“An incredible spot for barbecue ? . We have the pork sandwich ? plantains and mac and cheese ? this was one of the best cooked pulled pork I've ever tasted in my life. Mac and cheese was served in a generous portion and not gooey a very good cheese pull can be obtained! I especially love their barbecue sauces. The spicy sauce is quite nice with a subtle spice that is not overpowering the flavor of the barbecue. We're going to be regulars here for sure!“

“We had a rack of ribs, brisket, small mac and cheese and coleslaw and it was delicious!

Mackie's packed all our food individually and then put it all in an aluminum pan just big enough to hold it so it survived the trip back home with no problems.

This place is the best! We went to the Gaithersburg (Ziggy Lane) location

I think prices are reasonable for what you get, service is always pleasant. The ribs are my favorite, but everything else is good, too!

There is a table out front for those that wish to eat there. We did carryout.

“Seated quickly at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday. Menus brought and ice water. We ordered and they brought warm fresh pita bread and Israeli salads to share. I ordered a rib eye medium done and it came out well done. Had to return it and when the new one came out it was rare. No happy medium. Green beans were delicious. Wife ordered Jerusalem mix with rice which was good. Service was slow, took a long time to get refills on water and more salads! Asked for a to go box and waitress never brought it, I went to the kitchen to ask for one. Food is good but slow service!“

“This is my favorite place to go for Asian BBQ. They have so many choices of seasonings to put on your food while it is cooking and they put the vegetables and cheese corn right next to the grill to heat up. Their food is very fresh and comes with either ice cream or s'mores for dessert. You have the option to order off of the other menu because there is also a dumpling restaurant there or rent a karaoke room for you and your guests. A must try here is the watermelon juice, so refreshing!! The biggest complaint that I had from our last visit is that the server seemed overwhelmed and when we asked for more cheese corn she just placed a bowl of it on the table for us to put where it belonged, instead of putting it in the place next to the grill to warm. This hasn't been my experience before, but there is a first time for everything. Usually the service is spot on.“
