“A hidden gem can be found inside the Marriott Hotel in Brooklyn Park. The food and service here are top notch! We ordered the wings and requested the Tennessee hot sauce. The sauce had a nice kick and was perfect for our liking! The Brussels sprouts were crispy, and the flavors were unique and delicious. I'm not usually a fan of blue cheese, but the combination of all the seasonings was one of the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had! The ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The staff informed us that the steaks are always fresh, never frozen, and I could definitely taste the difference when I took the first bite. The staff were friendly and provided amazing service!“

“We decided to try this spot on a hungry whim and found the food to be delightful. The poblano corn was wonderful. The PB&Jay burger was a fun treat. The BBQ sauce on the ribs is sweeter than you expect so take caution if you order the St. Louis rib mac & cheese - but do note if you mix it all up the cheese mellows the sweetness. Our server, Dani, was an absolute delight. Often she would have our drink refills before we even realized we were low. So if you’re hungry and on a whim, stop on by.“

“A really great experience. For us, different new cuisine, made in an accessible and delicious way. The plating was appetizing. The bison, soups and yes....the snack like popcorn crickets were our favorites. A very helpful server and all the staff was friendly and nice. Very glad we went on a visit from New York. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated!Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.“

Our waitress even split appetizers on the checks and was perfect for providing the best experience possible.Food was ok, just wish there were more offerings. Very greasy cuban but Brussel sprouts were amazing and had a decent amount. I only took 1 star away because 100% of the time I've sat in, they forget my bakery item and then are sold out and can't offer me anything. “Had dinner at Kona Grill - Minnetonka last night and was pleasantly surprised by their late hours, open till midnight! They even offer a late-night happy hour. The sushi was decent, akin to what you'd expect from a mall location, as it's situated in Ridgedale Center. The service was top-notch - our server was both friendly and attentive. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the aquariums, adding a unique charm to the dining experience. A solid choice for a late evening out!“

“Omg this is a must do!!! They have an Italian Giglio feature right now that is just so awesome. We booked a reservation about a month out which you have to do as it books out quick! You do need to pay in advance which I don't love but also makes sense and makes it easier at the end of the night. We were in the upper part of the restaurant and we just had a blast. Not only was the food fabulous, the service is quick, witty and top notch plus they have events and small moments throughout the evening to make it fun. We did trivia during dinner but they also had music playing and interactive food stations. For this feature the mozzarella and cacio e Pepe from the cheese wheels are to die for. I wanted to eat just that for my entire meal! Highly highly recommend.“

“You walk in into a small yet inviting waiting area with a small bar. If you got the pre drink package, you get a small menu of crafted cocktails or you can ask the bartender to make your own. After your introductory drink, they take you to the dining area which is a U shaped are with the kitchen in the center. You get an amazing experience from start to finish with 7 to 11 courses; you won't leave hungry. The wine pairing is carefully selected for a perfect match to each dish. The food is TOP NOTCH. They way the flavors come together in your pallet is really an experience you need to have for yourself.“

“Had a great dinner on a Saturday night. The roasted beet salad was a perfect preparation - beet , citrus, ricotta - one of the best beet salads I have ever had. The parsnip ravioli was also a winner. My dining companion raved about his radiatori nero - had a nice spice!“

“Casual and cozy bar/diner (actually never been on the "restaurant" side) with a big menu. We always try to get a seat at the bar, good luck! Usually always busy and bustling. Bartenders and servers are friendly and attentive. Go here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner... sure to satisfy!“

“This was the perfect restaurant find for our friends weekend out. The atmosphere was so fun, eye catching, unique and well decorated! The food was hands down delicious. The bars are beautiful! “Came to Char Bar for the first time for happy hour on Saturday with Kim T. Char Bar is a speakeasy on the inside of Butcher & Boar (through the glass doors). We arrived around 4:45 pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too crazy busy, we were one of a handful of tables. The hour menu was pretty good! A good amount of food and drink items ranging between $6-10. I had the Chicken Sammy ($10), Kim had an Arby's style 3 Way Beef & Cheese sando ($17), and we split the Curly Fries ($6). I also ordered two of the non happy hour burgers to go ($8/each). I really liked my sandwich a lot, chicken was perfectly crispy, the slaw was savory and sweet, Polynesian vibes. I would absolutely get it again! Kim liked her sandwich but she said the sauce was too much and soaked the bottom of the bun, the curly fries were fine. I had a dragon tattoo cocktail, serenity pineapple rum cocktail, and a frozen rum & cherry coke slushy. Drinks were boozy but pricey! Loved the menu showing the drinks very cute and visibly pleasing. Update: Butcher Burger ($8) was sensational! It's no Parlour Bar burger but it's sooo good, tasted gourmet and traveled well. Fun fact: the restaurant group over Parlour Bar also owns Char Bar! I liked the pickled onions and the chipotle mayo cheese sauce, good solid burger for a good price!“

“It's a bar with a restaurant. Kitchen seriously needed some ventilation. Very smoky in the restaurant, not burnt smoke, or cigarette smoke, but just good ole fashioned kitchen smoke. Be warned when they're serving their brunch menu in the morning they do not offer their a full menu.“

“My expectations were probably too high walking in. The food was good, not as outstanding or as interesting as I would have thought. The grilled sea salt oyster on the way in was tasty. They brought us well prepared chicken, some sushi small bite, and other things I can't remember a month later that were enjoyable. The cake was dry and not worth the calories (or cost). The dietary restriction I indicated was missed but they were able to adjust in the moment. The atmosphere was lovely upstairs. We ate in the covered outdoor area at a shared table.“

I liked the seats because we could see the food coming out of the kitchen and the hustle and bustle of the wait staff right in front of us. My order was correct and the food was hot and tasted great. The pancakes are HUGE! Though I do not eat gluten, my date said his pancakes had a lot of blueberries and the taste was great! I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because it was noisy and music was playing overhead. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it. The staff was attentive and kind. “This is one of our special occasion places! The food and ambience is always so great. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the place you want to take to impress them. We like the bar side, but went for a date night recently and ate on the dinner side. We had an impromptu four course meal that was curated by our server. We took out time and didn't feel rushed. Every server and staff seem to be in a good mood and polite, whether they are bringing you food, cleaning your table, or passing you on your way out. I definitely recommend going about an hour before sunset. PS the setting in the former monk's quarters is beautiful.“

“It's been a while since my last visit to Ray J's, and I've always enjoyed their amazing wings. Last night, I opted for their Monday special – a $7 burger with fries – and it truly surpassed my expectations! The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection, while the fries were hot, crispy, and accompanied by California toppings that made it an outstanding deal. “My friends and I visit Parlour regularly. We enjoy the vibes, the cocktails, the service, and of course THE BURGERS. Believe the hype. Simple yet delicious. The cocktails - you can of course order great drinks off the menu, but also, you can tell the bartender to surprise you! I enjoy the creativity. However, I’m writing a review for the service I received via phone yesterday. I recently purchased an online gift card for a friend and they unfortunately didn’t receive it. I called Parlour and they were incredibly kind and understanding. Within a few minutes, the manager called me back and they reissued the gift card in less than 30 minutes. I was prepared for follow-up phone calls and redirects to other contacts, but they made it quick and simple. It makes sense given the friendly service we’ve experienced when we dine-in. “This brunch spot is adorable and has excellent food and drinks. The service wasn’t great - no one explained to us the self serve area vs full service area when we walked in, just stared at us. Another group walked in behind us and the staff then proceeded to explain everything quite kindly to them. The staff member that took our order at the counter acted quite annoyed and barely spoke to us.“

They helped suggest food choices, prepared perfectly to serve about 60 in attendance. Food was excellent, delivery was included along with some set up help. “I don’t think this place gets enough recognition after taking over the old Rock Elm. We come here about once or twice a month and always have a great experience. Food is always solid and reasonably priced. They also have a great kids menu, which is a bonus for us with a four year old. Easy enough to get a table on weekends and the staff, from the hostesses to the servers, are very friendly and attentive! Pizza is really good, along with their burgers, sandwiches, wings, fries and cheese curds. Paulie’s has become our new favorite family dinner spot in MG.“

“The U of M Campus Club is a really unique and special place on campus - full of history and hospitality. It's a great place to meet with U of M community, clients, family, friends. We've participated in family events (Mother's Day Brunch, Easter Brunch, etc.), department events, seminars, Wine and Scotch tastings, countless lunches and enjoyable happy hours. Great food and drinks.One thing I’d like to see Memory Lanes improve is the number of waitstaff on schedule. Each time I’ve been there, whether for a league night or a random weekend, I notice that people frequently have to go to the bar to order beverages or food (or, like me, just go without).It would also be helpful to patrons if they could work with neighbors to open up additional parking options. Maybe they could offer a way to incentivize patrons to carpool or take alternative transportation? Something to consider.Overall I love that this place seems to have always supported the local punk and underground music scene, has good music/food/drinks/bowling, and everyone is usually very friendly and helpful. “2 Dope Chicks has a seemingly endless amount of food options to satisfy all tastes and dietary restrictions. I ordered the Philly omelette with a side of hash. The omelette was phenomenal! Fresh Philly steak, cheese, peppers, onions, eggs, and creamy hash was a fantastic combination. I also ordered a sausage and bacon quesadilla with French toast, also delicious. I had to try the buffalo chicken Mac as well. Overall, pleased with my first time trying food here. Everything is made fresh to order so I recommend placing your order online ahead of time. 2 Dope Chicks is a fantastic food option in the Government Plaza section of downtown Minneapolis! There is a lot more on the menu that I want to check out (pizza, catfish, tacos, burgers).“
