So we went there and found his new favorite place to eat in the world! They had fresh cut fries which he raved about! Mimi, these are so good, way better than Mc Donald's! And those were his favorite fries , lol. He also got 1/4 BBQ chicken with spicy sauce, baked beans and garlic toast. I tried their Italian beef with peppers and onions. There was more food than we could eat and it was all delicious. The owner was very nice, helpful and personable but not intrusive at all. We required a to go container for my grandsons leftovers so he now had a full lunch for tomorrow as well. Food was very fresh and well made with large portions and the restaurant was clean and full of sports memorabilia. It's a delightful change from chain places and I highly recommend it.”

I've never been to a dinner where everyone was saying, "You've got to try this!' and everyone was tasting each other's dishes. They were fine with us bringing a wedding cake and even found a box big enough to hold the leftover cake. Speaking of leftovers, most of us required take home containers because of the generous portions.We weren't about to leave food that tasty behind!”

But on the other hand everything I ate wasn’t very fresh. To eat the French toast you need a cup of water to dip it in . Way to hard . I got hash here and was like rocks . The slushes are the best . But nice little snack area. Only thing two employees was talking and I walked up stood there for 30 seconds and they still didn’t say anything. So I said excuse me . Still nothing. So I walked away . They then tried to help me and I said nvm pay attention to your customers. With all this I still give a 5 star. Because it helps a manager talk to these people to fix the issues. If you complain about the price and give a one star , just seems crazy . Also with COVID I think they should clean the tables. Couldn’t find one clean table and they just stood there for most part”

After talking to Jeff, a new manager, he corrected the mistake and made me a new meal. He seemed very concerned and even stated that he is keeping a closer eye on the grill.
His eye contact and professionalism convinced me of his genuine effort.

Toyo was extremely thoughtful and helpful when communicating with me on what would work best for my retreat. She worked with me on quantity and variety of juices for my guest and provided cute containers for each juice. She above and beyond in helping my store the containers until I could pick them up the day before I left for my retreat. If you are ever in Kalamazoo, try to get one of their juices. If you live in Kalamazoo and haven’t taken the plunge to try one, you’re missing out!”

While they were “just doing their jobs,” they were amazing. If the rest of the staff is half as good as these two, do not hesitate to stop in. We could not have dreamed of better service. Service was great and our bartender/waitress was great. Only issue was this loud drunk couple swearing and yelling loudly at the bar, throwing F bombs and loudly calling people pussies. I watched the bartender tell him to tone it down a few times but the guy was just a loud belligerent drunk. I am no prude but I don’t go to a restaurant to listen to that. This was at 7:00 not 10:30. Glad I didn’t bring young children with me as that would have been an issue. Loved the place other than that.”

“The food was excellent and filling. We had a newer waitress but she was excellent and we liked her. I split my meal with another person in our party and we still had plenty. We had a large table in a corner by the window. I had such a generous portion of hashbrowns and I was so happy with it. It's was reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.”

“I ordered through GrubHub. The cheese curds were fantastic and the portion was huge for the price. Unfortunately, they didn't send the chicken tenders entree I ordered, so I can't comment on that. The cheese curds were good enough that I'll give them another try though!”

“Denisha was a wonderful manager and assisted me so efficiently and diligently when my order got messed up on my way to work in the morning and was able to replace it for me with no issues it's great to see a manager who actually handles the responsibilities well honestly this is one of the best McDonald's in the Kalamazoo area”

“Excellent experience-- Food was great, service was kind and prompt, and overall, we were very pleased with this restaurant! Parking was also ample.
We recommend the filet mignon medallion meals, the baked potato, and the wings were also very solid. While we did not imbibe on this occasion, drinks were ~$9 for cocktails (ranged), so very reasonable here as well.”
