The staff is always friendly, attentive, and quick without making you feel rushed. The food is so good, everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. Their cocktails are delicious, and the menu has something for everyone. I’ve never had a bad dish here. “Had a Valentines dinner, and everything was well executed, with attentive service without being fawning. The meatball app was tender, flavorful and accompanied by balanced marinara. The lobster bisque was outstanding. The filet was perfectly cooked, and the sauce and potatoes were worthy costars. Typed off with a miso butterscotch creme brulee that was simply unctuous. We look forward to trying the full menu.”

“We had a rehearsal dinner catered by Moe’s a little over a week ago on Saturday night of Memorial Day Weekend. The event was in Bar Harbor. The food was excellent and plentiful. We had ribs, mac and cheese, cornbread, chicken, cold slaw , dessert and more. The two servers were the BEST. Mackie and Cody were great! Extremely personable and friendly to everyone. I would order from Moe’s again wthout a doubt.”

“At Uno's in Bangor, ME yesterday (04/15/25)....My husband doesn't like the chunky sauce and likes the sauce on the bottom....my exact order was marina sauce (not chunky) and sauce on the bottom, no sauce on the top like a regular pizza ....my order WAS repeated back to me correctly. Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!”

“We tried M Thai on a date night and we couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. We were seated quickly and given as much time as we needed to look over the menu. We ordered appetizers that were delicious. For our main courses we had duck pho and the crispy pad Thai, which was amazing. We didn’t order dessert but I’m sure it would’ve been great. This place is a must visit if you’re in Bangor.”

“My first experience at Utopia was amazing! It was NYE and they were booked solid with reservations. We got there early and they were very kind and let us use a table, which I was not expecting. It did not interfere with anyone's reservations. The food was spectacular as well as the service. I highly recommend Utopia and I love that there were lots of vegan options!!”

We had a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting made for my daughter’s 16th birthday, and all of our guests raved about it! It was the best cake I’ve ever had! We’ve picked up extra goodies from the bakery case many times as well, and they are always amazing. Highly recommend for all of your bakery needs.”

“I love geaghans. Their food is very good pub faire, with the boneless wings and the homemade pub cheese a standout. I wish the reserve sauce was still an open secret menu option. The beer is made locally, all quite good. Special shout-out to their ciders, big fan of those.

The bar area is great and the atmosphere is really good. Friendly folks and there is always something going on. The restaurant area is nice, too, but a much calmer atmosphere. I feel it's outdated, but maybe that's part of the charm. Nothing to reduce the final rating though.”

“Went to pick up food after they said it would be about 45 min no big deal got there and they said it was gonna be another hour after the 45 mins allready passed waiting in my vehicle for 45 min and went in and asked how close and the lady said yours is about to go in and I said it has been 2 and half hours I just wanted to know cause I had groceries in the car and I live 45 mins away. So she proceeded to tell me in her exact words “it’s not our fault the damn owner won’t shut us down in the middle of a snowstorm as well as it is just me as I am the store manager and one other person” well the other person heard her yelling at me and came out and said what’s going on ? And I said I wondering where our food is it’s been over two hours. He said look dude it is just us two and if you don’t like it leave and I was like I have waited foe over two hours and my food is made right there about to go in the over I’m not leaving !!! He now that I know is just the delivery driver told the manager to cancel my “******** order and kick him out and call the cops. And I said call the cops for what this is insane. And that’s what the manager did cancel my order and told me to leave. All because I was frustrated that it had been almost 2 and half hours and just wanted to know what was going on, but because they were short staffed they blamed it on me for asking. I called corporate as well as the franchise owner and no call back after 8 calls I will never in my life eat at another dominos after that.”

“The Main Tavern is an iconic pub in downtown Bangor. I particularly like the chicken wings with a glass of white wine. The service is fast and the ambiance is terrific. There is plenty of parking in back of the pub so you do not have to search for a parking space. There is a parking lot entrance on Main Street right beside the lit Hopeful Sign. This pub is the oldest family run business in Bangor. The Main Tavern maybe the oldest continuously run pub in the State of Maine. The patrons and owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. This is a "must do" stop on your way to Bar Harbor and to the coast. I am not much of a drinker but I like the people and the atmosphere. I definitely will be back soon. Thanks Debbie and Peter for always making us feel welcome. We appreciate you. “Today was our first time trying Chili’s and we had such a great experience! Our waiter, Will, was absolutely amazing—I can’t say enough good things about him. He was attentive, welcoming, helpful, and so kind throughout our entire visit. Even though it was dinner time on a Saturday, we received our food in a very reasonable amount of time. Everything was delicious, and we especially recommend trying the Big Mouth Bites—they were a standout! Our waitress was a standout — prompt, attentive without being overbearing, and never let a drink go empty. With a couple of cocktails between us, the total came to around $140–$150 for four people, which felt reasonable.
Applebee's has stayed consistent over the years, and this visit was no different. Nothing over the top, but good food, a comfortable atmosphere, and excellent service. Worth a stop if you're looking for a reliable, no-fuss meal.”

“OJ is a Bangor STAPLE! It has been there for as long as I can remember and it’s grown and changed along with the times, I wish they would open their buffet back up…. But if you want the best chinese food and best service, this is the place to go!”

“My bestie and I checked this place out last Sunday. a young man named Justin was working. He was busting his butt because he was the only one there. He is fully capable of running that place alone with his eyes closed and did an outstanding job but I felt it was unfair to him that his crew bailed on him and not one person, not even an owner or a manager came in to help out on a Sunday in Downtown Bangor. With the present state of Downtown, I feel this is a security risk to have an employee work alone at all. He waited on everyone, made their orders, served them, took their cash and had the responsibility of cleaning everything up and likely restocking. He apologized for the wait even though it was not his fault he was working alone and he was moving pretty fast and he was very efficient. Justin 100% deserves a raise and all Sunday's off this summer because he earned it. 10/10 Justin's service, smoothies, and serving abilities. Please show this employee his hard work is appreciated. I am very fussy about customer service because it's not a job meant for everyone so I have to be really impressed by someone to give them such a high review but he exceeded my expectations and the wait allowed me to watch him work and you are truly fortunate to have him on your team. It's why I asked what his name was. I wanted to make sure he got the recognition for a job well done. The smoothie was great, the corn chowder was really good too!! I would definitely go back here again and hope to see this place stick around for awhile. The wait did not take away from the experience for me because it wasn't because he was working slowly. He got hit with a rush right after we walked in. I would like to see some better carry trays only because the smoothies don't stay put and we ended up dropping one because we couldn't get them to stop moving around in the trays. I would also love to see you offer beet powder as an option to add to smoothies. It's sooo good in a strawberry or cherry smoothie. 8/10 overall score from me. Drinks were decently sized, I think my smoothie was like $11 and it was delicious.”

Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!”
