This is a lovely newer, small, family-run Spanish & Mexican restaurant in downtown Silver Spring (directly across from AFI & very near Filmore & Regal Cinema). The cocktail & wine list is small but well chosen with plenty of tequilas/mezcals & even portos. Small tapas & starters cover Spanish favorites such as Pan a la Catalan (delicious), boquerias, albondigas (in green tomatillo sauce!), shrimp, & croquetas, with some creative takes on Spanish classics. Also tapas & dishes covering ceviche, cured meats, even paella. Daily specials included a delicious seafood soup (app or side, not a main). Also Mexican faves such as guacamole, tacos, fajitas & qeusadillas, etc. Will need several visits to explore the menu! Friendly & excellent service. Highly recommend!“
“We had an incredibly delicious brunch at nada. Our server Franz was very friendly and made wonderful recommendations. We went with the Huevos Rancheros and Chicken enchiladas. Both dishes were to die for. Franz also recommended the Brussels sprouts as an app and holy moly they were gooooood. We will absolutely be back!“
