“Came here with a party of 9 for my mother in laws birthday. We were very excited to experience this restaurant because of the reviews. While we weren’t impressed by the food. I was surely impressed by our waitress Phoebe I believe her name was. She let us know she was new to the staff! We appreciate her enthusiasm, customer service and hospitality! She is what made our experience. While it was disappointing to see her pulled from waitress to toilet duty! The smell of bleach was overwhelming as we were sat right next to the bathroom. I’d only come back for her service! You need more of her at your establishment!”

“honestly we didn’t have a good experience when we tried this restaurant BUT after waiting an hour and a half and still not getting our food, we informed the manager that we were leaving. she handled the situation very very well!! she apologized and insisted that we take our food to go for free. as we were walking out, she rushed to box our food. She gave us our food for free plus two gift certificates. we ate the food on our long drive home and it was EXCELLENT!!!! We will definitely be giving it a second chance. Kuddos to the manager for turning this around! Update: i also sent this same review/ message to the restaurant. The owner promptly responded with a very professional response. Again, this is how you run a business! Everyone makes mistakes, but how this business responded was top notch!”

I ordered the Wonton 🌮 tacos and they were fresh crispy and good to my gut!! My server was LaLa she was nice and Professional with a nice attitude! “Stumbled upon this hidden gem while walking and exploring Downtown Cape Girardeau. Amazing display of music including cassettes, vinyl records, and cd's. Their record wall was astonishing and the atmosphere is very inviting. Drinks were well worth their price and the owner was super friendly and social. Will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend for anyone to try out. We had shots, coke/whiskey, and a Nudie Suit (Scientist Dub Mix) which included 6mg of THC”

I often enjoy a good pour over from a roaster to really highlight their skill and roasting. But these guys pulled a shot of their Ethiopian and of their decaf and it blew my mind. The flavors were so fresh and delicious and the hospitality was off the charts. I highly recommend visiting this place and making it your go to coffee shop.”

I ordered a couple of rolls, and every bite was packed with flavor. The sushi was fresh, the presentation was on point, and the sauces tied everything together perfectly. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

“Was a customer at your facility on 9/30/21. My experience was mixed. Started out with the drink that was delivered to my companion had a "gob" of hair stuck to the bottom of the glass. A manager seated us took our drink order and delivered our drink gave us menu's. We asked a passing waiter to please send Manager to our booth. She returned asking if she could help. My friend just held up the glass for her to see. She asked if he wanted another drink and apologized. Our waiter, Brian H upon bringing our order which we questioned the portion size of one of the orders (same order). , one plate seemed to be much smaller than the other. Brian said "I'll be back". He only came back when he brought the check. Very poor service. Food was good.”

Starting with the food: it was okay, but not great. The portions were decent and everything came out hot and fresh, which is always a plus. The flavors, however, were fairly average. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing really impressed me either. It felt like standard Mexican fare without much depth or uniqueness, good enough to satisfy hunger, but not memorable. I didn’t find myself thinking about any particular dish afterward, which usually says a lot.
The service was about on par with the food. The staff was polite and did their job, but there wasn’t much warmth or attentiveness beyond the basics. We weren’t ignored, but we also didn’t feel especially welcomed or checked on. Everything moved at an acceptable pace, just nothing that stood out as exceptional.
The atmosphere is where things slipped a bit more. The heat inside the building was turned up too high, which made it uncomfortable to sit and enjoy the meal. Combined with that, the restaurant felt a little dingy and worn. It wasn’t dirty, but it could definitely use some updates and better temperature control to make the space more inviting.
Overall, it’s an okay spot if you’re nearby and craving Mexican food, but there are probably better options if you’re looking for great food, standout service, or a comfortable dining environment.”

“So happy that Cape now has a Krispy Krunchy chicken. Better than Popeyes and definitely better than KFC but might be a tie for Chick-Fila for its own reasons. The chicken here is definitely crispy and always freshly cooked hot when ordered. The flavor combined with price beats out Popeyes and they used to be my #1 fried chicken place to go. Friendly customer service, first time I’ve ever seen it from a trailer in a parking lot, but it still tastes just as good as any other location. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality as well!! Love their wedge fries and red beans with rice as well!”

Located in Central Cape-Girardeau, this unassuming spot delivers -consistency-.

The ingredients are fresh. The bell peppers, carrots, and green beans are all bright in color.
The kitchen is quick (around 10 minutes for a to-go order for two)
The vegetables are always cooked al-dente and kept crisp, not cooked into oblivion.

We've had
Beef and Broccoli, Spicy Beef, Szechuan Chicken, Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken, and Dumpling Soup.

We've been to every Chinese take-out spot in Cape Girardeau, this one for me is the most consistent and closest to what you'll expect for NY style takeout.

The atmosphere is typical Chinese NY Take-out spot. Frenetic Pace, open concept with a fully visible kitchen and a dated overhead 'backlit' paper menu.

The avocado ranch alone is to die for!!!! My food came out perfect and hot in about 8 minutes. And was served by a very sweet and kind gentleman promptly. My waitress was prompt and checked on me regularly. Filled my glass when it was half full and stayed on top of things. The restaurant is clean, very well maintained, and has the best employee atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend this Chili's 🌶️. I live an hour and a half away and will most definitely be returning as a normal or regular customer!!!!”
