“Just had a top notch dinner at Havana. And as someone who has to eat gluten free I was so impressed when the waiter brought out gluten free bread for me when he brought out bread for the table AND my own butter/spreads for it so there wasn’t cross contamination. Every dish we ate was amazing. Do not overlook the vegan option! My daughter (not vegan) thought it was one of the best meals she has eaten in years.”

“Day one. Lobster roll, clam chowder and a great cup of coffee. Everything freshly made and delicious. Came back everyday, for a week to try the morning sweets. The shop has very good quality retail items, presented without clutter. A lovely place where we will return to again. From Oregon.”

“We've eaten at LaBella Vita many times during our stays at the Harborside. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner are consistently good. standard Italian menu well done. Pizza's, pasta, and various other dishes make this a good go-to if you're in the area. The bar is small but a nice hangout for a cocktail, and wood-fired pizza later at night. Servers are attentive, service is quick, and food is good. Worth a visit when you're in Bar Harbor next.”

“Honestly a really good bagel sandwich and the espresso drinks were nice too (coffee was not super strong in what we ordered so could definitely add shots). Friendly service and a nice space to sit and relax. Seating was easy to find early in the morning and liked their styling.

She has an incredible vision and the skill to create stunning tablescapes. She personalized the entire setup, from fresh flowers to custom name cards, and my guests were so impressed. “This is what my wife and I will say about Janice’s cakes: We were married 30+ years ago and we and our guests are STILL talking about the cake. My wife put a photo of it in her locket opposite a shot of me from the wedding. We’ve spent the years since trying to replicate its deliciousness and continually fail. Janice is that good.”

“Slice of Eden made our wedding cupcakes last year and they were fantastic! We had half of them made as chocolate with Swiss buttercream icing and half blueberry lemon cupcakes with whipped cream icing. They were a huge hit and gone so fast! We decided to have them make us a small blueberry lemon cake with whipped cream icing for our anniversary this year since we did not have one to save from our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! I can’t say enough good things about this place!”
