“It's a tiny little shop but they hands down on the best sushi in town. Everywhere they open a store it becomes the best sushi in town. Speaking of which one of you guys opening a White Marsh location?Vegetarian options: They have more vegetarian offerings than any other sushi shop around, The oshinco and the sweet potato are particularly good.Parking: It's a strip mall but there's plenty of spaces even during lunchKid-friendliness: The mushroom soup they offer for free at the beginning of the meal is great and the free appetizer is sweet and palatable for kids. The chicken fried rice is also great for picky eaters.“
“Illusions is a hidden gem! Spencer's magic show was nothing short of phenomenal. The way he effortlessly captivated the audience with his sleight of hand and illusions was truly impressive. The cozy atmosphere of the bar heightened the experience, making it feel like a private performance just for us. Nicole's expert mixology skills were the cherry on top. Can't wait to come back for more magic!“
“The bartenders were very kind and helpful! The drinks were quickly made and were delicious. We also ordered the olives and they were very tasty too. This is a very nice place that gives off a vintage Miami vibe as there are upholstered lounge chairs, mirrors, and palm trees made of mirrors.“
“Everything was excellent, I mean everything~ Can't wait to go back!Vegetarian options: I love curry and it was excellent. Also had the mushroom tom kha soup which was on the spring menu - home run!Dietary restrictions: Very easy to eat Gluten Free plus vegan which can be a challenge.“
“Just had a get-together with friends for my 40th birthday here, and it was fantastic! We had a larger party of 7, and it was great to be able to make a reservation and not have to worry about getting seating or anything like that. Our server, Andy (not sure if that's the correct spelling--if not, so sorry!) was wonderful. They were attentive, and had excellent timing in coming over for additional drink orders right as we were finishing up a round. The drink menu is phenomenal, and the hardest part was narrowing down which to choose. I don't think any of us had a drink we didn't like. We also shared a few tasting flights, and each pour was just enough for 6 of us who wanted to try them to each have a little sip to taste. Highly recommend the first gin in the Orange Flight and the last in the Weird AF flight!Parking on the street was super easy--we were there at 7 on a Saturday and we all found spots right nearby. This was my first time coming, and I will most definitely be back!“
“First time at Marta's for the three of us. Tried three appetizers (sheep's milk ricotta with butter, octopus caciattore and the arancini milanese) and we all enjoyed them with a nice bottle of Ruvet Barbera d'Alba which was a perfect pairing to stand up to the richness of our entrees (Bronzini and honey glazed sea bass with a delightful caviar and lobster sauce). We will be back for sure! And next time we'll be sampling what looked like a wonderful collections of pasta!“
“Dedicated gluten free fryer!!!! Enjoy tater tots, fried shrimp, chicken tenders, crab cakes, and crab dip without worrying about gluten cross contamination. They also have GF crusts for pizza and gf bread for sandwiches. The service is casual and friendly and the place has a nice tavern feel. We will be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free menu“
“Great place, positive atmosphere, nice employees and not too busy on this particular night where as the bowling alley booked… only thing was there seemed to be only one person able to serve us but I’m not sure… also I wish there were more nonalcoholic drink options.Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower was tasty, a little too spicy for me but a great dish over all.“
“If cozy had a picture next to it in the dictionary, it would look like Anchor Tavern. We loved heading downstairs (underground) to the bar, with its low and moody lighting, impeccably dressed and attentive bartender, excellent music selection, and delicious drinks. We didn’t take photos of the before (shame on us) but the Fabulous French 75 was the best I’ve ever had.If you’re in search of a cozy, low key, old-soul bar- come grab a drink!“
“Went on a Saturday for the lunch buffet. Every dish was AWESOME! Great selection of food, naan for the table, and the chai was delicious. We could only eat 2 plates before we were all stuffed! This is a "hidden" gem that should have a line out the door 24/7. Can't wait to go back!“
“Destiny is an all time ALL STARSHES SUPER FRIENDLY AND CONSTANTLY MAKING SURE OUR FOOD AND DRINKS ARE PERFECTLY SERVED TO OUR AND YOUR LIKING. THATS WHY MY DAUGHTER & I ATE HERE 3 times out THE week. Destiny is your GIRLParking: Parking is close to the restaurant.Excellent parking“
“I don't make a habit of spending time in Fed Hill because it's generally not my kinda vibe, but Idle Hour is the exception to that rule. It's a completely different ambiance than most places in the area. Divey, casual, lots of character, and incredible drinks. I love a dive bar, don't get me wrong, but sometimes that means drinking disgusting mixed drinks and rail tequila. Not at Idle Hour though. They have some incredible cocktails and a stellar wine list. Their specialty is chartreuse. I actually hadn't tried this herbal alcoholic concoction up until recently but I'm now a big fan. Idle Hour has several cocktails that include this unique spirit including some classics like a mule or an old fashioned and some more custom creations like "the last word" and "naked and famous". Beware, these drinks do pack a punch though! It's definitely a neighborhood spot with it's fair amount of regulars. I think that just adds to the charm. Cheers!“
“If you are looking for a place to get an incredible cocktail, look no further. Everything about Southpaw exudes elegance and knowledge. It's not flashy but a lot of the time flash is just a way to cover up shortcomings. Southpaw has no shortcomings. The owner is always there and working diligently to provide the best experience possible. If you are passionate about your drinks, go to Southpaw!“
“Wendy was amazing the most pleasant person, if you should be so lucky to get Wendy as your waiter she is the best very attentive and kind. I think this is my new favorite spot…I had the curry goal but I can’t want to come back and try the oxtail tacoKid-friendliness: The best service“
“This is a restaurant worth a visit. My experience was great. The only issue I had was parking, if you're not there early enough you will have to park and walk a couple of streets. It's also best to arrive early because this place fills up fast. This was my first Mexican restaurant, so I had no clue what I was about to eat. Thanks to our server Ray, who suggested everything I ordered (I asked for their choosing), I was able to order. I had a pineapple coconut cocktail, strong and sweet, fulfilling. Appetizers were stuffed Tamales, and I got a cheese dip with roasted vegetables in the middle of the dip, served with chips. (This is the english version. Lol) My entree was beef tips on a sandwich bread...it was to die for. My friend enjoyed their dessert; however I did not. So I won't mention what they had. This place was clean, family friendly, original, and culturally kept. The cost is very reasonable, $40 should be enough per person. I will be returning.“
“Jenny was my server and she was phenomenal! She was attentive and was even able to anticipate our wants. The food was amazing as well. I ordered the lamb chops and the were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was nice as well. I would recommend this place to anyone based on the service that Jenny provided.“
“This gem is set in the heart of Hampden. Incredible energy from both bar staff and regulars. I was greeted with enchanting laughter as I walked into the bar . They make a very smooth old-fashioned that's made in-house , I also recommend the Low Life . Drink prices are very cheap, I was here for about 3 hours with 2 other friends of mine and the bill was only 95 bucks. Melanie's at Griffith' Tavern is the real deal.“
“The cocktails from here are unique and delicious. The future ball is my favorite. I have tried all of the short rib food dishes and they are all fantastic. Bonus points that they have a seasonal cocktail menu meaning you can get something different every time you go.“
“We just had a party of 7 for post-wedding lunch - the food was excellent, our server (Keith I believe?) was great and had energy to match ours and thank you team Rusty Scupper for the bottle of champagne. Wonderful experience, I can’t wait to dine in again.“
“We went to Phillip’s for dinner after a great day at the aquarium. We could not have picked a better restaurant to end our day! Our server Tiera was absolutely wonderful. She was cheerful, attentive, communicative, and efficient. We had stuffed lobster tail, shrimp and seared scallops, a lobster roll, and mac and cheese, a hot dog, and cheeseburger for the kids. Everyone loved their meal! We also got the coconut cake, flourless chocolate cake, and cheesecake to share between 7 of and scraped the plates clean! The restaurant was busy, and even though we had a short wait at 5pm, our experience was absolutely worth the wait! It was lively, but it was not loud and we were able to enjoy conversation over dinner. 10/10!Dietary restrictions: We had two different food allergies in our party and they were noted and taken special care of.Kid-friendliness: Coloring activities and a fun surprise if the kids showed the server their artwork. Great food options and special, fun drink options just for kids.“
“I have always wanted to try this place but for whatever reason kept pushing it off and I'm mad I did. I went for date night and there was no happy hour but that wont stop me from going back!Steamed shrimp was perfect! Beer cold, service-good, sliders-great, Buffalo wings had the best sauce ever, celery not limp and was fresh.Arrive early because its small and will get packed quick.“
“Fantastic place. Probably my favorite bar in Baltimore. They having amazing cocktails which are prized excellently and doesn’t leave a giant hole in my wallet. They also have a few beers on tap. Great vibe, cozy and welcoming. The bartenders are friendly, superb hosts and make great recommendations.Highly recommend the house sangria.“
“Nestled within the Locust Point neighborhood, this hidden gem of a cocktail bar is a true rarity. The drinks crafted here are more than just libations; they are meticulously concocted works of art that tantalize the senses with their superb taste and unparalleled quality. The dedication to crafting each drink reflects a genuine passion for mixology that is truly a cut above the rest. What truly sets this place apart is not only the extraordinary beverages it serves, but also the warmth and attentiveness of the service. From the moment you step in, you're embraced with a welcoming ambiance that instantly makes you feel like a cherished regular. If you're seeking an fun evening filled with exquisite drinks and marvelous hospitality, don't miss the chance to pay The Last Penny a visit.“
“Perfect way to start AND end a night when visiting Maryland's best comedy club. If you're there with a tab an hour before the show, you can check-in early and skip the line for will call ? (Just ask one of the fabulous bartenders about pre-seating). At the end of the night, stop back in! You'll get half off your first round of drinks after every show! ?Tons of drink and food combinations to try including the "burger of the month", a new late night munchies menu, and so many bourbon and whiskey options to explore! ?And if you're feeling brave, you can try out your jokes at the bar's comedy open mics on Tuesday and Thursday nights.Love this place.Parking: Not just one, but two free parking lots (located on either side of the entrance). To top it off, the bar is walking distance from the Holiday Inn.“
“I do a lot of traveling, I eat a lot of food in different places from different cultures. This place was definitely in my top 5 in Curry related restaurants. Will definitely be visiting next time I come to the Baltimore area. If you are thinking of this place, don't sleep on the option.“
“My go-to place. Vikki and Dan are fantastic bartenders that can make delicious cocktails – just say what you’re in the mood for and they’ll whip up something you’ll enjoy. Definitely try something from the expansive tinned fish selection if you want something to eat on the lighter side. Also, the Detroit-style pizza is quite good (and this is coming from someone raised in southeast Michigan).“
“One-eyed Mike's is located on a residential street. It is a converted rowhome that will surprise you. You open the door and a long bar fills the dimly lit space. Everyone is friendly. The owner is awesome and definitely comes out and chats with you. There are regulars and new guests. All the food is really good and most of the portions are huge. The wedge salad is big enough to split and the chunks of bacon in it are amazing. The coolest thing about One-eyed Mike's is you can be a member of the Grand Marnier club. I would tell you all about it, but just go and find out for yourself.“

“Great wing and great service. Make sure to hit them up on a Tuesday when they have their wing special. Good beer selection but not a ton on tap. Very true to their name of tavern as the atmosphere is very tavern. Parking can be tricky so if you are meeting someone on a date maybe leave early.“
“I love the vibe here and the kind staff. I went randomly on a Wednesday night and had a great time playing bingo! Great place to go alone or with friends. The smash burger and fries are awesome. I also love their old fashioneds; they make them with love.“

“This is a neighborhood bar and you will definitely feel welcomed. The drinks are good and custom made based on what you like. I cannot have sweet drinks so a drink was made specifically for me. I will definitely be back... Oh the crabs were on point as well!“
“Very friendly staff, who were more than helpful in creating for an eventful night out as a group as we were visiting from North Carolina. Can’t go wrong with the Birria anything and combined with the excellent tequila selection. We even took home a pizza box of tacos with Ruben’s Hot Sauce for late night snacking 10/10 ⭐️“
“Friendly service, super loud inside, both music and people. It has a good vibe if you are there before a game like I was. If you go inside, you will need to order at the bar, and then you just pick a table and hang out. I'm game day that was basically no tables or seats available. So I ended up ordering and walking about 20 minutes in 20° weather and snow and ended up having tater tots loaded. The tots were still crispy on the outside somehow, not crunchy, but that's on me because I took so long to eat it. The sauce on top with the crispy bacon, which actually was still crispy! And there was a good amount of cheese all over it as well. I highly recommend it“
“Nice bar they do make you feel at home!! I would give it 6 stars if it wasn't for the area other then that it's lovely Owner's are so nice I don't mind spending my money there!!! I'll be returning just not late night!!“
“Geneva and dee were PHENOMINAL very quick to assist and an awesome friendly atmosphere, ive known about judys for quite some time but never have been to ear, i was craving some good jerk chicken and they did not dissapoint! I will be back for “
“Delia Foley's has trivia on Wednesdays upstairs. We sat downstairs. Service is not bad. Sometimes a little slow, not knowing where the server went but it's probably because they are serving both upstairs and downstairs. The wings are good. Not totally drenched in sauce but we'll covered. Many of their sauces are a variation on their buffalo sauce. The cheeseburger egg rolls were really tasty. I really liked the sauce with them, a variation of thousand Island sauce I think. I'm always a little surprised with how expensive 10 wings can be, but I think it's in align with most places. The wings are listed as MP on the menu. It was about $16 for one order of wings of 10. They have music playing and general vibes are of a bar/tavern. Overall, chill vibes. Good food. Certainly plan on returning.“
“Did a lot of drinking here! Almost everything on their menu is really good. Only had maybe one or two drinks that were not to my liking. If you're a Mead or cider fan, this is the place for you!Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free pizza when we were there.Parking: Somewhat sketchy to park on the street but overall ok.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in“
“Friday Night and Sunday night Karaoke ? with Phil. Great Times, Great People and Great Atmosphere. If you are in the area and like to sing come on out. They will take Great care of you and it is a no judgement zone. Leave your EGO at the ? door, Please . !!“
“If time permits, come find Harry to try a watermelon margarita. He blends up fresh watermelons for them. Fun local watering hole in Locust Point. The atmosphere and conversation here was as good/better than the food next door. Which is a busy Crab spot. Both made for a great experience and I would tell anyone to follow these tracks.“
“I'm going to call The Cannon Room a hidden gem, because you might not know about it (without reading about it on Yelp, of course). Even once we got inside the Sagamore Pentry, we had to ask for directions to the Cannon Room anyway, because it's tucked away in the back. But the ambiance, the comfort, the decor, and the whiskey selections are all top notch. There are some very good surprise finds on the menu, but unfortunately others know about them, and we were told some of those are often gone within a week. Customers not staying at the hotel will have to start a tab with a charge card. If you're looking for a higher-end whiskey experience in the area, this is your place.“
“Upscale cocktails in a cozy lounge speakeasy vibe. House Cocktails are $20 each, which is a little steep, and I've definitely had a better cocktail; however, when you consider cocktail prices in the neighborhood, they make sense. You're predominantly paying for unique cocktails in an incredible atmosphere. Great place for a pre-game or night cap round!“
“So look.. I am always good for a hood spot and initially tht was my impression but then I stepped inside.. Babbbbbbby the bartender.. the owner took great care of us.. It was karaoke & ppl were singing and having a great time.. I am def going bk.. family oriented..good food..just a great time!“
“So often in life we take the little things for granted. A strangers smile, a kind word, a pat on the back when Maryland teams are doing poorly and need a sign from the universe to keep on going. This is the place to go when you need a friend, a confidant, a shoulder to cry or laugh on. This bar saved me when I was at my lowest and gave me a community that I can depend on. I’ve danced on the bar tops, did spins on the floor, and taken shots with strangers. This is the place you want to go.“
“Excellent brunch offerings, attentive service! Highly recommend the Avocado toast, try it with a side of home fries. Really enjoyed the Chicken and Waffles Benedict, egg was poached perfectly. Coffee is a a local premium brand, and was delicious. Mimosas were spot-on The server was really enthusiastic and cheerful, and made our birthday celebration even more celebratory. 10/10 highly recommend“
“Excellent experience! While my bestie was having brain surgery at Johns Hopkins I walked down to this neighborhood bar. I met the manger Dave and the bartender Merideth. Awesome people they listened to what I was going through and they were so kind and understanding. The environment is awesome and so is the clientele. Good music everything from punk, rock, and pop. But it definitely wasn’t to loud. A total non judgement zone. All different walks of life. Great pool table also. I will be visiting this bar every time I’m in Baltimore. This is definitely a hidden gem in charm city! Thanx Spirit Tavern!“
“Metro Gallery was the cutest little spot to see a concert in the city, without it being a scary area when leaving late. Parking was easy and accessible, the venue was small but still had ample space, and gender neutral bathrooms were available. The bartenders were so incredibly sweet, even though I would say when it comes to the bar, the drinks can get quite pricey. Everyone was kind and respectful despite the small space, which I know can be an issue at some concert venues.“
“I first went to this spot with my girlfriend in 2015, and thought it was extended branch of Belvedere Square public market! It's like a spell was cast on me, one that was a reminder ?️ of the City 's other public markets . . . And the other spots which had tried their best yet FAILED!R-House, in the middle of our street!“
“Food was excellent! Service was great! I need to visit once or twice more before giving 5 stars just to make sure it's real lolVegetarian options: The chili was very tasty. My husband enjoyed the vegan fajita bowl special. The cheese "steak" was good but was more like a chicken cheese steak than reg steak.Dietary restrictions: I feel like anyone with any restrictions can find food to eat here. My family has a lot and we enjoyed it.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu had more options than some other restaurants. They even had a kids impossible burger which is basically unheard of.“
“This is the cutest store I never knew existed, until my neighbor brought me to lunch here. The food and service were excellent, she had a scrumptious Rubin and I the Chicken Parmigiano on (what we call in NY) a Hero. Their drinks, desert and food bar are well stocked with all ranges of food/salads..they even had the Cardi Whip Shots!Oh and let's not even start on their cute accessories/gifts. Great experience.“
